Alibris UK

I would prefer to see all shipping options before entering card details. As it happens there were no other options so perhaps the wording should be adjusted at the checkout stage as it implies there are other options. For instance, I would have paid extra for express shipping. I do not want my card details saved.

The alibris shopping experience is always very good. However, there seem to be occasional delivery problems caused by the fact that the UK is no longer in the EU.
My last order from the UK in 2024 did not arrive.

I must confess I am a little surprised that I cannot proceed with the transaction without writing a review. The mechanics of the transaction were otherwise straightforward and I am happy to place my order with Alibris. Thank You

Convenient. It is nice to have an alternative to Amazon. Jeff Bezos has abused many Americans' goodwill domestically and abroad with the backing of an authoritarian criminal (Felon 47) and his gang of merry thieves in the USA.

Out of all the websites for books (particularly antiquarian ones) I find Alibris to be the best by far. The advertised price is always the price you pay, unlike other platforms that lure you in with a competitive price but once you click on the item the price rises and, in some instances, dramatically!
I love that the price on Alibris is always in my currency but most of all, my favourite thing about Alibris is the flat rate postage.
I am an academic / amateur historian. All the items I buy are for my personal collection. I do not resell any items. I do not have an unlimited amounts of money nor do I work in conjunction with any business or other person/s. My purchases are always on a strict budget and are always carefully researched and planned.
I am extremely grateful that Alibris allows me to indulge my passion for old and often smelly books within my niche area of interest. I thank-you.
