I only perchased American designer's bags. They were authentic. I am sure Bottega bags are real also. Gilt has too much exposure to sell knock off. Bottega would be suing them.

They are all originals. They don't sell knock offs.

I wouldn't know. I only attempted to purchase towels from them. They never showed up. I was given information to indicate that FedEx lost the order. FedEx said they never even had record of a shipment. Gilt did give me a full refund, but I wanted the towels. Based on company reviews, I won't be attempting any future purchases. Be very careful!

I do wonder this too. I bought a Nancy Gonzales crocodile handbag on gilt and the bag I received had no indication anywhere on the bag that it was really genuine. I have another bag from NG that I got from Saks and it did indeed have a label and cards included to indicate authenticity. I sincerely question anything Gilt offers.

My complaint with Gilt was not about authentication of designers goods.so I would not be the right person to comment.
