What Kim said is not true unfortunately. I paid for my stay, and booked the actual dates once talking to a representative (paid twice now essentially) and I have no actual confirmation of my dates booked with the hotel meaning no paperwork/emails/anything that I can show as concrete proof of purchase except the charges through my bank. Even when you go to Burger King and buy a burger, you get a receipt. Not just a charge on your bank card. I've called 3 times. Gotten no resolutions. Has anyone actually gone on any of these vacations? I feel like I'm just going to show up in another country and have no hotel to stay at!
