Just like the subject. With that, I'll add I've fooled with this in the past and not even one week, I was with someone. The last time I gave it a go with no issue was 2016. The two times after was in 2020 and 2021 and it seems to be fake asf now. I'll pass indefinitely after reading the other reviews below.

I think whether a dating site "works" or not depends on the person using it. That's a fairly obvious statement, but I don't mean any sarcasm by it. I guess my point is that one should really consider which dating sites are right for them as well as the male to female gender ratios on the sites. In my case AFF wasn't good enough because men on the site were rude indeed.

Guys need to know that it takes more than just to join to get laid using AFF. Men outnumber women on every hook up site so what you need to do is to stand out from the crowd! Create a nice profile and upload some nice pictures. Don't ever send d#$ pictures. Never ever! Be patient and be creative.

Whatever you do, don't expect to hookup within a week or so. It takes more time. You may be lucky and hook up faster but from my experience it takes a few weeks before you will have your first date.

They lure you in with things like pics and live chat which never work. Then they log you out remotely and when you try to use your password to reenter they reject it. They then reject the code they themselves emailed you. If you complain enough, they remotely log you back in again but it only lasts awhile. When you try complaining they suggest you upgrade to GOLD service. It's a scam. The escorts are not even real. Avoid at all costs!

I have frequented this site over the past 10 years as both a standard member (nonpaying) and occasionally as a paying gold member. So far I have encountered no one I would seriously consider meeting up with from the site. Do not give these folks your credit card number unless you plan on being a member for life, they will just keep charging /re-upping your membership indefinitely. There is an option to use gift card payments which is the only safe way to become a paying member. Even then you may not get the specific membership you requested/payed for. Ie I paid approximately $100 for 3 months gold membership with an add-on of 3 months of standard members being able to contact me. They gave me a 4.5 month membership without the add-on and refused to correct the problem. The site has some legitimate members actually looking to hook-up and an abundance of scammers, attention seekers, liars and phishers so keep you info close and use an anonymous e-mail address for any contacts. AdultFriendFinder and it's affiliates like Outpersonals, Alt.com, Big church and many others are just copies of this site. Enter these sites at your own risk and buyer beware.

Not the biggest fan of AFF. There are better sites out there. Ive met more girls on hookuphangout in a month of adding it to my rotation than I have in over three months on AFF (although the first girl I hooked up with on AFF was BANGING!). I usually rotate my site use, for example one day on AFF firing out messages, next day im on hookuphangout.com searching and sending, and next im on a free site usually (just because money is tight at the moment) like POF or dare I say it, tinder. I paid for premium, just the first level, cancelled 2 months later. You do NOT get full access with just the gold, have to get another level to message non members at ANOTHER cost, or they can only get ur message as a blur. AFF has so many fake profiles and bots. The IM program also is very unreliable, but works well for their spam bots! I reported it and they say it works good, but they are checking with a IN NETWORK PC and not log in as a regular user from a out of network pc. Profile views and IM notifications dont work well at all, you may get one out of 10. They know it dont work well and wont fix. I think this site is a big money scam!
