Today August 7, the smog testing facility I took my 2020 CRV car to informed me they were unable to communicate with the vehicle. They suggested taking it to a Honda dealer.
I contacted Barber Honda's service department to schedule an appointment. I was told if I come in without an appointment, the car would sit there for 1-1/2 weeks. The first available appointment is in September.
I explained that CA DMV requires the vehicle to be registered within 20 days. So that timelime doesn't work. The service response remained the same; bring it in or wait until September. Since this was totally unacceptable, I asked to speak with the service manager. I was transfer to voice mail. Never received a call back.
If this is the type of unsatisfactory service I can expect from this PRETEND Honda dealer, then I should just get rid of this SUV even though I have owned several Hondas over the years.
As a side note, Visalia Honda could get me in August 22. Auto Nation Honda Valencia scheduled me for this Thursday, August 10. Both are a 1-1/2 hour drive each way.
