Most letters are from workers of the company paid to write most of the letters on behalf of the lady. The chat is sometimes not the lady but the workers also. I have caught them a few times. They didn't know details of what I talked to them before about.
All in all I do believe it is a scam site for several other reasons

Jared is right. I sometimes chatted with women who were either schizophrenic or very bad memories. You cannot ever be sure who the person on the other keyboard is.
