Answer:

Depending how your definition of a "legit company" it's either that or none of the above. It's not a scam, though. We (the community of TheTopTens) don't ask you for money or anything if you want to join. The website needs to know your email, but it doesn't expose you or anything. Long story short, it's a legit company.
