Worst company ever

This company is horrible. First they set my package to the wrong address after I changed it before ordering a new package. Then they finally send it to my right address and they sent me products that were used. I tried to contact them again about it and they were so rude. Then they finally said that they'll send me another accommodation package but yet again they sent it to the wrong address. My address is current on the website and they still send it to the wrong address. And now I can't get a hold of anyone there because there's no customer service line you can call anymore. Do not use this company. They will scam you and send you used products that could have diseases in it. I will be contacting my lawyer. It's not the point that I spent money and they're keeping it and not giving me my items but it's the point that they sent me items that could have diseases in it.

Come on. I just got a Grown Alchemist product that expired in 2023. It's 2025. It's also unsealed, opened and used because there's no seal, the company told me all their products are sealed. And THERE WAS A HAIR IN IT under the cap. Gross. The past several months have been missing products as well. This used to be the best box subscription ever. Now it's a health hazard.

To be honest, these last few months I have not received good products from boxy charm. I do not receive what they show on the pictures I get on brand stuff and I did the quiz like four times and still get every month bad products I've been with boxy charm for such a long time. These last few months are bad I am canceling my prescription, because I think that the products that they sent me is not worth it.!

Something has changed for the better

The new Ipsy/Boxy is no longer having growing pains. I am thrilled with the changes. My boxes are custom for me, I am a skincare junkie, and they see to it I get all the best items. Some makeup, of course, just not as much. The shipping is so much quicker now. I will have my October box early next week, if not today. CS, has gotten awesome! Quick, and helpful.Around 30 for awesome product! I am a fan!

My first box was great since collab. Only 1 item I wouldn't use, and got here quickly. That's the end of anything good. They lost my add-ons, and I had to threaten them for a refund. Box 2, not great on options, too much makeup, but okay I can gift it. Where's my tracking? Oh, okay it's been scratched off. But they say no worries you will get it. Today I demand tracking or a refund, I got a refund because they were out of product? Scammers, and liars. I used to feel the box was worth all the issues, but how can I reward people who lie, cheat, and don't care about it's customers

Such a waste.

I don't know why I answered any questions in the beginning, because nothing they send me is anything I wanted or use. I continued to get it for about six months, hoping I'd get something I want. I get basically the same things every month. I've gotten about three or four blushes a couple mascaras, lots of lotions, and this last one was an eyeshadow palette that I would never wear. I wear neutrals. They sent me bright, purple, and gold eyeshadow. That's my third eyeshadow palette. Such a waste of money. Very disappointing. I wouldn't even put one star, but they made me at least put one.

Used to love it

I have been a boxy charm subscriber since 2017. With money getting tighter I canceled on November 11th 2022, right after they emailed me about shipping my November Box. I have a confirmation Email that my subscription cancelation was successful. They still billed me for 2 boxes in December and now 2 boxes in January but they haven't shipped any of them. I can't get through to anybody and you just go in circles trying to submit a ticket. I finally changed my payment method to a expired credit card so they won't be able to do it to me anymore but they are never getting my business ever again. They owe me 4 boxes worth of refund.

Horrible service

I will be canceling. I haven't had a great experience. Payment is taken out long before you get the box sent out and their customer service is a pain to get a hold of. They send nice product but not worth the headache

Zero custimer service

Horrible customer service. They use an online bot and issues are never resolved. Impossible to get help. Items come damaged and you only receive the minimum box value every month. First 2 years having it was great. Business went downhill. Items received aren't really worth the listed value anymore either

Ridiculous!

I love Boxycharm, however... I don't understand being charged $5.99 shipping, and $1.99 handling fee for one small lip gloss! First of all, I was under the assumption that this was an add-on and would come in my next subscription box, and second, WHY are they shipping this single, SMALL item in this size box? I don't get it!

Great Sales, So-So Subscription

This is an okay subscription service. You get a lot of the same types of items no matter what answers you put on the Beauty Quiz. I get lots of primers and brown eyeshadow, for instance. What makes Boxycharm unique and a good value for me is their Drop Sales. Tons of name brand products at dirt cheap prices. I've never had a single problem getting my orders or subscription boxes. That being said, I had to reach out to add a question about a Refreshments order and it was a nightmare. Totally done by bots even though the emails have a person's name on them and supposedly come from the Customer Service Team. My suggestion? If your issue doesn't involve a refund or a commonly asked question get creative and solve it yourself. It can be done and you aren't going to get help from the bots. They are useless.

Fraud horrible service.

So I left boxy charm about a year ago and I decided in August that I would rejoin cuz I never had any issues with them other than them constantly upping the price almost every month of my boxycharm so that's why I stopped. When I ordered for August I ordered three months in advance cuz it's easier for me when I received my first box which was supposed to be August 2022 I realized that none of the products were on line to review so I found that kind of weird I also never even received a card that tells the price of the products and what the products are for so I look at the back of the box and they gave me a box from almost 3 years ago October 2020 these products are expired the box is old this is not what I expected from boxycharm after rejoining on top of that they messaged me with hey please join you'll get a free gift I not once received that gift after my 3 months are done I will not be rejoining boxycharm ever again there's just too much issues with them now please be careful what boxes you guys get because you might just get a 3-year-old box and they will not refund you or give you an update box horrible horrible experience I wish I never wasted my money on this brand company.

They don't bother to listen!

I set up an account with Boxycharm as a promotion from another website. I described my coloring (pale skin, black hair, blue eyes) and told them my preferred makeup colors (smokey shadows, pale foundations, red lipsticks). On my first box, I got rose, peach, and bronze color eyeshadows and a disgusting baby pink lip gloss. I immediately cancelled my subscription, but lo and behold they had already charged me for the next month's box. I hoped they'd provide colors that were more my style with the next one, but NO! Everything was the same rosy-bronze colors that I have absolutely no use for.

I'm not paying for items I cannot use, and I'm not sticking with a subscription service that won't listen to what I want.

I gave out gift subscriptions and had my own. These were cancelled between a year & year & half ago. Still being charged. Still dealing with their "bot." Still sending countless emails. No products received, but well over FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS fraudulently taken from my visa. You CANNOT REACH A HUMAN. Their "design" and "policies" are to never be contacted. Words cannot describe how badly they suck.

I have enjoyed boxycharm up untill now, I had to get a new debit card and when I went to add it, it was rejected and wouldnt go through. And the automatic customer service is a joke. U can't get hold of anyone for any sort of help. I'm very sad and disappointed. And even when I went and cancelled my subscription and try to reactivate it, it still gave me problems and issues. I want to redo my account but if no one is there for help, then wtf am I to do?

Did not deliver

I am a makeup enthusiast and was very excited to try my first subscription box. I decided to opt for boxy charms premium box. After filling out their online quiz that is supposed to tailor your box to your preferences I was looking forward to trying new makeup products. In the quiz I selected the option that said I mostly wanted to receive makeup over skin and haircare products. After over 2 weeks I received my box and was disappointed to find 2 of 6 products were makeup. All 6 of the products were unimpressive. Upon receiving my second box today, only one item was a makeup Item. It was a lipgloss which I had said in the beauty quiz I was only rarely interested in receiving. I canceled my subscription and am now left with a ton of expensive skin and hair care products I will likely never use
