With so many versions of War and Peace, it might have been hard to choose. The filters and descriptions were very helpful.
Trust it much more than Amazon. Also, hate the way Amazon trucks block our residential streets; will buy ANYWHERE but Amazon, but have had great experience with Alibris.

Too many of the dealers don't provide basic information about their books, e.g. whether a hardcover book has the dust-jacket or not.

Dealers who primarily sell remaiindered titles should be REQUIRED to state this on each record of a book they sell.
So, so many dealers' descriptions of their books are attached to the record for a different edition. I. e., you'll see a description for a trade paperback, lick on the details, and find out it's a hardback with dust jacket.
The quality control of the bibliographical data in this database is very poor.
It had the four titles I was looking for at prices i could afford. But it took so much longer time to identify the exact edition I wanted, and that wasn't a remaindered book, which I do not want to purchase.

I hate all these reprint companies' editions. They are not rare books or used books. Ban them!

There are way too many records in which you've attached what the dealer actually has (e.g., a first edition hardcover) to a record for another edition (e.g., a later paperback). This is happening more and more frequently and is leading me to do more shopping with Bibliobooks, Abe Books, and eBay.
I found a copy of a particular book that I couldn't find elsewhere.

My price went up from 31.49 + 3.99 shipping = 35.48 - but I was billed 38.36? Why? Even if you add NJ tax at 7%, it still does not add up.

The checkout process to pay for order had a lot of technical issues. It was very frustrating, and I was really inconvenienced.
