It is a legit site. I have made a couple of purchases. Any material type items have been junk. I was satisfied with the purchase of a voucher for a discount to a local attraction. Never buy any hotel or vacations. If you read the reviews you will find they a sub-standard, at best, a rip off. Always read the reviews for anything you purchase. Most have complaints of low quality. Bottom line, read reviews and/or do a search before purchasing anything from the. I personally will not buy anything but a local attraction voucher that DOES NOT have assigned seating. The seating offered is in the worst area of the event.

Absolutely not. This website is a scam. Their customer service is a joke and none of them try to even work with you if theres an issue. They will try everything and give you multiple different stories on why you cant get a refund even if its not in the fine print. Theyre pretty legit until you want your money back then they are not at all willing to work with you.

It depends on what you buy from them. I have purchased some items and they were useless. For example, I purchased the 72 pack of batteries and only 6 worked when I tested them with a battery testor.

It is legit, I've always received my items on time, however I don't recommend buying anything fragile. I bought a lamp for my dad for Christmas and it arrived in pieces with no foam or packaging to prevent it from getting damaged. Groupon refused to refund me, exhange the product or even give me groupon credit. Shop with caution!

Customer service is great? Lucky you to have had such a good experience. I've been waiting 2 months for something I've ordered now and there's still no sign of it and still they won't give me a refund. You get the same lame response from them about waiting 10 days for a resolution but I've had 3 of those responses now. I would never use them again! I think they're dodgy. All you have to do is look at Twitter or Facebook and read all the comments from people waiting for their goods and getting nowhere. Avoid them if I were you!

Ok, Groupon IS a VERY legit site. Nearly all the items are warrantied against shipping damage and manufacturing defects. So buying products on Groupon is fine, although, most items you can find cheaper else where.
The Services on Groupon are the best deals around, BUT, you must be very cautious about the service. Sometimes the shop, or service may not be available anymore. Also, pay attention to the expiration date on services. Otherwise there's no comparison to the great service deals available.
Hotels and resorts are similar to the services bUT you may be even more vigilant about dates, VACANCIES, and expiration. You should contact the hotel or resort and ask if rooms are available on the dates you want before you buy Groupon.

The first purchase I made was for the beauty bar. I tried to call the number on the groupon and it was some ladies apartment and personal line. So then they refund me and I purchase a hotel room. Was it the right place? No! When I went they said they were not affiliated with the groupon! I tried to reach out to groupon they told me it was out of their hands.

I bought a power washing service and thought I was within the 30 miles area... I am 32 miles. Now I cannot get vendor to honor Groupon even offering extra money and Groupon will not give me a credit. Yes, Groupon is both safe and legit. I have been using Groupon for many years now and have mostly positive experiences. The coupons/vouchers are the best purchases because you get them immediately by email. Other products you have to wait for and depending on the mail system, they could take several weeks. But overall, i am very happy with Groupon.

Groupon is legit, however I wouldn't trust them to order products. I ordered three things from them that never arrived. I asked for a refund and they only gave me partial credit. Customer service is awful. It's very difficult to get ahold of anyone, and you're lucky if you do.

Yes. I've only had two restaurant experiences. One was excellent and the other, even though there was some miscommunication and what I believe was lack of cooperation with Groupon guidelines on the restaurant owner's part, with some perserverance I did receive the 50 discount promised and no compromise on the food (that I know of, if you know what I mean).

I have never had a bad experience with Groupon but you MUST read the fine print. Also, go to the website of the company for which you're buying a Groupon to make sure you like the restaurant, service, goods, etc. and check out the location on Google maps - you don't want to end up in a dicey area if you want a luxurious spa. Use common sense and you'll be pleased.

Is! You can get very good deals! BUT - you must read EVERYTHING - the fine print so to speak. Many times I have read the details and realized I didn't like the restrictions and did not buy. Other times, it was the perfect purchase and outstanding benefit.

It's a legit site but for deals on services, you are better off calling the business to see if they will match their deal on groupon & read Everything including the fine print on the deal before purchasing. If you buy something by mistake, you have 3 days to get credit.

Beware, Groupon keeps 40 to 50% of everything purchased on Groupon unless you are Starbucks or jamba juice or some big chain retailer.

1. I have done goid count od purchases on Groupon India and have been always satisfied. As far as deals are concerned, I had mised experience but that had more to do with individual deal providing merchant. Things have been faur with groupon.
2. Never had any issue with payment. I always chose online payment and it had been always safe.
3. Customer service was always satisfactory.
