My son and 4 friends took an Uber for 3.5 miles in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The driver said it would cost at least $32.00. I asked him and he said probably $35.00. He did not say that there was going to be a 5.2% surge applied or we would have gotten out and found a different means of transportation. He drove in circles and we were stuck in traffic. It took 44 minutes to get to the destination. Can he appeal the amount he was charged? The driver told him he could appeal. How do we do this?
