OK but hate being interrupted part way through something!
My address label included my phone number, added to the end of United Kingdom, and I was unable to delete it. So I had to put in another email address, and re-enter everything, making sure not to include my phone number.
So easy to use and very VERY fair pricing for a book addict! As someone not in the US but with an interest in may things US related (railroads, subways, Hollywood, US history) I can source so many books at good prices.
Complicated to add a different address for sending
And asked me three times for the card number
And addresses can't be chosen using the Post code. One has to fill in everything by hand. Primitive
Fantastic! I used to borrow this book from my school Library in Texas *50* years ago. When I left that school, I wanted to keep the book because I loved it SO much, but I left it in the Library! I've found it after all these years, and it is coming to me in the northeast of Scotland, where I now live! Alibris is making a 50-year-old wish come true!
The user experience in trying to figure out which books have ridiculous shipping costs compared to the price of the books is awful. I'm having to add and remove books individually from the basket to try to figure out which seller has exorbitant costs.
Please also advise sellers that they have lost sales today because of high shipping charges due to unnecessary "premium" delivery that isn't required (I would have happily waited a week or two for more reasonable shipping but could not select that option).
Search is good (better than many of the individual bookseller's own sites), but I found the "move to wishlist" process very laborious (I had to move each one individually), and I found the shipping estimates EXTREMELY opaque. Please show the shipping costs per book/company, so that I can choose which books to remove from my basket without having to add & remove each one by hand & recheck. Selecting books with a value of £40 and then the shipping turned out to be £50 is unreasonable.
