on 10/9/17Great because we have less neighbors nearby so the area covered is greater due to starting nearby and spreading out until they contact the number requested. Populated cities will have smaller radius for same number of amber alerts.
I lost two of my brindle Plott hounds 4 days ago.
I put posts everywhere that I could think of... Through Facebook groups, "Lost my doggie" and "Paw Boost". Within 3 days thanks to "lostmydoggie" and "pawboost" I had both my girls back and I am out in the country... So yes absolutely, all it takes is people with kind hearts keeping their eyes open and caring enough to take the next step of letting somebody know, rather than just driving by and seeing a poor pup lost and alone and blowing it off. If it wasn't for the kindness of the people at "lost my doggie" I would never have found my girl because she had gotten separated from her sister who I'd found two days prior through "Pawboost"
I had my baby back within 3 hours of positing on here
Very effective to us since we were out in the country and the lost dog flier was shared many times, which eventually led to someone contacting us.

I wouldn't agree, l lost my Apollo on December 15th. I posted him everywhere, contacted all available resources, used all social media. It wasn't until I found out through research lostmydoggie.com that he was brought home. Their amber alert called brought Apollo home to his family 15 minutes after l signed him up on their website. Thank you so very much to all of you who has done the work behind the scene to help our family find our baby. God's blessings and Happy holidays, the Lubin"s
I would NOT recommend it! If they can't find a dog in the city! I doubt they can find one in the country.
