They are a rip-off scam artist. Dimitri's warehouse more resembles a recycling landfill sorting station.
First experience I had involved vintage vinyl and New in blister packaged Hot Wheels.
Picked those items up. No issues, negotiated a price to buy the remaining Hot Wheels at a reduced price we both agreed too.
Estimated 250 additional packages at. XX per package.
Halfway through me condensing the items we negotiated he changes his mind.
He stated someone may pick up the few that did sell.
I agreed we mutually decided the following week we would complete the sale.
That week he had scores of AVR stereo receivers, sound bars etc.
The listings looked sketchy with only one photo per receiver? FRONT FACING, listing only stated manufacturer. I called to inquire about their conditions. Dimitri stated they all worked! HE DID NOT SELL JUNK.
I purchased 8 receivers, a Klipsch 10" powered sub woofer and a virtually indestructible EcoXGear Boulder speaker.
When I arrived to pick up my lots I had won, he was very congenial in our conversation.
Then I was rushed into the recycling center! Excuse me warehouse where my booty was all stacked on edge in a corner by the loading dock door.
His henchman Sam believe was his name helped load my treasures on a rickety rolling cart placing the Klipsch powered sub-woofer on the top rack. Out the door and 1/3 of the way through the trash littered parking lot a wheel got caught on some debris.
I was pulling, Sam was pushing stubbed a wheel on debris down comes the Klipsch sub, bouncing off the parking lot.
By now I've noticed not one unit ranging from a Marantz SR6012, Onkyo TX-NR828 to a Pioneer SC-LX701 none had cords.
Then on to a pair of Onkyo TX-NR636 receivers that had cords. My night of testing once I got cords and remotes for all of the units got very interesting.
One by one I excitedly plugged them in waiting for the ambient glow of the dial, looking forward to putting each through its set up paces. You see I had already computed my profit margin even factoring in the $279.82 I paid for OEM remotes.
Every unit failed to turn on with the exception of one Onkyo TX-NR636 that put on an amazing display of sparks then a cloud of smoke that rivaled a nuclear mushroom cloud all in the confines of my kitchen bar area.
My significant other failed to see my humor.
The Solis I got from my $355.71 investment compounded by $279.82 for accessories was one working unit. Of the 11 items below only
The lowly Pioneer VSX-44 works. Which in comparable condition ironically retails for $44.00 on EBay. Far be it for me to complain about the 117 mile drive each way or the fact that one of the receivers was so damaged the back speaker connections were over 60% missing as if someone took a saws all and sheared them off.
Needless to say I didn't get the rest of the hot wheels due to the simple fact I was livid over this transaction. Then after regaining my composure no response!
