I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!
I received a total of two telephones and neither one I could be heard when talking. I'm pretty certain that I'll be taken care of properly and accordingly.

I have had Asurion on my ATT account for years but just purchased the monthly unlimited plan via Amazon and was very worried my device wasn't properly covered. I am a DJ and my primary equipment is known as a "DJ Controller" but on the site you HAVE to select a category and product type so it is now insured under "MP3 Docking Station"... which is such a sad way to put it lol. I did get in contact with support and made very sure that it is considered a "portable device" and is covered from drops and spills which is THE MOST IMPORTANT with people walking up to DJs and holding their cups over all of our electronics! I only gave it 4/5 stars because I wish there was an "Other" category so I wouldn't have had to worry so much about the product description and support doesn't have a transcript to send or download which is a little scary if I need to submit it later just in case any claim gets denied but the agent did say to copy it all and just save it in a file so its something and Jayson was very helpful and understood completely how important this coverage was for me.
Just AVOIDDDDDDDDDD this place they don't show up at their time frame windows if they show up at all I'm on my fourth reschedule because the technicians didn't show or was hours late
A slightly cracked screen on my MacBook Pro is still unrepared after nearly four months, despite more than SEVENTY-FIVE HOURS spent on the phone and any number of promises and excuses from Asurion.
I'm disgusted and am about to file a Better Business Bureau complaint.
The story is too long to recount here, but I am now being told that my computer is "unrepairable," even though Ubreakifix protocols were not followed and a tech with minimal qualification was the only person who had worked on it.
It had a tiny crack along the edge of the screen but still worked perfectly until I trusted Ubreakifix to replace the screen and, now, it appears to have been damaged beyond repair.
I have been forced to purchase a replacement computer in the interim ($450) and lost $100 as a result of not being able to attend a pre-paid Zoom class, in addition to the $96 Asurion charge, much less six months of payments.
Representatives from both companies were nearly all polite and seemed sincerely interested in helping me, but NOBODY HAS!
These months have been the most frustrating I have ever experienced in dealing with ANY business in all of my 70 plus years!

4 years ago we purchased 3 major appliances with service plans ($195- for each one) from Home Depot ONLINE. Our fridge has died recently and when we contacted Asurion to schedule service that person said he had the receipt and should receive a service call within 4 hours, NO call. We called back and got hung up on. Called again and they said Customer service was closed but we should get a call by 10am, NO call. We contacted the person that had emailed me and they were looking for a Receipt and wouldn't accept the only receipt Home Depot gives you for an online orders. In between we contacted Home Depot, both corporate and store level and they said that is the ONLY receipt Online purchasers get. After spending several HOURS, Missing work, losing everything in our Fridge we called your Customer service people again asking for a Supervisor and low and behold BAM that person was ready to schedule a service appointment for us BUT it's a few days out. (We actually have to wait a WEEK to get fridge looked at, a FRIDGE, not like you need a fridge or anything). This entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE. Any information you guys need should be taken at TIME OF PURCHASE, NOT after when people are desperate for service. I will NEVER buy an extended plan from these people again. And I'm seriously consideing filing a law suit for the pain and suffering this has caused us with the numerous phone calls and countless emails. Just a complete HASSLE from beginning to end. Completely UNACCEPTABLE

I have never had an issue with AT&T themselves, however, the insurance company is crap. I made my claim to get my screen fixed on Oct 31, I received the materials on Nov 2 and then I called on Nov 4 (Friday) they told me they haven't received my phone, so I called again on Nov 7 and they told me they received it. They didn't specify on what day it came in but they received it. So they proceeded to tell me that it would take 3-5 days to get mailed back to me. HOWEVER, they really didn't receive my phone until Nov 10. I then got an email on Nov 11 STATING they received my phone and to give them 3 BUSINESS days to fix it and send it back. Well, I just called the insurance company (Nov 16) and they said "it's still in process and it says 5 to 8 BUSINESS days to fix it and send it back. Every time I've called they didn't know what they were talking about and they give me a different timeline EACH TIME I CALL. The reps need to be more attentive and pay attention because all this $#*! is annoying, there's no reason why it should have taken a month to get sent back to me.
I cracked my screen. Called ubreakifix. They walked me through the claim process and I was able to get my phone fixed the next day!
Had an issue, made a call had a New TV 5 days later. Couldn't be happier, I'm glad I made this decision to protect my in home electronics.

I had lost my mobile device and filed a claim for next day device replacement with Asurion.
I had a scheduled delivery window with an Asurion expert between 1pm and 3pm. They never came or notified me of any rescheduling. I called to inquire about the non-delivery and no show from their customer support. I was told the associate made a note of attempted contact via my alternative phone number and had left a voicemail. The phone of my alternative contact has no record of text, call or voicemail left by any Asurion associate. My delivery window now is shifted to between 5pm to 7pm.
Come 4:30pm an Asurion expert texts me of my upcoming delivery along with preparation instructions. I also receive a call from my assigned Asurion Expert notifying me that my replacement device has arrived and is ready for delivery by 5pm. These notification and updates was what i had awaited for in my original delivery window of 1pm-3pm but had never received.
Fed up, i just canceled my claim with Asurion and changed my mobile provider from AT&T to TMobile so i don't have to deal with such shady and disorganize affiliates.

I have now spend at least 4 hours of my life to be called a liar! After about 2.5 to 3 hours I asked to speak to the manager about them saying a man that is handicapped has to make a 4 hour drive to get my phone screen replaced! After hours of speaking to them and about 45 minutes with the manager she told me that she would do a 1 time option of sending me a new phone. Since they don't have anyone that has access to the screen I need! I even said can't you just send the company's near me a replacement screen? And of course they couldn't do that! So at the end of the call I was sent emails that I had to download and print then fill out and send back including my I.D. which I did all of thar! Then after that I attempted to finish their email information. Well it didn't give me the option that I was told I was able to get this one time! So I called in and spent 40 minutes on the phone with them again. And finally the customer care person said that he found the managers notes and that I will be getting an email shortly. 4 hours later I still didn't receive the email! So I called again and they told me that there isn't any notes and that I am pretty much a liar! And that if I want my screen fixed to find a way to go 4 hours round trip or send my phone back for about a week to get it repaired! I have NEVER EVER been treated so badly! And they did everything except swear and me and call me a liar! Then I told them that I am thinking about getting my attorney involved they said they can't talk to me anymore! PLEASE PLEASE don't waste your money and time using this company to insure any supposedly protect your large investment of your cell phone, electronics or whatever it is! Because they will do whatever they can to NOT fix it! But if you want to be treated like SH*T and called a liar then this is DEFINITELY the company for you!
I have insurance on my Verizon phone through Asurion. I was in the ER about a week ago, and my screen got cracked somewhere along the way. I put in a claim to get it repaired (everything else works just fine), picked a time, received my confirmation... and waited. And waited. And then I called them, 15 minutes AFTER my scheduled 3 hour time slot had passed. Now, I understand that people get delayed and things happen; that is fine. However, I DON'T understand not getting a call or text (they obviously have my number!) to update me on what is going on and when I can expect them to show up. The customer service agent informed me that they have no way to know who the tech is, or get ahold of them or track them in any way. Really? That's the best job ever... no accountability? She asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment. No, I just want to know when someone will be coming. Sorry, can't tell you. OK, I'll wait some more. And wait. And wait. I went online; and the site told me to call the customer service number that already told me they can't help me. So I wait some more. Then after 2 1/2 hours, I called again. Same story. We can't help you, no one knows who the tech is, or what is going on, or if they are going to show up. So, I ask to speak to a manager or someone who CAN help me. Then I'm put on hold, she comes back to tell me that "someone" is looking into it, and will find out what's going on, and would I please hold. Been waiting all day, so why not. Well, guess what. It's been OVER AN HOUR that I've been on hold. Just for the record; my time frame for the repair was 11am-1pm, and it is now 4:47 pm and I'm STILL ON HOLD. And, no repair person has bothered to call, text, email me, or in any way reach out. This is rude, unprofessional, TERRIBLE business, and disrespectful of my time. Take your phone to an independent repair shop. Support the little guy, because this company clearly doesn't give a damn! If I could give ZERO STARS, I certainly would.
