Yep, pretty much. Conditions suh as choice of assets, leverage, commissions are considered to be the most essential part for trader, so, if you can't go along with them, then yu won't stay with XS.
I'm easily getting on with 'em. I trade major Fx pairs, and 1:500 leevrage is more than enough.

Daily choice? What does it mean exactly?

Traders usually don't choose what assets to trade daily. They pick the ones that thye like the most and trade them on a regular basis.

I for instance trade a couple of GBP major pairs and sometimes gold or some stocks depending on the situation on the market.

I know that some traders trade only one asset for several years. It's great to have multiple asset classes at XS. That will give you the necessary room for experiment in the beginning.

I only trade currency pairs, bro. I'm not interested anything else. As rule, all brokers have best conditions for trading currencies. And this broker is no exception.
In general I recommend currency pairs. You can make money trading them
