I cannot recommend Planet Express highly enough. I have been using this shipping service for a few years now and they have been reliable, trustworthy, fast and cost effective. I use them to ship consolidated packages for me purchased in the USA. When I have needed customer service assistance they have been extremely helpful and sorted out the issues identified. I'm sad that they no longer use DHL Express for international deliveries because at my end of things I find DHL has vastly superior customer service than other courier services. Keep up the good work!

Product arrived broken and Planet Express ignored my many requests for updates for the insurance claim I put in. Disappointing because I know they're ignoring me as I have received email correspondence from them previously without any issues. It's a shame as it could be a great service, as long as your products don't arrive broken. Date of experience: 15 February 2023

I paid for insurance for an item sent on 22 Sep 2023. Planet express will only open a claim after 30 working days. I opened a claim on 8 November and they have ignored most my except except this one which I received on 15 Jan 2024: "Hello,

The claim opened on package BI is currently still pending. Unfortunately this courier has slow processing times and takes time before concluding their investigation and providing compensation. We will send a communication for the status of this claim. Will respond back to you as soon as more information is provided. " I am happy to share and forward all correspondence but I have not received an item shipped over 4 months ago, paid insurance and they couldn't care less.

They sent me two shipments from the US to Bosnia.
The first one contained a mouse, keyboard, and other small items. The second shipment contained a tablet.

There was a situation when they packed items in a much bigger box. I saw the pictures and contacted them about that. The customer support person thought that it was a box that I received and opened. He offered a one-month of subscription at Planet Express as compensation, which cost several dollars. I would have lost much more money If they did ship that box, so that was quite a scammy action from them.

Edit: Since then, I've shipped more packages with them. What's changed is that I'm using a different provider: MyUS. It's much cheaper (cost by weight) and better quality.

They will steal from you and claim ignorance they are scammers just dig around the net a bit and you'll see plenty of bad reviews that haven't been buried.

A power generator ordered in the USA was to be delivered to Trinidad by Planetexpress. After the generator arrived at Planetexpress CA, I immediately ordered the shipment.
After a short time, I was informed that the shipping order had been canceled because the contents of the package were a battery that could only be shipped "ground only". Which is of course nonsense.
I checked with Honda (a manufacturer of identical generators) and FedEx (who were supposed to make the delivery) and was told that there are no transportation restrictions on power generators unless a battery is included.
There is no battery included. Planetexpress charged me for opening the package and checking the contents. This means that they knew there was no battery in the package. Nevertheless, they refused to forward the package, even after repeated interventions. Since Amazon refused to take the package back, I sent the generator to a friend in the US (ground delivery) who might be able to get a few dollars for it.
At first I thought it was a scam, as I thought it impossible that a generator could not be distinguished from a battery. Now it looks like there really isn't anyone at Planetexpress who knows the difference between a generator and a battery. How incompetent can you be?

The order was done through their shop-for-me service and mailed out using their planet express delivery servides. It was simply lost and I haven't been provided any info from courrier or something. The answer from planet express was simple "no insurance - no claim". They simply charge me for the good, for the shipment fees and I got nothing back except for "we apologize for incovenience". I assume this should be considered as a scam. I would never use the service again and would recommend anyone try to avoid going there at any circumstances.

Ordered a package that arrived damaged, so I contacted them to sort it out. All I got was an automated decline as I had no insurance. I emailed back asking for at least an apology, the person responding just requoted the prior message. I then reached out to their webchat, only for them to act exactly the same. Absolutely no human element or claim of responsibility.

Beware. Their customer service is atrocious.

I was asked to ship my macbook with aramex, they generated waybill but never physically handed over the shipment to aramex, when I filled the claim for lost package, they said aramex is reponsible for claim and delay is from there side, but in reality they never received the package. This happened on Feb 25, today is July 13, whenever I chat, one rude representative name Chan comes and talk very rudely.
Even I said many times, refund me or I will give bad reviews but Chan talked me very rudely and said do what you can do

My story is very close to the other reviewers story & it's clear that it's not by chance, they arrange & manage to steal people with a good deliberation between workers.

In a very few words, they stole my phone which is worth 1500$..

They kept one of my packages, the second one never arrived. And the third package has two big items mysteriously missing. Non-existent customer service. Horrible, expensive experience. Never again!

If you are looking for a forwarding company, it is recommended to pass this one and keep looking. Customer service sucks, can be insulting, argumentized and incompetent. This is an inefficient service, with unnecessary delays.in spite of premium prices.

They are scammers, they are rude, they don't do their job, they don't apologize, and just keep scamming you for money because they got you hooked- your packages are with them so you'll do anything to get your stuff. I. e pay them as many times as they force you to. That did not work with me.
They failed to send me my package THREE times and had an audacity to ask me to pay for the FORTH time so they can "send" it again. I paid, I filed the customs forms and received nothing but emails from them every week that I have a package A, then package B, then package C. I immediately noticed that something is not right because I only sent them 1 package how am I receiving 3 packages?! Turns out it's the same one package that keeps getting kicked back and they want me to pay every time it "gets kicked back" (about $18 each time). Total scam. The company's sole reason for existence is to forward packages and they miserable failed at it. They extended no apology, did not offers any solutions to their own problem that they created for me, and, moreover, asked me that I either have to pay them to they will trash my package. Can you imagine the audacity? After 3 times that THEY failed to do their job I, the customer, have to be one paying them again to send or store my package?! I asked them to trash it. If I could give this joke of a business zero starts I really would. Stay away from them, there are so many other reliable companies that have integrity and manners.

Stay away from this company. They will scam you and provide no service, they are rude and unprofessional and greedy.

I ordered an iPhone 12 Pro Max refurbished from Apple for a gift as well as an iPhone 12 Pro. After destroying a corner of the package and unsuccessfully stealing my goods, they proceeded to remove the original packaging tape, steal the iPhone 12 Pro Max and put clear tape over top then send the package as if nothing happened. After submitting a claim, they're saying it will take 90 days for the carrier to process the claim (carrier has nothing to do with this situation). Live chatting with agent and they say that nothing happened to the package because the check in picture was good when they just stole the package after entering the picture in their system. Trying to come up with excuses why the package was OPENED and DESTROYED instead of taking responsibility for their thieving employees and issuing me a refund.

The company is a scam. I tried shipping with them twice, both times the package was returned back to the company and not shipped. Short story long, don't waste your money and items with them. If you want the same service, throw away hundreds of dollars and take your package and throw it in the trash.

These people literally just use their warehouses to scam customers on eBay. They phish for users emails to send fake emails confirming payment from "eBay." Fortunately, I didn't fall for the scheme, however, it's clear from the address provided in the invoice that the intended location for my to send the high-priced item they "bought" were to their offices in Portland, OR. They had absolutely no intentions of paying for this item, hoping I would instead ship it to them, believing the fake confirmation from "eBay." This organization should be investigated thoroughly, as I am certainly not the first person they've tried to scam.

My wife and I were on holiday in the okanagan on the Hwy between osoyoos and Oliver when we were rear ended by a planet express transport truck at over 100kms per hour on July 27th, 2020. The driver; Sarvpreet Mann, was speeding and recklessly driving his tractor and trailer, he hit us so hard that my 2016 F150 was pushed into on coming traffic resulting in a head on collision that spun my truck 180 degrees at which time we were hit again by the tow behind trailer of the tractor/truck. As a result of this accident, my truck was totalled, my wife and I suffered extensive soft tissue injuries in our necks, shoulders, backs and ribs. I had to have surgery on 4 tears in my left shoulder rotator cuff and my bicep tendon. The accident closed the Hwy down for 3.5 hours and everyone involved, except the trucker and the young child he was travelling with had to go to two separate hospitals. I'm putting this review up because of the recklessness and disregard that this transport driver had when driving his partially unloaded rig on a small highway in the middle of summer with a substantial amount of traffic. Recovery is going ok, as I just had my final surgery 11 weeks ago and am now in the recovery stage. As an automotive mechanic, my shoulder is now only at 75% fully recovered and this man's actions have altered and changed my ability to work and do my job. My wife is employed by the Law Society of British Columbia and has permanent issues with her back, neck and shoulders as a result of his carelessness. I would attach pictures of the accident that shoe the devastation but this platform doesn't support attached photos. This truck driver changed both of our lives in a negative way and we were not in the new icbc "no fault" insurance process but received and are still receiving a hybrid version of it that quite frankly is unsatisfactory

They lost my package and refused to pay the insurance not only that they didnt even give me my shipping money back 70+ usd another time i had nicotine juice shipped their to come to australia which is completely legal as nicotine juice can only legally be bought from overseas and i have a prescription for it. They said they cant send it because it was a "medicine" over 300 dollars worth of nicotine juice mind you i asked them to return to sender so i could get a refund and they refused claiming its a medicine and illegal which i know for a fact its not illegal to ship nicotine from us to us they likely kept it for themselves or put it on their dodgy auction site

They had no idea about customs for the country I wanted to ship to. They told me it's my responsibility to know it. So basically they just send things and if it bounces and gets returned or eaten by customs - too bad, my fault. They have a paid subscription model, which they imply will save you money when you use it... I bought it for a month. I used it ONE time. I paid $14.19 to ship a package to their warehouse in OR. After I called FedEx and they told me about customs laws in the country I was shipping to, I found out I can't even get my package to where I want to get it to. So I asked them to send it to an address in Texas. From MI > OR = $14 but from OR > TX they told me the MINIMUM to ship it is $40, and for the same method I used it costs $60? Wtf? What kind of scam service are you guys using? How can I get a better rate with USPS than them? They are a bunch of thiefs who lie about saving you money. They didn't answer my emails, but before ignoring me they told me to pay for a return label to MI. I'm on a time crunch. I can't afford to wait another 2 weeks and do everything myself. That's they whole point for using your terrible service.

Bad, Terrible service. Expensive and obviously thieving. Don't use them, there are better services out there.

Just don't use them. There are at least 10 better shipping companies. This one is not it.

-SUMMARY: No accountability for the mistake they made, which caused me to lose my inventory and shipping freight money, all went down the drain. SHIPPERS BEWARE, do Not trust anything they said, even if they told you a product can be shipped, and turns out it's not the case, and your package got detained in customs, they will not take any responsibility for the misinformation. They will Not compensate you for the lost inventory Nor shipping money.
- DETAILS:
1) I've asked Planet Express specifically whether a product (beauty / oral care) can be shipped to Mexico before I shipped it, I even sent them a link on amazon, their staff said yes, so I sent it to them, supposed to arrive in Mexico within a week.
2) 2 weeks after, package not delivered, they said because of the delay in custom and asked me to wait.
3) 3 weeks after I sent out the package, I asked them again, they said that the package cannot go thru, because Mexico customs need a health license for the product, and now they cannot have the package returned to me, as Fedex has already informed the sender (Planet Express) 2 weeks ago about this, now it's passed the deadline of requesting the package to be returned to me. The package must be abandoned.
4) I've requested Planet Express to pay me back my inventory cost and shipping cost, they refused to do it. So I lost all my inventory money and the shipping money I've paid them, which is more than 200 USD.
- CONCLUSION: Planet Express is a company that will Not take any responsibility for the mistakes they've made. The mistake they've made could cost you to Lose your package and the shipping freight money you paid them. They don't care whether your shipment will arrive or not. If the package doesn't arrive safely, that's your problem, not theirs, they know you won't take this to a small claim court if the money you lost is just a couple hundred dollars. This is way too short sighted as a company. They made a mistake and you paid for the full price of their mistake. Based on my experience above, I Do Not trust this company. Zero Star.

I have been trying Planet Express to buy goods from the US, and in most part they have performed very well. The only difficulty I had involved multiple parcels coming to them for shipping, which they did, but it involved additional postage costs to me. This was only one time and they tried their best to make me happy, so I will still use them in future.

I lost 5 motors and 1 battery from inside their warehouse! I complained and they said it must have been lost in transit even though the weight measurement of the box that arrived CLEARLY showed the motors were inside when it arrived in their warehouse!
I was told by management:
'I had the security team review security footage as well as records pulled up. Nothing pointing to the items being taken or lost in the warehouse is shown. I honestly do not think anyone is targeting your packages. I truly believe these items were lost in transit somewhere. Best regards, Zach S.'
I bought these products again this time 7 motors and 2 batteries and consolidated them in a packet with another 600$ worth of goods...
This time I made sure to get photos from the seller and before the packet was shipped to me!
TIS TIME THE WHOLE PACKET WAS "LOST" AS SOON AS IT ENTERED THE FEDEX WAREHOUSE MEMPHIS
I trusted them as they told me and now I will open claim everywhere there is the name Planet express and will not forget to open claim with Consumer Affairs, Better Busines Bureau and RippOff Report!
They of course tell me is not their fault because it did not happen inside their warehouse but think about it:
If these parts were people and one person went missing right after entering your business and the other person went missing after leaving your business, the Planetexpress would now be swarming with detectives and investigators asking questions from everyone! Every investigator worth his salt will tell you: any answers we expect to find will be inside Planet Express! The only reason the 2nd packet containing the same parts did not go missing inside their business the 2nd time is because I made sure I got photos from seller and photos from them before the packet was shipped so it is very obvious that there was no chance for someone to steal it from inside PLANET EXPRESS but rather find a way to involve someone from FEDEX as soon as it left your business and went inside the FEDEX warehouse!
Take what you want from this story but take something from it at least!

I had to create two "Shop for Me" services due to the vendor not taking credit cards out of US but lost the items both times due to Planet Express being slow at purchasing and the item sold out both times. Not a fast process and it's disappointing, to say the least.

WORST COMPANY EVER, DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I love the idea of planetexpress, and the name. I was happy to use them, but over the past 6 months, well let's see:

They've lost DOZENS of letters. When I am expecting something, I need to e-mail them to look for stuff EVERY SINGLE TIME, at which point the exchange goes:

"Hi, I'm expecting mail" "What type of mail?" "Why does it matter? It's mail, addressed to me" "Oh, we found your mail that got delivered 2 weeks ago and we never bothered to tell you about"

Again, that's if they find it. Most of the time they don't.

They sent 2 packages to the WRONG ADDRESS, which got lost, and I've been trying to get them to help with a USPS claim for 2 months.

I'm currently waiting for them to stick a handful of letters into a larger envelope (for which they charge $30), and have been waiting well over a week and their only response is "Thanks for understanding"

And today, they sent me this utter nonsense: "The packages shipped via USPS or Planet Mail from the Oregon warehouse need to be transported to the California warehouse first then go to the USPS sorting center in LAX airport. It usually takes about 10-14 days for the USPS tracking number to be assigned"

So basically, "Our website says 3-5 day normal shipping, but it's actually 2-3 weeks, minimum"

AVOID IF YOU EVER WANT TO GET YOUR MAIL OR PACKAGES, EVER
