Glassdoor have claimed to me that "we are a third-party company. This means, we do not recruit on behalf of companies, nor do we have information regarding any contact or application you may have submitted" If this is the case what contact do they have with the organisation who is recruiting?

They are primarily a data collecting org. Building and selling databases for online marketing and probably collecting fees for any placements generated too. Either way, they make money selling us... where's our cut?
