Why is that you don't post negative reviews or even respond to the author of such a review. I have rented numerous houses through your program, have submitted several positive reviews. However about 4 weeks ago I had a terrible experience, sent in a review and never heard a word back and the review never was posted. If I don't hear back from this inquiry I will have to assume you don't care about your customers and are not interest in any more repeat business from me.

VRBO will not help anymore with anything. Homeaway bought them and there is no personal contact with owners anymore until they pay through the site. I don't know about negative reviews. Never see any. If there was a way to avoid VRBO and Someway I would do it; but they have the corner on the VACA rental market now.

Vrbo is a scam, rent at your own risk. Use a reputable vacation broker, even if it cost more. They cares about their customers

Hi Greg I am assuming that part of the questions you have are about the negative review I left about vrbo.Com and the incredibly uncaring staff they have. I have advertised my property on this site for over five years and about two years ago the money making turned on for vrbo.com. They want to handle your rental with their credit cards and booking your property with absolutely no coverage for the owners of these properties. There is no protection for homeowners. I told them they need to stick to marketing and stop trying to run our rentals.

Dont trust VRBO. They suck when it comes to customer service.

I had a very negative experience on vrbo where the owner said we brought our dog. We did not and she even met us at the unit and saw our empty car and entire family. She kept our security deposit of $750. Vrbo would do nothing about it. She refused to answer my questions to substantiate that high cost of $750 plus cleaning fees. This was vrbo 240500.

Not sure why they haven't posted your negative review. I have had people stay in my cabins & not have a single complaint. Then a month or 2 later they send me an email with a whole list of complaints & tell me that if I don't give them a refund, they will write a negative review. I didn't give them a refund & the negative review is still being shown on my property dropping my ratings.

If you think VRBO & Home Away are bad now, wait until they get their property management business going which will probably be within the next year. They have no concern for renters who are not their customers, but they also have no concern for owners who are their customers.

My suggestion is to go to Flip Key or Vacation HOME Rentals, NOT Vacation Rentals which is another company owned by Home Away/VRBO.
