I use asurion through AT&t it really does come in handy when you need it. I appreciate that you can get the issue corrected and then the payment is put on to your bill rather than paying up front. I'm insured on all my electronics with asurion!

Purchased an iphone11 on 03/17/2022. Was damaged on 04/15/2023. Asurion updated system and denies claim.
I signed up for Asurion when I turned in our PS4 to be repaired and was told that by signing up that day with the discount that my tech would be covered after 31 days if they were unable to repair it. Everything worked except the disc drive. I get it back on 12/28 as unrepairable and now the whole system is down with a hardware malfunction. I have them look at it again and am advised to file a claim. I file the claim and am told that I am not covered as this is a pre-existing condition since it was turned in on 11/27 (when I signed up) and outside of my coverage window. The manager for Asurion (Topher) then tells me the only way it would be covered is if I took it back to UbreakIfix and sign back up with the discount applied - WHICH IS WHAT I DID THE FIRST TIME on 11/27. He basically has me running around in circles to tell me that my tech is not covered. It is a waste of $25 a month as the claim will be denied unless it is something you purchased and broke after your plan started, which is not what they tell you when signing up. The only thing I can say is at least they offered a full refund for cancelling my account... that is the only good thing I can say.

I signed up for the Asurion+ Home and did not get to use any of it as my claim was denied for reasons that negated what I was told during sign up.
