I paid almost $12,000 for a Cater Pro and the cart has not been operational for 1 day since I purchased it over 1 month ago. Dealing with Bens's Carts was a HUGE mistake. Dont, mistake all their internet marketing and down-home southern schtick as anything but an attempt to separate you from your money. Cheap, cheap construction. Panels falling off on the drive home! 1 or 2 screws in the sheet metal where there should be 4. On day one there was an explosion and the cart caught on fire because the griddle connection was counter-threaded. Once Ben sells you the cart he is non-existent. He will not return calls or emails. The wheel was not designed for the weight of the cart and kept going flat so I had to rock the cart to get it rolling on a square wheel. The hot water heater has never functioned and the battery died after using it for a couple of minutes. Their one-year warranty consists of them giving you instructions on how to disassemble the cart and put in new parts to replace the brand-new parts that are defective, They canceled my membership in the Facebook group Vendors United because I tried to warn new people not to purchase their carts from Bens Carts. If anyone else has gotten ripped off like me please let me know-I would like to participate in a lawsuit so that this rip-off does not happen to them. They refer to themselves as "The Hot Dog Mafia" I should have known better, run away from this company. If I could have left no stars I would.
Answer: The carts come assembled. You may have to attach the breadbox to the top once you uncrate your cart. Shipping takes 7-10 days generally for all standard carts with no customization. The stand in trailer takes 6-8 weeks. There in not a return policy as the carts are made to order. However there is a policy for damaged carts and a one year warranty as well. This is all on the website.
