It's hard to measure the load time of Acttrader but it feels like it has similar load time as MTs. You need to consider the device you're using. If you will use iPone 4 for MTs I think the load time will be totally different.
I use the actTrader on my iPhone and it launches pretty quickly. Definitely around that one-second mark too. So in that regard, I think no have no worries.
