Perhaps not the cheapest, but these people are great at helping you find what you need and stand by their products. I buy my heaters and air purifiers and such from them as do my friends and family. I had something arrive without legs and even though I took a couple of months to open the package (my fault), I contacted the company and the leveling legs were on my porch the next day. LOVE this company (unlike Appliances Connection my personal nightmare - My point is that a deal is not always a deal - with Allergy Buyers a deal IS a deal!)

Don't buy!

Purchased an IN STOCK item. Website claims next day shipping for in stock items. I had to call 3 times to get my paid item shipped a full week later. I had to keep pushing for information and finally the call center woman talked to her manager and came back and told me the item would be shipped tomorrow. I copied below their claim for shipping.

In an era where companies work hard to build a good customer service reputation. This company does not know the meaning of good customer service. Some one else called them a fraud in their review and I would have to agree. I tried to return an item and they would not respond to my requests to return the item. After many phone calls they finally sent me a RA # but they charged me a 25% restock charge and I had to pay for return freight. Run away from this company and find some one more reputable to deal with.

I only wish I would have read reviews before I purchased from them.

Worst. Customer service. Ever.

Abysmal order processing capabilities and horrendous customer service: rude, inept, unhelpful. This is just not the way to run a web based business. Recommend to seriously avoid -- I know I will absolutely never place another order from AEB again.

I had a very unsatisfactory experience with this company. Then, even though they advertise honest reviews, my negative review of their product and service has never appeared. How do I broadcast loud and clear to stay away from these people. Finally, I have asked them on four separate occasions to remove my name from their mailing list, and they will not do it.

I wish I'd read all these reviews BEFORE purchasing something on Allergy Buyers Club. I purchased an air purifier after reading all the "amazing" reviews about the filter on their own site. I even chatted directly with their customer service rep who also recommended that particular air purifier. It took forever to arrive, and when it did it was HORRIBLY constructed, made of cheap plastic, and the interior electrical panel was held together with tape. Not even electrical-grade tape, but office quality cellophane tape. This was a $600 supposed high-quality air filter, so of course I immediately wanted to return it. Except, I was held to a 15% RESTOCKING fee, AND I had to pay for return shipping. Return shipping was almost $100, and the restocking fee was another $100! I would've kept it just to try not to waste $200, except for the fact that it was a dangerous product & potential fire-hazard. So I angrily shipped it back.

I left an honest review of how bad the air filter was on their site, and oddly enough my review never showed up. So clearly AllergyBuyersClub filters out all the negative (read: HONEST) reviews, and only post the favorable reviews of their products. Which I question are even real reviews, I honestly can't imagine ANYONE being ok with paying $600 for a cheap plastic hunk of junk held together with tape.

This is a fraudulent company with horrible customer service and a unconscionable return policy. STAY AWAY!

Highly recommend avoiding Allergy Buyers Club. Significant deterioration in service and reliability. Have ordered from them for 5+ years, and shipping timing has slowed and our most recent multi hundred dollar order has not shown up after 1 month of waiting and multiple contacts with customer service (order was misplaced in the warehouse, etc.). Still nothing. Shop elsewhere.

It has been a circus dealing with this company. Will never do business with them again. Bought a unit that broke after 1 year--very expensive unit-- the company was giving me a hard time with the warranty so called allergy buyers club--they tossed me around to 6 DIFFERENT PEOPLE before having a customer service rep call me. After an hour on the phone she assured me not to worry and it wld all be taken care of. It was not. End of next day a completely different person called me to tell me shipping info on something that was not what i was told was going to happen--she was confused because she said this was "passed off to her" and she didn't "know exactly what was going on." COMPLETE waste of my time and money--they wasted 6 hours of my life the day earlier and then an hour today and now I am out a $700 air purifier. Horrible business practice. Disgraceful customer service. Such a shame.

Worst company. I bought an Apollo 2000 electric heater to heat a bedroom that gets very cold in the winter. Product came late with no ship tracking info, and it was the worst, smelled terrible and I could not use. Called for an RMA and was told that someone would bet back to me 5 days later no call from them (Typical). Finally I dogged their heels and they got me a return label by email. I sent it back and called to find out why they had not refunded my money. Was told again someone would follow up the next day and no one did. I will never buy from them and I recommend you say away as they are the absolute worst.

I purchased some super expensive, organic pillow (4), mattress (1), and duvet (1) dust mite/allergy covers totaling well over $400. Two of the pillow and the duvet covers didn't fit. I am typically good at reading the return policies, but I failed in this case... and apparently because I OPENED the items and saw they were too small, I had to call and beg for return acceptance of $204 worth of merchandise that had literally been unfolded and refolded. AllergyBuyer's customer service had me call their parent company and ask for "permission" and then I had to call back AllergyBuyer's again and pass on the permission... this all occurred in July 2015. I had to pay $20 to send the stuff back, to which it was received the first week in August 2015 - confirmed. By end of August, I still had not received my CC refund. I sent 3 emails to my customer service contact between then and mid September. When I called her, she said she never received any of those emails (although they were replies to hers and the address hadn't changed - in fairness to her, she was always very kind and professional however), but she said she would attend to my issue that day and I received an email on 9/18/15 that my credit card would be credited the $204... I then waited, called, and waited until 9/24/15 for that credit to finally appear! I do A LOT of online shopping and NEVER does it take 2 months to refund my credit card. When I shop at Amazon, the moment UPS picks up my package, the credit shows up on my credit card. If I return something at eBay, PayPal, Starbucks or Chipotle - ANYWHERE, the credit in TODAY'S DIGITAL AGE shouldn't take a week, and surely not 2 months. The experience was arduous and shameful and I would never recommend AllergyBuyersClub.

I was impatient!

I bought a dehumidifier from allergybuyersclub... waited impatiently for reunds.on charge card,, I got pretty upset... until, finally it arrived after 7 days! They said it could take 3 to 7 days but I really couldn't understand why it would take that long. HOORAY... IT ARRIVED AND ALL IS GOOD! The customer service rep, Barbara, was really nice.

I can hardly believe the owner/boss of this company is so unprofessional as to play the pity card as an excuse for bad business practices. Even if it's true that the poor woman has terrible health problems, sharing it with the public does not inspire confidence in her ability to right the ship. Suck it up and fix the business, or close it down. Don't make the customers pay for the troubles with long waits, no communication, unavailable product, unrefunded-for-extended-periods-of time money, etc, etc. And especially don't reply to the review with the same canned "we've had problems but now we're back on track" message. Do you think I don't remember reading that last month? Just another example of the mindbogglingly terrible customer service. It's almost as if the 'company' is really just one person doing things the old fashioned way with paper files, and is drowning in heaps of misplaced, forgotten, slid-off-the-desk-into-a-pile orders and callbacks and backorders and refund requests, and just can't keep it all straight or keep up with it. Almost nothing else would explain the agonizing interactions I've had with them these past two months, all for one three-item order! Sad, bad, shop someplace else.

All customers who have been owed a refund have been given their money back. I am sorry for any delay but this kind of thing unfortunately happened when I as the company founder was fighting for my life with Cancer. We are back on track now. All customers who encountered a delay in processing a refund are being sent a very generous gift certificate to try and make it up to our valued customers.

Shameful business

"I purchased 2 extremely expensive replacement filters for my IQ Air system. They promised fast shipping. My debit card was charged immediately; however after 3 weeks of no correspondence or shipping notification, I started trying to contact them. You get a run around, the customer service number is for sales only and will not address concerns. For two weeks I demanded that my order be cancelled so I could buy the filters from a reputable company. Our air system had been down now for a month. They refused to cancel. I started getting form letters via email saying the filters had shipped and would arrive by the end of the week. By Friday, no filters. I again demanded a refund. They refused and said the filters would arrive by the end of the next week. Finally, after nearly 5 weeks, they arrived. I will NEVER purchase from this shameful company again. I shouldn't have to beg for a product I paid for. They lie to you and refuse to cancel orders that are unsatisfactory. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. This company has a terrible reputation."

I am the president and founder of AllergyBuyersClub.com. First of all let me apologize for the lack of what has been historically exemplary customer service over the 15 years we have been in business. I ask for your patience, compassion and understanding as I explain. While my husband was dying of brain cancer over 2.4 years and I was watching the man I loved turn into a vegetable, my CFO "misrepresented" my financials. After these irregularities were discovered, I emptied my entire life savings to prop up the company. A month later, my own stage 3 B aggressive breast cancer was discovered and during 2014 I hired a professional manager to run the company while I battled for my life and am still doing so. The interim President made things much worse. So I sold the company to a much larger company who are in the health and wellness field. They are investing in the company and putting us back on track again, helping us grow and serve our customers once more with the attention and integrity that they deserve.
Once again my sincerest apologies and having heard it I hope you will forgive us and take down your negative review.

I placed an order for a water filter online on a Sunday afternoon. By Tuesday, I still hadn't received any order confirmation or shipping info. I called and spoke to some. She told me my filter would be shipped that night and I would receive an order confirmation that night and shipping info in the morning. Nothing. I went through this process 3 more time with different representatives and no one ever got back to me once. Finally on the Following Monday I got someone on the phone who told me that they didn't have that filter in stock. If you do use them, make sure that they check their stock before submitting your order and waiting around for a week for nothing.

Interesting and informative website with many products listed --- however... user reviews are screened and my review of a humidifier was never posted (Pure Guardian H4500... shows ZERO user reviews and one critic (employee) review.) Since I believe scathing reviews are useful -- and they won't post them --- the site has less utility. (They could always add a comment and rebut a review if they don't agree with it -- but you just won't see it --- because they won't post it)

They have live on-line chat also, but after about 5 minutes -- they just ignore you and move on to a different customer...
