Why can't I easily cancel my account on your website?

How can I cancel my order?
I paid for 1 week as a gift to a friend. When they pick their week will they have to buy the next week? I assume they have to give you a credit card before shipping the gift. Do they have to cancel immediately once they receive the gift to avoid being charged for the next week?
Are there choices of meals when I order? Will I know the exact time or meal will arrive?
How easy is it to cancel if you do not like the food. I am scared of trying cause they might make me pay forever.
