I placed an order for 2 items, a pair of socks and a pair of Smartwool merino base layer pants. I paid for express shipping to get 2 day delivery. Not only did I NOT get my orders on time but I am missing one of my items, the pants that I paid over $100 for! On Tuesday I got an email saying part of my order had shipped (the socks) and on Wednesday, the day I was supposed to receive my items, I got another email saying that the rest of my order had shipped (the pants). They gave me the same tracking number for both items! How do you give me the same tracking number for 2 separate shipments! The socks were delivered yesterday, a day late! And now I have no idea where the heck my pants are because the gave me the same tracking number for 2 separate shipments and I have no way to track the pants because it just brings up the tracking for the socks! I emailed them last night because their chat was closed by the time I got the socks delivered last night. I will update this review when I receive a reply from them. I am beyond angry right now!
UPDATE: I emailed customer service on the Wednesday that I was supposed to receive my items and didn't. They replied the next morning saying that they were going to open an investigation and told me that if I received my items to let them know so that they could close the investigation. I emailed them back Thursday night after only the socks were delivered telling them that I had only received one part of my order and that I was still missing the pants and that they gave me the same tracking number for the 2 separate shipments. They NEVER replied. I then talked to someone on chat telling them that I had only received one part of my order and that they gave me the same tracking number for both shipments. She replied and asked me for my order number. Then she writes back ''Your order was delivered''... No $#*! it shows that it was delivered, you gave me the same tracking number for 2 different shipments and one of them was delivered. Luckily my missing pants were delivered on Saturday but I guarantee had they had not been delivered that they would have told me ''tracking shows it what delivered'' and they would have done nothing about it and I would have been out $100 on the missing pants. I emailed them back telling them that I had received the missing item and they NEVER replied AGAIN! If you order anything from their website make sure that you checkout with PayPal. If you use PayPal you can file a dispute and a claim if any of your items are missing or if they give you the same tracking number for separate shipments and only one of them gets delivered. Had my missing item had not shown up and I opened a claim on PayPal and sent them screenshots of the emails showing that the orders were shipped separately and that they had given me the same tracking number for 2 separate shipments and told them that I was missing the 2nd shipment, PayPal would have refunded the order. Also make sure to take screenshots of the tracking page and if you contact Altitude Sports by chat make sure to take screenshots of the conversation. The more evidence that you can provide to PayPal the better it is for your claim. You can also file a claim with your bank or credit card company but PayPal is much better at handling these kinds of situations. I have included 2 screenshots of the shipping confirmation emails that they sent me showing that they were shipped separately, on different days and that both shipments have the same tracking number
If you order from this site I would suggest using PayPal so that you can easily file a dispute or a claim
