I had actually been a member for approximately 15 years. Here is what I learned. You dont need to pay to get a stripped down service, however once you do pay they automatically renew your membership until you figure out how to shut that feature off. AS a paid member with an extensive profile I could go a week or two without receiving a message from anyone. However Once I signed up under a second profile which had no information and no photo I was receiving multiple daily emails form people that were supposedly interest in the phantom member they knew nothing about. This is a procedure they use to grab your attention. The emails form supposed members are funneled to you as a new member to get your interest since the only way they can be fully read is for you to get a full membership. A sort of illegal bait and switch if you will. As soon as you become a member emails will be sporadic once in a while. I had a charge show up on my credit card for AFF in August for $107. Although my membership didnt expire until December of that year. I challenged it with my credit card company and as a result my profile was removed with no explanation. I sent 3 emails asking why and never received a response to date. They are essentially a large corporation that wants to separate you from your money and could care less about you as a customer which is a toxic combination.

I was tricked into believing that benaughty.com and adultfriendfinder are two different sites. Just so you know, they're both run by the same sites. Complete scams, both of them. Nothing but bots and tranny's. These sites will have bots text you and say hey whats up, want to chat? Then you never hear from them again. They don't answer you either. So I signed up for a Gold membership. After a week, it says Gold is only a free account, even though I paid $160.00 for it. They then say, "sign up for platinum if you want the real deal." Total scam! So I finally thought I was talking with legit people and after 30 minutes of chat, all of a sudden they deactivate their accounts. ALL OF THEM! I spoke to about 6 people. They all deactivated their accounts halfway through chatting with them, and blocked me. Now I'm a model, so I'm not bad looking. So you can see I'm not making this up. I've had better luck at dive bars. And the only legit people who will text you are trans sexuals. And they claim to be real women. I reported them and adultfriendfinder will say, "you don't have the proof." Oh well, isn't the mustache enough proof? Or their hairy chest? Trust me, avoid this site at all costs...Good advice...

A very mixed bag. We have been in the lifestyle for 10 years and have rotated our paid memberships between AFF, Lifestylelounge and SLS so we have a pretty good basis for comparison.

AFF is by far the biggest and it's where a lot of people start. If you can't find someone on AFF, then you're doing something wrong. You do need to be very careful though as there are SOOOOO many fake profiles or people that are just playing around on the site with no intention of meeting.

Pros:
- lots of members
- limits what unpaid members can see and do
- service is pretty responsive when you need them
- good member privacy controls

Cons:
- very few hot couples or girls
- ridiculous amount of fake profiles and the fact that the site admin creates them!
- 99% of single girls that are at all attractive are fake
- no monitoring of people stealing pics\videos from websites and posting them on their profile
- no "booty call" or "Hot Date" type feature
- some features are buggy unless you are on a real PC
- search features are wildly inconsistent and inaccurate. We sometimes get emails from very good matches nearby and we have never seen their profiles before

The biggest that it tells you is that it a hookup site and you will meet like minded people. For 1) I paid for the membership and posted pictures and stuff and sent messages…I got only a few messages back that said yeah we can hookup and we exchanged numbers and a hookup never happened2) the site looks old and outdated as crap like from MySpace back in the 90's early 2000's 3) a bunch of fake profiles and no responses 4) their management team or HR department doesn't respond back and just take your money 5) want you to post a questionnaire on your profile so other people can connect with you…like why do I even need that when no one is looking at my profile…Long story short don't waste your time with this try something like HINGE that worked out pretty well and by the way if I could give this site a review it wouldn't even be one star

Last year I used the service for a one month paid subscription. Within 48 hours I hooked up with the only SWF in my local area. For the rest of the month that is all there was so I did not renew the subscription.
Recently I thought I would give it another try. I signed up, I thought, for 1 month for $20. At the end of the transaction I was charged $101 for three months of gold service plus an extra month of standard service. I immediately sent them an email. They responded asking for my log in information which I provided.
They then sent me and email saying they would charge me for one month of Gold Service and refund the remainder of the charge and asked that I respond if I agreed. I responded that I did agree to the one month charge. I then received an email stating auto renewal was not activated on my account and that if I had further questions to contact billing.
First. Every single response from them to the same email chain was from a different person.
Second. There was never a question about automatic renewal.
I feel like I'm getting some sort of run around and I will likely be out $81 more than I had intended to spend.
Third. The only woman that is into sex with straight men in my area is the same one I hooked up with before and it wasn't good enough to want seconds.
Yes. You may get laid but you may also lose money. I don't trust them at this point.

I was on the site 12; years ago and it couldn't get much better, if I wanted to I could hooked up with women or couples every night of the week, but between then and 2020 something happened to the what I thought best hook up site ever. I rejoined a month ago and paid for one month and as soon as I joined had 20 flirts, messages, and views but everyone one was a fake profile except one and she was a prostitute. Every day that I log in it was fake after or these Asian women trying to get you to come to another site. I messaged customer service and tried calling but no response, then two days ago there was one girl who I thought was real chat with me for a hour or so and soon as I felt comfortable with it, they offered me CHILD PORN. I blocked and reported it to AFF, and posted on site message board about this. But what they did next really pissed me off, they didn't follow up on this but deleted my account. I contacted the sheriff department and they said it's going to be hard without my profile messages since they deleted it. So I hope someone reads this before joining because it's a very unsafe site.

I have used the site on and off for many years. At first it was awesome. Free to use and chat and meet but now ALL TOTALLY ABOUT MONEY. The biggest problem is that 90% of the people shown as being on line are simply not. I tried to talk to seven separate people just today that showed as being on line... I have five of their phone numbers, when they did not answer I rang them... three had not been on line at all within the last 24 hours BUT worse still one other person had been on line BUT had logged off nine hours ago and the last person had logged off two hours ago. Link this lieing by the site with the fact that it rarely works properly is as slow as a wet weekend and all you have is a MONEY GRAB. It is a sham and leave it andcertainly never ever pay for it.

Started taking money without authorisation even when I was offline. Reporting them to the police. Blocked me in chats when I tried to resolve the problem. Enough is enough.

I've been on AFF for a few years and recently they just deleted my page.They accused me of solicitation but when I asked them for the proof they are going to tell me to get a court order to get the information. WHATEVER YOU DO... DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT JOIN AFF.

I just feel that there are SO many insincere men on the site... and while I have never seen the female side of the site, I bet the girls are just posers. Also... site so buggy it's crazy...

Been using this site for 6-8 weeks and it does not suck as bad as most other adult hookup sites. Actually it is pretty good.

First, men can't just sit on their butt and wait for a woman they like to answer. As a man, you have to go out and make the effort and the first move. But be realistic. If you are 60 years old seeking a 20 year old beauty, you ain't gonna make it! This ain't a sugar daddy website!

There are a few scammers on this site. Aproaching women first will cut down the number of scammers. If a beautiful woman contacts you first, it is not unlikely she is a scammer. If you approach a women first and she answers, imo the chances that she is a scammer drop to like 10-20%.

Let me give you another advise. Use more than one site at a time. It is possible that you ain't comfortable on one site or maybe the site does not have many members near you. Found out that CasualDating4u is a pretty decent adult hookup site too. Also tried beNaughty and CasualSexOnly but didn't really score using them. They also seem legit though.

Last but not least don't believe the pictures they give you until you see the real person in the photos and don't expect to hookup with any supermodels. If you like the average looking girl next door you will be fine though.

So, I had decided to pull the trigger and try out this site. Wow, what a massive disappointment. So, let's talk about that.
I decided to go with the gold account. I actually only wanted 1 month to try it out. But, for some odd reason AFF billed me for 3 months. Well, it is what it is. I figured I could be there for a bit and see how things went.
So, I logged in and started surfing. Now, the city I live in is a mid sized city. About 52k in population. So, you'd think there'd be a few people to choose from. Not really. There are a LOT of inactive accounts. And I mean a LOT. I would say that for every account that looks active there's 10 that aren't.
Then there's the fake accounts. Those outnumber the inactive accounts. It's absolutely crazy.
So, after a couple of weeks I said well, that's that. I contacted customer service to talk about deleting the account and a refund for time owing.
Well, that turned out to be something different.
They were happy to delete the account. I literally typed "I'd like to delete my account. How soon can I expect the refund for the balance owing?" and the agent had deleted my account and closed the chat conversation.
Did I get my refund? No. I'm out about $90 for this.
So, would I suggest you try this site? Well, if you like fake accounts, inactive accounts and a company that rips you off? Then sure. This is the place for you.
