I'm honestly really mad. Tried accessing my MySpace account and I could not do that. Wanted to search for old photos and see into my messages... nothing is the same. When you search your name it only shows 10 profiles and will not search any more than that. Whoever bought MySpace... suck my butt. You suck. I hate you. That's why you're poor. Your mother. Insert middle finger.

The website is slow and unresponsive sometimes. The site is outdated and it's hard to read the text because the font sizes on every element is small. No one uses Myspace so not sure why it's even up still. Don't waste your time on here because you will get a headache.

Remember The days when your feed wasn't saturated with fake news and political posts? Your data wasn't being sold to the highest bidder? You have full control over what you did and didn't have all over your page? That's because you remember Myspace.
It's honestly tragic this website was killed by Facebook and Twitter. Given the state of things with social media these days. ( Facebook and Twitter have this tendency to hold a daily contest to see who's Cesspool runs deeper) I know I'm not alone in saying I really wish it would make a comeback.

I know I am gonna get the "boos" on this, but the new myspace is actually quite cool. You can connect with people or you can just skip that process, the "deck" is very nice, the layout is smooth and the ads (including video) are nicely streamed and out of the way so you can better enjoy the features. If you are a music fan, this is the place I prefer.

I started using myspace back in 2005 when I was 16, it was such an awesome platform when compared to Facebook it just blew it away. You could do so much on your page and I made so many friends and more on there. Now it is just a husk of what it used to be, I wish they would fix it and make it like how it used to be back in the day.
I gave 2 stars just for nostalgia reasons since I really did love myspace, was a good part of pop history I would have to say. Bring back myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and everything else sucks compared to the original myspace.

Back im the day Myspace was amazing definitely had cooler options then facebook like adding music to your profile that plays your list when people visit your profile. The glittery backgrounds etc. Facebook is going down hill and i was just about to give Myspace another chance in hopes that they made positive changes so that i could brag about the changes to everyone i know and get people to give Myspace another chance. Well sadly i went to the app store and found out Myspace does not have a mobile app. Thats your major problem right there people are addicted to social media especially the ones with apps that you can just click and automatically be on your account and not have to type in the site then click log in and then have to put in ur log in info etc. Get a mobile app and people might want to come back. We live in a lazy society why would they want to go from a click a way to having to do all that extra just to get in...

Where the hell are my pictures, myspace?! They sat on a dead server for 15 years, no issues. Able to access them when I wanted to take a trip down memory lane. Now? Everything was converted to the "new myspace" and not only are hundreds of photos corrupted and gone forever; but they rub in your face that "you can still retrieve the data if you have the device they were uploaded from."
Who IN THEIR RIGHT MIND still has their computer from 2010? New owners are fu cking insane. Every corrupted photo has a caption and I can picture exactly what the photo would be, but alas, it's not retrievable because myspace is a bunch of morons who can't transfer data correctly.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it every again.

I used to love Myspace when it was popular. I tried making a new account the other day and I found that the site has changed so much, to the point that it's barely even Myspace anymore. I could hardly even figure out what the point of it was.
Tip for consumers:
Stick to Facebook for now.

MySpace made my teenager days the best (most of the time) that's where I got to meet a lot of my friends with who I still talk to. That's where I met my first love -no, for real because we lived in the same city. I have great memories from this site, but now I'm afraid of loggin in again. There was an explosion of great bands you could discover and go insane because of their great music.
To this day I wonder what happened to you (no, it wasn't FB's "fault").
It would be great if you could reinvent yourself as a music site or a social network. I still have faith in you!

I have been trying for about a month to get into my account. I was able to log in a few months ago but now I can't. I tried getting ahold of Netscape and of course I can't just reactivate my old email. So how do I reset my password? How do I contact Myspace? They have made this absolutely rediculous. I only want to get on there due to a death I have tons of pictures I would like to have. Don't have the old phones they came off of. Don't try and email support it doesn't work. And supposedly you can ask quests on the help. Nope can't do that either. I only gave Myspace 1 star I'd give it less if I could.

I think that myspace transformation is having a difficult time and is slowly dying out.

Please don't get sucked in - its a social networking system in which people reveal more on their myspace then to any one individual in real life. A good place to have a long distance connection with family and friends from afar. Im not trashing myspace, im just presenting some realistic things about it, and not all are negative. You may reach some desperate person in their darkest hour and prevent them from something rash, or may express some feelings of your own. I leave the choice up to you

We think that there should be an other button when you chose your gender.
What about the hermaphrodites, or transsexuals, or people who want to be animals. We feel that websites are being discriminative by classifying Only "male and female".

No Wonder Myspace is irrelevant now,I can't even get a simple request password, other website will send it without any trouble,I had to write a request because I am not getting any requests to reset my password, and I'm still waiting for a response, this is ridiculous,I also checked my junk mail and nothing, not to mention the website take forever to load, you can't looked up your friend because their profile takes forever to load,no wonder people ask if Myspace still exists or not

Obviously the concept is fantastic and that is why it does not get the lowest rating from myself.
I do use, and try to listen to music on there. However their media player constantly crashes and this really annoys me. I also think some users have to much freedom to skin their profile pages which allows people with no idea a chance to ruin a good looking site.
However the majority of myspace is horrible looking and it is not that easy to use, due to load time and especially due to media crashes especially in chrome

Decided to give the site a try again. Left it after Murdoch purchased it. Made a new account this evening. Receive an error message 'uploads are temporarily disabled' when trying to upload my profile photo. Tried searching for a music group that I enjoy, and the search wasn't working. I left the page, and again searched the band name. The band appeared. I clicked on the band, and got an error message. It's no wonder I never hear about the site anymore. The old Mypsace is still my favorite social media platform of all time. Too bad they never could get it back on its legs after Murdoch ruined it.
Edit: The site did link to the band name after the 3rd try. But images of the band and similar music aren't loading.

The pictures doesn't upload. It's extremely slow and I have to wait several minutes just to see one pic. I quit using MySpace given how unresponsive it is.

The only thing good about this site is it's good for bands & things like that. But forget about trying to contact celebs or band. Most don't respond at all,& it seems to be if your not a big name like MJ or madonna or the royal family then bugger off becase your not up there with the big names. It seems like they're going for too much of heaven & looking for angels instead..

A Walk Down Memory Lane, and an Addition to it - I believe that even through the speed bump critiques myspace.com goes through, it is an unbelievable way to connect with not only your past and present, but potentially your future. It is a great chance to get in touch with people, peers, and old friends you haven't seen in quite a while, while also the chance to meet new friends. It is also a great way to keep in touch with people you are close with that live out of town, out of state, and even out of the country when the phone is not always easily accessible.

Someone set up a Myspace in my sons name... he doens't have a computer, doesn't know how to run one & after all the info we can give MySpace will not take the site down or do anything to the person that has their name affiliated with it. Since Aug 15th we have complained to deaf ears.

MySpace deleted all my photos and blogs when it upgraded to its new form. For that, I deleted my account, and never coming back! If the old MySpace proved to be untrustworthy with my data, why should I trust the new one?

Imeem allows users to create playlists from a huge music library and save them to their profile. Users can share or browse by playlist, artist, or song. In theory this should work great, but the service suffers from a number of technical flaws. Sometimes the songs will only be a 30 second preview, other times the full song, navigation can also be very confusing.
That said, the service still earns 4/4 in my book because of the depth of its library and the ability to work around the flaws and create some great playlists for free.

I'm a fan of imeem. I have to admit, I do usually listen to it through my phone, but I have used the online version several times. I have found practically all of the songs I've searched for. I think the discovery feature is just as good if not better than pandora or last.fm. Best part about the mobile app are the free playlists for the summer music festivals. Not sure if they have these online.
