on 4/4/15To be honest with you, when you receive your bike you'll be amazed that it is almost put together for you, just pop on the front wheel, handlebars and seat. Only takes a couple minutes. Now with that being said, I would highly recommend you take it to your bike shop to have them look over everything to make sure it's up to snuff and to do a proper fitting for you, that's very important!
You should expect to pay anywhere from $50-100 depending on where you are and how many bike shops are competing for your business. Hard to answer your second question because I don't know what bike you're looking at. What I can say is that the bikes are equal to what you'll pay more for at a bike shop. If you tell me specifically which model you're looking at I'd be able to look it up and give you my opinion on it.
