Thanks for answer Brian. That's sad if a # is gone it is prolly gone How do we know if a company is solvent enough to park with them? All seem too new

This is a great question, Bob. An indirect answer to your question is if a service provider does decide to close their doors, you are notified in advance and can port your number to a new service provider. How to determine if they are solvent enough might be to see which carriers they work with. Or, you can read reviews online for others that may have had great success with the company.
