Why are they billing when all cost is covered by Medicare and secondary insurance BC/BS? Does medicare knows about this companies performance?

Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

If you live in the real world, NO insurance company will pay the full price for oxygen concentrators... which leaves the out-of-pocket and co-payments up to the patient. Take a look at the outrageous amounts that LinCare charges per unit to the insurance company... upwards of $500.00 a MONTH.

Yes. Both BCBS and Medicare are aware of the situation. In my case, Lincare has continued to bill From October thru March now having been informed of the billing error. They are most definitely a fraudulent company seeking to rip off the insurance companies and the customers/patients.

Lincare charges what the insurance, medicare or otherwise tells them to charge. The statement might say billed medicare $500 for O2 concentrator. Truth is the medicare reimbursement is actually only $88 for an O2 concentrator.
