I am interested in the green plan here. Can you explain how it works? And can you also confirm if the bank is truly eco friendly?

Well, first of all the big sign that the bank is striving to become more conscious and sustainable is that they are operating only online. They don't have any offline offices at all. Which means they don't produce any type of waste, or do unnecessary paperwork and whatnot.
It is not enough for you eh? Then they offer you to plant a tree for each €100 you spend. So if you are a big spender then you are capable of recovering the forest.
It's a good initiative tbh and more people should join it.

It's easy. As soon as you spend €100 the bank is obliged to plant a tree. And you can watch the results of it in the app if I'm not mistaken.
So it's not just a marketing move for them, they are actually an eco-friendly company. It's quite cool isn't it?!

The Easy Green plan is designed for eco-conscious individuals. With this plan, bunq will plant a tree for every 100€ spent using bunq Green Card, the metal card. Additionally, you can read the blog to see updates. You will also receive emails. As for the bank's eco-friendliness, bunq has made a commitment to sustainable banking practices. The company is 100% carbon neutral and uses renewable energy to power its servers. Additionally, bunq invests in green initiatives and supports sustainable projects around the world.
