Unable to cancel subscriptions after several attempts. I happened to notice that they were still charging my credit card months later after I cancelled. When you follow steps by going to your accounts page, then cancel account, you never get an email confirmation. The following day or minutes later upon your return it shows account active again. Is there an ethics board or website to report this company's practice?

It was a great math game my little kid really loved it she loved it so much so can we get it for free cuz I don't know where my password is my husband stole it
I found charges to my card that I did not authorize from Adapted Mind- twice in one month. I did not sign up for membership, yet this site took $79.90 in total- in one month. I am not the only one complaining of this also. This is on some level a scam; as these charges are fraudulent. It's disgusting!
I have never heard of this site before in my life until I recognised a transaction from my bank account. The fraud team from my bank are on the case now! I don't even know what this is all I know is somehow they set up a recurring payment!
The actual thing is alright I still wouldn't do it again, I tried cancelling and every time it would crash on me and now I have been charged for it. This seems like a bit of a scam and they don't even give you a refund.
The customer service is awful I stayed on the phone agreeing for 1 hour for a manger or supervisor I don't recommend adopted minds to no one

I don't like this game. Its not a game its a stupid advertisement and so fun. Nah its not fun at first. When you don't use it for few days and the time is over and your card is blocked or you forgot to pay, meet this dumb thing it tries to steal money. Like 5000 rs or 66.63 USA Dollars. I am an Indian but due to down currency it is too much for us. And its adds. The worst app ever better learn from youtube or youtube kids, Cuz they teach better.
Adapted Mind isn't too bad as the other reviews. Adapted Mind gives you a free money-back guarantee and 1 month free. One minor problem though, Adapted Mind is an American website so the currency is American.
Otherwise, it is not bad at all.
I DO like this site for my daughter but I cancelled as distance learning will be starting in September. They billed me my last month and I am paid up until mid September but they cut off my access to website. Waiting for them to restore access then I will change my review!
Why have you taken my money from my account.
The site only confirms that you will hold onto the 3 digits of the card not saying you will debit me. I am going to the ombudsman. I will also go on socail media across all platforms
Tip for consumers:
Do not go on there site
I signed up a grandson at the se time I signed up for Prodigy. My grandson didn't like Adapted Mind. And I, the busy homeschooling grandma forgot about it as he adored Prodigy. Year and a half later I discover they never sent more than the first email to me. I never got reminders, reports or email reminding us to use the site. Prodigy is always giving me updates. I forgot about it. But they didn't, they have been charging me for 16 months for a site used once. I was at fault, yes. Use Prodigy.
Define they don't even tell you about how much the trial is I'm a kid and I don't trust this and I'm That Kind that likes to spend money and I'm That Kind that likes to spend money. A real scam! I want to call the police
During these difficult times with Covid, I happened upon this App in Feb 2020 and even though is $10 just for math, I decided to keep for awhile. I tutor my grandkids and knew nothing of common core. I wanted them to learn good old fashioned math and they do on here. This app has kept them ahead of the curve which is especially important now as I see regular school curriculum has been dummied down so much. I just wish that I could afford the other subjects that they offer. I hope they can offer a cost effective plan as I would def consider signing on!
This has to be a scam. If you sign up for the "free" trial it says $10 a month but they actually charge you $45. I didnt even use it past one time because it was terrible and glitchy. I cancelled the same day I signed up but recently found out that this place has been charging me $45 a month for 5 months. I am a military veteran with a fixed income and with the pandemic things are tough so when I overdrafted because they continued to take out money after I cancelled I was pretty upset. This has left me with no money and am struggling because their inadequately. Do not be reeled in by their free trial offer. There is nothing free or truthful about this site.
This seems to a fraudulent website. My daughter clicked on their advertisement in my laptop. It was two months back. Yesterday i used my credit card in the same laptop for a payment. Today i received an attempted payment to adaptdmind and they blocked my card.
I canceled my account the first day, whereas they limited play time to 15 minutes. My credit card has been charged for 4 consecutive months. When writing to customer service, they claim they do not have an account in my name. The customer service has requested my credit card account and have recharged this account under a different vendor number to avoid a block.
I signed up for the free trial to see if my daughter with ADHD would be interested in it. She ended up only seeking out the videos and watching them over and over instead of doing any learning. So I cancelled the account, but then it offers 5 months free whilst saying billing would resume on date that was just a week away? I cancelled anyway, then it says "You are on a Scholarship to AdaptedMind! YAY!" which I assume is supposed to be free, but I still tried to cancel. Then I was charged $76 AUD on 5 June, but the card I signed up with expired at the end of May, which is why I took the risk giving my card details in the first place. How are they able to still charge an expired card?

Surprising me they deduct my card this apps. Without my consent. And I found out that my 5yearld son explore this apps and automatic got my info through Google. That we never use this apps I'm not happy with this.
I called to have the service cancelled since my granddaughter no longer uses it, I called to cancel and I was assured it would be canceled. I called last month AGAIN to cancel, and assured it would be. My account was debited it again this month. There is no reason for this. My next call will be to my attorney
We've only used AdaptedMind (AM) a few times for math. My son loves it! I gave him the choice of traditional vs AM and he chose AM. I noticed he was having fun learning and then I noticed he was retaining the information. I highly recommend AM.

We tried the free trial but OMG our kids were harassed every five minutes to spend more money and it is presented in a way that makes a child feel as if they are missing out or having a bad experience because they aren't paying for more. We chose to go with a year subscription to Adventure Academy as well as a monthly subscription to Prodigy Math and we are extremely satisfied.
And why is adaptedMind the best video game for teachers around the world?! It should be among us! Not this garbage! This app should get sued for making roblox gamers like this piece of crap game that is for the K-8 graders! I hope the App gets sued ASAP!
AdaptedMind charging the subscription amount wihout open the account at least once, no notiifcations on subscription payments. From the bank transaction reference googled the number *******328 and found that its AdaptedMind is charging. I requested for refund my subscription payments. And waiting for the response.

Be carefull
My daughter just finished Kindergarten & this program is amazing for getting her ready for the next year! The life lessons are spot on, as well! Thank you for a wonderful product!
This app will be acceptable if they show clearly advertisement about payment.
Immoral business can't stay longer.
I applied because i accept 10$ per month, not 50$ per month!
My kid did not learn a thing because the teachers could not ever explain the problems in the right way and after I cancelled out of the app but it still charged me
My daughter (5) was in love with the ads from YouTube and begged me to look into doing the app. So I went on their site and almost signed up for a free trial. I had the inner feeling to Google the company before giving them my credit card info and was so glad I did because WOW. So many people saying they were incorrectly charged and it wouldn't stop. Soo I was too afraid to do it despite my daughter begging me to. I tried to call them and see if I could ask about the fraudulent charges and nobody answered. All of a sudden a few hours later someone from that number calls me back and says, "Hello, I am returning a missed call from this number." I said "I don't remember even calling (I totally forgot in that moment) but actually I was trying to sign up for your service, and just had some concerns. I just had a couple questions..." He cuts me off and says, "I was just returning a missed call." and hung up the phone. WHAT in the world?! I'd definitely stay away from this company, unfortunately, no matter how enticing their YouTube ads are! So sad! :(
