This should be the true name. They are wrong a lot... today for High Point, North Carolina they have the temperature at 84 and its bust and 90ﾟ. I see why they're ranked 28th... truly Pitiful! They are wrong today both on the TV and mobile Web.
You change every hour to try and keep up with NOT being wrong. Your site is a piece of trash and i dont know what hottie you had (talk) to the head of at&t to get your garbage on their phones, but obviously the ( talking) worked. 2 of the worst internet sites, at&t and accuweather. Should call yourselves, neverrightweather.com
If you're lucky you might pause or close all the pop-up ad windows quickly enough to get (I'm not exaggerating here, I've tested this) about 1-2 seconds worth of information scrubbed and compiled by real weather sites. Also, they sell your information as soon as you visit the site. The amount of money they must make in delivering you to others as a product and delivering your eyes to advertisers for money in comparison to the actual useful value of info you receive is like a 100,000 to 1 ratio. That's why this is at the top of my shortlist as the MOST craven site supposedly delivering a service on the internet.
I always enjoyed going on to see how much snow fell in my area in the monthly history. I go on to see how much snow we have so far this year and I was unpleasantly surprised to see you can't do that anymore :( . I hope this feature comes back...
Predicting radar image is just the wrong thing to do - especially around urban areas. Accuweather should stop at the current time, not try to predict radar images. It misleads people!
I would have edited my last review to bring my experience with AccuWeather up to date, but I couldn't find an "edit your comment" option. However, I did have to get a new phone and that meant installing the latest version of AccuWeather's app. I don't mind the ads, you get what you pay for and since it's free, I can't complain. What I can say is this new version is terrible! Instead of plainly showing the date, time, temp, etc, the page now resembles the circular configuration reminiscent of the precipitation page, making it difficult to know exactly what's going on at a glance. I have no idea what the designers were thinking when they decided it was a good idea to make this change. The other pages are just as bad and complicated to comprehend. Even AccuWeather admits to having issues... like there's no widget and the weather no longer persistantly displays the current conditions near the toolbar or on the home page. AccuWeather's response to these problems are "We're working on it". Initially, thinking there could be a problem on my end, I installed it three times and three times I deleted it. It makes no sense having to go to the website to check on the current conditions and what's in store for the future. My phone came with a weather application already installed and there are many more choices out there. Contacting AccuWeather about it was worthless. All I got in response to the email I sent was "this is the only version available" and where I could find and install the application. As technically challenged as I am, even I know you have to go to the Apple Play Store or the Google Play Store to find it. Bye-bye, AccuWeather... it was nice while it lasted. I'm hoping to locate the web page I'd mentioned previously to find out if I can still install one of the older versions.
I could become a weatherman easily it might snow it might not snow there's a winter storm watch or maybe there isn't there's a 50/50 chance of snow. I mean really who can't be a weatherman all they do is flip a coin and get paid for it f****** sickening
I liked accu weather pretty well until I opened the app today to see Obama pop up on my screen telling me to vote. I don't appreciate when companies become political. I think I'll look for a different weather app. Thanks for letting me know that you support the democrat agenda. I don't. Keep your politics to yourself.
I love this app but very disappointed that you now can only keep 5 towns or cities on the app whereas previously one could keep a larger number. We travel a lot to different places so to having to keep on entering towns and cities over and over again is a pain.
Dumbest people around. 2 years ago, AW eliminated Surface Analysis (frontal maps), now average temp on their monthly forecast maps, etc. Someone there thinks that stupid people need simple, stupid weather info and more ads to entertain them. Go to Intellicast for REAL weather!
I have submitted many concerns about covering the midwest. (Very Poor). Every time I go to the channel 361 on Direct TV it seems to always be showing either the east or west coast. I live in Kansas City and you might get 10 seconds on the Midwest. This stinks! I have been in severe weather warning and even in a "tornado warning" and there was absolutely no coverage for my area to be found! Get better meteorologists also and get rid of that Bloomberg sounding guy. He's horrible. I'm sorry but I've been using 362 weather on Direct TV. They even have local weather option. Midwest, midwest, midwest!
I have been so disappointed with Accu Weather. Direct TV offers it with their basic package and I do not like it all. I was used to the Weather Channel where they send their forecasters out into the field to report live from current weather situations. I find video of weather situations amazing. I do not like watching someone standing in front of a busy weather map all day and night which is pretty much all Accu Weather does. It is a waste of a channel for me.
Yet another example of some marketer full or themselves and the primacy of their overinflated opinion of their greatness. The newest app is so bad it is a shell of its former self. Only 10 locations. No portrait mode. Annoying day bar on fight. No 3 day graph of temperature and rain. Nice way to f— up a good, maybe a great tool. Congrats.
Allow to load. The app had some kind if future weather radar map. It was so slow to load and inaccurate. Before 2020. Update it was great. Finally deleted app. Went with weatherbug.
To many times forecast is wrong, don't count on what they say, yesterday forecast for tomorrow was cloudy and 83 today nothing but rain and high humidity, to many times wrong for me.
It will say one thing but change days before every week threw every month all this summer. 8-20-2020. Tucson az
Accuweather is now clouded with so many advertisements it is not worth spending time on. Many of these are stratigically placed to cause accidental access and more frustration and waste of time. This review is submited as termination of wasting time on you.
I enjoyed this app until the 2020 update. I uninstalled it. It sucks so bad. The developers screwed up on this one! Thanks for ruining a good thing!
