In expanding to a secondary location we decided to go entirely online and purchase used to ease budgets. Before I go into some of the things I didn't like about acme, everything arrived on-time and in very good to great condition. From the other vendors we used, they are much more streamlined and reliable. That being said, there are a few things that would have made our experience better. Firstly, when buying multiple quantities on the website, it would send the price up-- and if we needed to purchase additional units in the following week, we would have to typically pay the increased price. Second, I would have preferred to have been able to talk with a person on the phone quicker than a 10 minute hold time. YES- they're chat is helpful and quick, however it's just not my style. Finally, keep in mind that there is no install option or training service. Once arrived, it was all up to us to get it running- which was fine, but different from what we were used to with others.
When opening a new location we were faced with the task of purchasing a new large scale capacity centrifuge. We ended up purchasing one off of eBay and of course within the first month it stopped working leaving us out about $15,000. We searched for a repair solution and saw an Acme Revival ad. Although tedious to send it in to them, they had it repaired in 3 days and back to us within 5. It actually gives me hope that we have this kind of lower cost protection when the happens again. Won't be on eBay anytime soon though.
I am an elderly lady that was able to place order online but had difficulty getting it out of the box and installed. I understand now that installation service are not something they offer. Had I known that up-front I do not think I would have made the purchase.
Upon having an emergency breakdown of a conveyor at one of our facilities, we linked the problem to an old controller made by GE from 1994 (yes we were still using it). In desperate need of repair, we were unable to source the part as it was no longer serviced or supported by GE. Did a google search. Found Acme. They had it back to use in a week. What would have been a month of downtime to purchase a new controller and install, we had back up and running in one week. Literally saved our year.
I accidentally ordered the wrong x-ray sensor for our dental clinic that runs on Dexis imaging software thinking it would sync up. I was able to initiate and get a return label all within the same day which they even paid for, despite it being our fault for not checking if the sensor would work prior to ordering.
Paid for a $3000 sterilizer from them on Sept 22. Got confirmation that the sterilizer was in the queue to be shipped and would get it between September 28 and October7. After 8 emails and numerous empty promises that it was being sent out the next day the order was cancelled BY THEM with no satisfactory explanation. So three weeks have gone by during which procedures have been cancelled and I have to find another sterilizer somewhere. Very untrustworthy company. I would never order anything from them
ACME excelled in repairing a burnt relay controller that had suffered extensive damage. The plastic housing was fractured in multiple spots, yet they skillfully reconstructed it, seamlessly rejoining the broken sections and reinforcing the internal supports. Their craftsmanship was so meticulous that one would hardly discern any repair work had been done. ACME's proficiency in restoring the controller underscores their expertise and dedication to quality service.
By far the best used equipment vendor we've bought from. Richard and his team made sure our custom project was done in the timeframe we required— which was perhaps even reasonable! They went above and beyond and the quality of each unit is beyond what we thought possible.
Stopped by to pick up a circuit board they repaired for my back-up residential generator. It was clear they weren't expecting the public... and signs were pasted allover "not open to general public" but they welcomed me just fine and showed me the work they had done. Got home and installed the same day to find out issue was resolved.
Fixed our RFID readers, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and expertise. Their prompt service minimized operational disruption, solidifying their commitment to customer satisfaction. We were highly impressed and look forward to future collaborations with Acme Revival. Their reliability and proficiency make them a trusted partner for expedient and reliable repairs.
Submitted repair request to have our Centrifuge re-done. Unit was throwing an error and always at the worst times. They repaired it which was great but was more impressed how it looks physically coming back to us. Shiny and with new paint and decals and such.
They repaired a ultrasonic cleaner circuit board yesterday and did a great job. The OEM wanted hundreds for a new one. Had this one repaired with them for $140. They offered to ship it back but I just picked it up and they were all friendly.
Efficient service for my Activator IV EZ-Grip. Despite one device not being covered under warranty, the team promptly addressed the malfunction. The device now engagesflawlessly and performs its function without a hitch. The repair was quick, and the staff was responsive. While not covered, the fix was reasonably priced. My only suggestion is to clarify warranty terms upfront. Overall, satisfied with the outcome and would recommend their service.
The repair of our industrial robot controller exceeded the anticipated timeline, yet the quality of work remained commendable. Despite the delay, their attention to detail and expertise ensured a thorough and precise restoration. This prolonged process underscored their commitment to delivering excellence, despite initial setbacks. The controller now operates effectively, meeting production demands with enhanced reliability and accuracy. This experience highlighted the significance of skilled technicians and meticulous maintenance in sustaining optimal industrial equipment performance.
After 8 years, our 5810R stopped working leaving us high and dry in our busy season. Our options included spending $20k on a new one from Eppendorf, or repairing it. Came across Acme Revival from an internet search and we're glad we did. The whole process was super simple and the results were even better. Not even sure how they did it, but the inside of the rotor chamber is practically brand new. When we sent it in, it was rusted and covered in 8 years of gunk and grime. The original issue (error 6 I think?) was also resolved and calibration was performed. Overall our experience was great with this repair and if we ever need them again we'll know where to find them. Also- my technician Adrian was very helpful in explaining the process to me- just wanted to give a shout out as the kids would say
I needed 2 defibrillators with both manual and AED mode for my hospital. Acme had the Lifepak 20 in stock for less than other companies I looked at. Shipping time was speedy considering the intricate refurbishment process. I can tell they really tried to make them look "new" and they did. These have been a lifesaver for my business. Thank you Acme!
I bought a vital signs machine.after 2 weeks a received that my order was not fulfilled and canceled for device quality issues. They said since 3 days my refund is completed.until know nothing in my account.no way to reach some one by phone.by email nothing.chat.it says not available...it looks like they stoled my money.this is a crime.
Sent a Hearing Screener to them for supposedly 5 day repair. ACME sent email that they had evaluated unit and could repair for $511.00 dollars. Money was deducted from account and finally after three weeks received email that unit was repaired and being shipped. Received unit a week later with notations on shipping box that item was not repaired. Screener removed and it still has the original error. Contacted ACME through email since they won't answer phone number about returning the 511.00 dollars and emailed back that they would check on it. Almost 2 weeks now and still no reply after sending a couple more emails to them.
The thieves at Carl Zeiss wanted $3k to fix a trial lens holder that had a small crack in it. Unreal. This company did it for $250. Will write this on every review platform— they deserve all the business they can take.
Acme Revival provided commendable service in repairing our power converters. Despite a delay in shipping beyond our initial expectations, their overall service quality was good. I would consider using their services again in the future.
Answer: I just got my FDT optical machine back. Acme had it for 2 months. At first they'll hound you for payment. I mean, they'll send you a threatening email every day saying that if you don't pay there will be a stocking fee etc. After you do pay the communication STOPS. After 2 months of this nightmare I finally received my FDT back, which I was surprised by the way. The original issue untouched plus my machine broken in 3 pieces. Please do not do business with these criminals. They should be prosecuted. I should've seen other reviews. You've been warned!
