WHEN MY CHECK DEPOSITED I WENT TO ATM AND TRIED TO WITHDRAW MONEY AND MY PIN WAS ALREADY CHANGED, SO I WENT TO MY CAR AND GOT ONLINE AND CHANGED MY PIN AGAIN, BY THIS TIME MY CARD STILL DID NOT WORK BECAUSE OF THE WRONG PIN BEING USED TO MANY TIMES. SO THE NEXT MORNING I CALLED THE COMPANY AS SOON AS THEY OPENED AND THEY TOLD ME I HAD ALREADY USED MY CARD AND I HAD ONE MORE TIME FOR THAT DAY TO USE MY CARD. I EXPLAINED TO THEM I DID NOT USE MY CARD ANY THAT MORNING AND I NEEDED TO CHANGE MY PIN, SO THEY INFORMED ME TO CHANGE MY PIN, AND I DID AND HAD TO HURRY AND LEAVE WORK TO WITHDRAW MY CASH OFF MY CARD, BECAUSE SOMEONE WAS OBVISOULY CHANGING MY NUMBER. THE ATM ONLY LET ME TAKE OFF 600 AND I HAD 148 LEFT AND COULD NOT GET ANYMORE DUE TO EXCEEDING MY LIMIT FOR THAT DAY. I WENT TO THE ATM THAT MORNING AND MY PIN WAS CHANGED AGAIN. I WENT TO WORK CALLED THE CARD CHANGED MY PIN AGAIN SO I COULD GET INTO MY ACCOUNT AND MY BALANCE WAS 5. I CALLED THE COMANY AND FILED AN DISPUTE ON THE 2ND OF AUGUST FOR MY 100 THAT SOMEONE HAD TRANSFERED FROM MY ACCOUNT TO THEIR ACCOUNT, I HAD THE PAPERS FAXED OVER ASAP, FILLED THEM OUT AND FAXED THEM BACK, I CALLED EVERY DAY FOR AN UPDATE. AND WAS TOLD I COULD NOT TALK TO THE DISPUTE TEAM. ON THE 15TH OF AUGUST I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME MY DISPUTE WAS DENIED AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR A LETTER IN THE MAIL TELLING ME WHY. I ASKED THE GUY WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT WHEN I HAD HIM ON THE PHONE AND HE COULD JUST TELL ME AND HE SAID WHEN I GET THE LETTER AND IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS TO CONTACT THEM BACK. THIS IS THE VERY REASON WHY HACKERS GET AWAY WITH THE WRONG THEY DO AND PEOPL LIKE ME SUFFER. My card was compromised on Sunday June 30th when I was immediately notified from The Establishment I was at like that my card was declined I called AchieveCard but they were closed on Monday morning I called AchieveCard and filed a claim I submitted customer statement of dispute transaction form to them on July 3rd I followed up on that Friday the 5th Monday the 8th and every day since except on Sunday today is July 15th I have spoken to customer service and they have informed me that they never received my dispute transaction form which I have the FAX confirmation 4 not only that I have been in communication with achieve card like I said almost every day that they're open to three times a day not only for this matter but because I've also been trying to obtain the money that I have left on my achieve card I was sick on July 9th and admitted to the hospital with pneumonia even on my hospital bed I was making phone calls to AchieveCard because I was also in the process of moving and needed access to my funds upon my discharge but AchieveCard representative stated that I will be able to withdraw $1,000 at a bank teller using the debit option and that I can use my ATM to obtain $500 out of my account using two transactions one for $300 and the other for the remaining balance of $200 which I was able to do I was able to withdraw $300 out of one ATM and then another $300 out of the ATM which made me reach my daily limit for ATM transactions. However I was told I can go to the teller inside any Bank I attempted to do so I went to Wells Fargo Bank of America Citibank Chase Bank of the West Golden 1 Credit Union US Bank I even attempted to go to Walmart Money Center all the banks stated that they do not have debit option for cash advancements that they have to run it as it comes up which is as a credit so I was not able to withdraw out $1,000 in which I had needed at the time I had to wait the next day to take out another $600 I have nickel-and-dime my account in order to get all the money out and every time I do it has cost me $3 for the ATM transaction and $2.25 charge from achieve card for the ATM transactions this entire situation has been unfair unprofessional and I feel like I've been a victim multiple times within this case. AchieveCard used to be a really great company I have been with this company for over 6 years maybe even the last 8 years and I never had so many problems I would like to put together a class action lawsuit if anybody is interested in doing so with me let's connect and make this happen because there are a lot of unfair things happening here and we are being charged for it and they need to pay for the stress the financial hardship as calls for me and my children and I'm sure a lot of other people as well
I've actually been a real customer for the past year and a half and let me be the one to give you the heads up: This is hands-down the WORST prepaid card service that you can ever find. I'll explain why in exact detail right now. If you don't believe me and plan on going for AChievecard, I feel sorry for you for wasting your time and raising stress levels for the experiences you are about to encounter. I am about to terminate my account next week.
Let's start.
1.) There is a $10 maintenance fee.
2.) There is a $1 fee every single time you put in your pin number.
3.) The customer service line is terrible because
A) You need to wait at least an hour before you speak to anyone about ANY simple question.
B) When you ask to speak to a supervisor, she is just as helpful as the rookie customer service rep you just spoke with
4.) They are CHEAP and stingy
A) The "auctions" that they offer are products that you can find for $5 at Marshall's OR at the Dollar Tree. Don't let that be the incentive for why you open an account there. It's NOTHING special WHAT-SO-EVER. $4 headphones, Old clearance Barbies, like what kind of business is this, seriously?
B) The customer service line is so long because they are too cheap to invest in hiring more employees
C) When my direct deposit got sent back to my employer, and I was unable to contact them for 4 days due to the ONE HOUR+ Wait time, all they did was offer me a ONE MONTH COURTESY of no maintenance fee. I probably wouldn't even be happy with 6 months free if they offered it to me with all the hassles I went through. $10 definitely DOES NOT cover it.
D) Did I mention there is a $10 maintenance fee PLUS $1 every time you use your card as a debit? And a $2.50 fee charge by them PLUS what the ATM charges for withdrawals? Rediculous.
5) There is a 20 load limit per 30 consecutive days. This includes both direct deposits and green dot loads. So dumb. SO SO DUMB.
This was why my direct deposit got sent back to my employer and I was left without money for a few days. They took 3 days JUST TO send it back to my employer, and I had to wait an additional 24 hours AFTER the employer decided to send it back to me to arrive in my Achievecard account
