on 12/2/15I believe u r due a refund
YES. ALMOST EVERY STORE O DEAL WITH MAKES ADJUSTMENTS!~! GOOD LUCK!
If you have your receipt I believe they would give you the difference in price
Yep. http://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/31 says you're eligible Contact Walmart.com Customer Care at 1.800.966.6546 to receive an adjustment for the price difference. Use a speaker phone to avoid a sore neck to cope with the WalMart user-hostile bureaucracy.
LOOKS LIKE YOU DIDENT ASK WALMART ABOUT A REFUND, ASK THEM, YOU PURCHESD THE MASHINE. AT THE REGULAR PRICE, YOU SHOULD HAVE ASK. IF THERE WOULD BE A DISCOUNT ON THIS MASINE, THEN YOU WAIT FOR AN ANSWER, IF THE SAID YES THERE WOULD BE A DISCOUNT. YOU SHOULD HAVE WAITED,, IF THE WOULD HAVE SAID NO. NO DISCOUNT, THEN I BELIEVE YOU GET A DISCOUNT ON YOUR MASHINE, TALK TO THEM. COSTUMER SERVICE DOES NOT ALWAYS HAVE THE ANSWERS, GO TO THE HEAD OF THE COMP.
I think it might take some work, but it's possible. I'd forgo the phone calls, and either write an e-mail or in go person. If it was me, I'd go to the service desk first, explain the situation. I find the nicer you are, they respond in kind. If you don't get results, then try e-mailing them. Like I said, it'll take some work and determination. But I do believe they'll honor it. Good luck may the force be w you!
As long as you still have your receipt, which is important to keep, especially if a situation like this crops up, I would take the new advertised price and your item, plus the receipt for it, and speak to the store manager about the price difference-if they are good about honoring the price difference, then you should get the refund for the difference-no promises about it-this is Wal Mart we are talking about here, and they have been known to be dumbasses about anything to do with customer service, product quality disputes, etc.-but there is nothing wrong with trying-good luck
I agree with the response to take it back for a refund then purchase one on sale. The refund difference is too old to ensure that you will get one.
Felix is right. If you have your receipt you will get back what you paid not the sake price.
Ginger. Good question. As long as you have your receipt you should get back what you paid for it at the time of purchase, without that then you will get back the sale price. I have never came across this problem because i always have my receipt. Hope this helps!
No refund diff is due but within 90 days take back for refund. Dont volunteer any info to them which they will only ask if its defective anyway and get refund and buy one on sale by going thru the checkout isle instead of thru customer service counter
If you have the receipt you could call a super Walmart and talk to the manager. You would probably have to take in the receipt with the machine and demand a refund or you could do a return then go rebuy it at a cheaper price. Hope this helps good luck :)
They could offer you a refund
First, this is for walmart.com not walmart so consider you are NOT actually dealing with Walmart here. Second, during the Black Friday season they do not price match at ALL EVER. Once the policy is back to normal however you should know they NEVER, EVER price match to the store price. Now if you purchased it on Walmart.com not on any special and it is lower priced ON Walmart.com and within your return window, and not an exception (there are many exceptions like computers, phones, gaming systems, etc. YOU SHOULD be able to get a price reduction on your item or a 'rollback' price. They do this they claim as a courtesy for their customers. THE REAL reason they do it however is they KNOW you can return it and they will pay shipping and then you can take your money, keep some of it, and buy a brand new one cheaper. :)
I work at my local Walmart, and in the Pickup center. If you picked up and paid for the item prior to the price change they won't automatically adjust the price. If you were to bring it in with your receipt, I don't see why customer service wouldn't refund and give back the money you would have saved if you ordered it later. If you had bought it and not yet picked it up when the price was reduced, it should automatically adjust. Either way you can get your money back.
It is always very annoying to make a purchase and then find the same item from the same company for less a short time later. I am afraid that is the way the world turns and this does happen with probably every retailer out there.
You can ask for a refund of the difference. I would not count on getting it.
In most stores the time limit is within 30 days but I don't know about Walmart for sure. I think if they are still selling that item it might be worth a try! I have never had a problem with Walmart returns if they have no policy against the transaction
Yes they should refund you the difference. All that you have to do is to bring them the receipt, but I'm not mistaken it's only for 30 days not 60. Good luck
My money was refunded right away after contacting walmart online.
Sorry, you bought it before the price drop. Walmart does not ow you a refund.
They will always give a full refund, with a receipt.
Our Walmart said 30 days from date of purchase. With receipt in hand. Just did this my self. Big well kept secret. * Most stores do this now. When in doubt call the store you purchased at, and ask. All they can say is no. Got my new Xbox for black Friday pricing And didn't even get trampled in the process. Got it the week before. It allows you to buy with more confidence that your not getting taken on the price. They are also good at price matching competitors.
Wow,, i am not sure, time limit is stretching it, the item went on sale like 60 days after your purchase. All you can do is ask. Walmart may feel like giving it back but i would not bet on it. They can be very reasonable, all you can do is try...
As all the folks (above) have indicated - IF you have the receipt, you can take it back, get a refund, purchase a new one, or perhaps, if it is within 30 days, they could give you a refund but only if you have the receipt. If you do not have your original receipt - all you could do is return machine & get a refund for the current (sale) price.
I am not affiliated with Wal-Mart, except as a consumer. I would suggest you go back to store with receipt, and ask for credit under matching price program. Otherwise only other option is to return original for store credit, then purchase new item using credit.
Take it back for a tefund, anf then buy the one on sale
Do they have "Price Match" protection? For how long. 30 or 60 days? Be fair, when we buy a new car but most retailers drop prices on Sept. Because new model cars are coming out, Can we go to car dealer to ask for refund? I guess it is not.
I used to work at Wal-Mart and the policy was 15 to 30 days from the purchase date they would give you the difference
Why would you think walmart owes you a refund? If the product you purchased goes on sale within 30 days of your purchase date walmart will give you the difference except for black Friday sales, but no they won't refund your money, not sure why you would even think your due a refund. Double check at the service desk because laws change from state to state. You will need your receipt to be pro rated the difference.
I have worked retail all my life and best thing i can say is call and find out but i dont think so sorry.
Unfortunately most stores will only honor a sale if it's within a week of sale. You can call corporate, but I know other stores that will give you the sale if you buy within a week of the sale price. Good luck
For any large purchase like this at Walmart or Best Buy, or similar places, I use Freeshipping.com. First, you get 10% rebate on what you paid. Then, they give you the price difference if you find a lower price anywhere in the next 90 days. The $12.99 monthly membership is well worth it.
I do believe there is a two week period - not any more than that. Sorry!
2 months is a long time, the lower price could be a holiday price. I really don't think a refund is due.
Walmart will only do that if it is within 7 days of the date of purchase.
I don't see how if now they are in sale... I hope I'm wrong!
The policy was no match after 14 days but I believe that was dropped in late 2014 or early 2015. It is always up to the store manager. However, I doubt you will get a refund after 60 days. Certainly not without a receipt. Most retailers drop prices November thru January. It just happened to me with another retailer. Prices drop during this time of year.
