on 8/29/15LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time.
Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time.
For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food.
Hope you've managed to eat something by now.
You can't cancel an order with Grubhub I tried when I saw the delivery time was going to be 2 hours! I ended up ordering with the restaurant directly and it arrive within 40 minutes however, I was still on the phone with Grubhub trying to cancel my order the hadn't even been made in the restaurant claim they didn't have I was never able to get from service
I called the number listed on Grub Hub site to cancel. I had put it on paypal, and worried they would process it anyway... based on a review I had seen on this site where it had happened to someone. No charges went to PayPal, but then I had threatened to press charges if that happened.
It's usually best to call the restaurant you ordered from. But then that beats the purpose of using the app and the claim in their TV commercials that you don't have to talk to anybody. Sometimes, it's best to do things the old fashioned way. I just usually call the place or use good places that accept orders online. Hope everything turned out ok.
Wow, two hours? You should message them and tell them why you wish to cancel the order. Unless you live in uncharted territory, two hours for delivery is unacceptable. You can also call them at 1-877-585-1085, but if you contact them in writing they are more likely to give you free grub coupon credit in the amount of $5-$25 for your next order. They haven't been giving out these coupon credits that to make up for bad orders as of recently. Might as well try though. Good luck.
