There is nothing bad to say about the platform, I am in love with it, very easy to use the only thing it annoys me is every time you click something opens a new tab, oh boy when I realize I have at least 200 tabs open u. U but that its just me lol

Make 5 purchases via Alibaba. Everything could have been perfect.
But big black spot: the euro-dollar exchange rate used at the time of payment. This rate is not the market and has always been against me (which translates into a surplus of about 1% of my purchases). The customer service does not give me any satisfactory explanation. Hoping that this doesn't happen again on my next orders.

Communication could be better. For products that must have a CE marking, the certificates should also be available for download. So that the certificates can be checked. Many traders show fake certificates.

As a company, we have two accounts for buyers. We have often found that traders do not stick to the contracts when the money is transferred. Suddenly the goods were no longer available or they wanted to sell us something completely different. Alibaba should pay attention to quality and good sellers who adhere to their contracts.

It takes some time when working off of this site because you are communicating with Main land China which is a different time zone, so it's pretty much a one day response turn around. However if you can get past that it is amazing. Shipping takes 30-45 days so plan ahead.

Don't just go to one supplier! Alibaba is made up of a whole bunch of different suppliers. Some not very professional. Seems like some of them just decided to become a middle man and don't know much about what they are trying to sell. So you have to put in your time to contact as many suppliers as you can to find a supplier that you can work with. It's like shopping. You have to find suppliers that has been in business for at least 2 years. Do some research on Youtube. I recommend (Just One Dime). I'm not getting any kind of compensation for recommending them. I found their information very helpful!

So If your looking to build a set of awesome custom wheels without breaking the bank and don't mind waiting a couple months to save you thousands of dollars here you go. Ice Xu and her team where amazing they took the time to make sure my vision of my wheels a complete success. They can help you with the look, specs, and recommendations. You need to make some killer wheels. They packed everything very careful for the long haul double boxed, extra padding and taped all over to make sure your wheels will be safe and protected. If you're really really careful Alibaba can be a tremendous resource for an American business who is looking for new suppliers and vendors in China. My company used to pay consultants and other middle men a lot of money to find us reliable folks in Asia. I still work with some of them but now Alibaba can help me do part of the work.

I placed order many times in Alibaba and I was always satisfy, only one time when the supplier didn't respect what I saw on his display. I supposed to receive notebooks with pens; well! He sent me the notebooks which where properly made but no pens that are the support to keep them close. As I did my payment by PayPal, I didn't have any help from Alibaba about this case.
I bought the missing pens from another supplier for my customer.

Use alibaba a fair bit to find the right supplier, which can be hit and miss as many suppliers lie a lot, and many product descriptions are misleading, but if you know that upfront, its a very good platform to assist purchasing decisions

Shipping from China can be expensive for smaller quantities. But doing research and working with suppliers through the Alibaba platform can lead you through a quite satisfactory learning curve. Now I'm ready for more serious orders, thanks to my understanding of the platform.

We are a small business in West Michigan and were looking to source some parts from China. We secured an initial sample and were pleased with the results and the price. We then placed a small order for more parts, but when they showed up they did not meet specifications. The supplier refuses to even reply to our inquiries and Alibaba won't help us either. I don't think we'll be doing any more business through this website.

Purchasing overseas with a language barrier can be difficult. Alibaba.com helps you find the right supplier, and lets you choose who to work with. I've made several purchases through this site and not once had any problems. Very helpful. Very professional. Very reasonable.

Purchasing a dress for my granddaughter through Alibaba went very smoothly. The site is clearly geared more towards the commercial environment than towards retail customers, but the web interface makes purchase from China quite easy. Some of the vendors on Alibaba could use a better translator. I laughed at the "sexy" communion dresses advertised by one dress manufacturer. Alibaba itself proved easy to navigate and I will certainly use the site again.

They keep their promise when it comes to shipping and all their products are of good quality. They just never disappoint. They deliver as promised and the customer service is tops. You try them if your in this industry and see for self.

Very user friendly site, easy to talk to suppliers, although some suppliers do not respond but that may be due to the quantity being ordered. Super quick ship and products are great quality. Would add that it's important to communicate with sellers to ensure you're getting the quantity and the correct product. Alibaba is the service I've been searching for years! I love it! My customers love it - which is even better!

I have bought different products from Alibaba and I have never gotten a problem that has not been solved. Once, the company I company I was dealing with, did not fulfil their part. They never shipped the product. I contacted Alibaba about the issues, I sent information about the conversation with the company I was dealing with and I showed them that they never shipped the goods I paid for. Alibaba returned my money. It took some little time, but it is understandable.

Every time I order some goods, they arrive as promised. I always make sure to pay a little more in order to have trade assurance. Attached is a picture from the last company I was dealing with in Alibaba. The goods were well packed.

I have been a member for several years and have bought and sold many times -- now they are blocking my account because I refuse to give them confidential information that could be used to conduct scams - is this the Chinese gov trying to get free corporate information?

The system has been very well thought through and as a first time user I found the instructions and guidance easy to understand. I also found it reassuring in that Alibaba oversees the business thus offering security. Everything just ran so smoothly with the supplier responding promptly and thoughtfully. In the process of my research I received a lot of messages from various providers who were all most courteous and helpful. Once my order was placed it's progress was easy to follow and I was in receipt of the goods within the week. Impressive!

I am based in Central America and searching for a product sample with no prior buying experience. Alibaba platform is easy to use, logic, keeps all information in an orderly manner, makes it easy to communicate with potential sellers and provides real time communication and secure transactions.

Very happy excellent product, it was just as how i expected, great materials, nice prints, good tracking shipping, the sales woman was very kind and solve all of my doubts.

Almost impossible to log on after the last transaction. After clicking ‘forgot password I do not get an email sent to me.
As for the search engine - it is a time waster. Takes me everywhere except where o need to go to. Mis interpretation of my words
