I've been using brainly for about 2 years without any problems and I've even bought the premium version "brainly plus" and one day I log in and I get $#*!ing blocked and can't get on the site anymore. I've contacted support multiple times over a 3 month period and haven't got a single response. So basically they took my money and blocked me from the site... horrible website
Do not purchase app. After you cancel they will keep charging for subscriptions and never return your money. They asked me to cancel a dispute I had with them so they can refund, which I did, never to hear from them again with many attempts
(This review was originally written in Oct 2022 and updated in 2024) I hate brainly. It's literally the worst homework help website on the internet. Moderators suck. People suck. Answers suck. EVERYTHING sucks. I first joined brainly in 2020, and it was bad then. I helped people with their problems and some IDIOT moderator goes ahead and deletes ALL MY ANSWERS. All they said was "Do not bully". Who the actual hell did I bully? It was just those three words. Now, two years later, The mods hate me because I break all the rules. They banned 26 of my other accounts and somehow can't find a way to just IP ban me. That's now bad it is. It just absoluetly sucks. I could've said "I'm going to commit genocide" and they probably would've just said "Okay". Bad site. One day I will make the entire stupid site fall and die. 2025 Edit: I'm in my last year old school. I don't use brainly anymore, mostly because the restricted most of it features now (Only AI bots and some users can answers questions now, not everybody can post answers.) Also, the removed every form of commenting, so I guess my mission is complete. This is my last edit. 5 years of this garbage cite and now I'm moving on with my life. This website is useless now, none of the answers are correct and a majority of the users there are bots. Zero human activity, lol
I've been going through a lot of money issues lately and I finally got it sorted out and I had just enough money to get gas all of a sudden I get $24 dollars taken out of my account from Brainly for a subscription I didn't know I had. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Back in 2021 they charged me and I was able to get a refund. But now they've changed their policy which I did not know because I haven't used this service since 2021. Now I can't get gas in my car and I don't get paid for another week. I will never use Brainly again.
It should be clear now that your data is marketable. In other words if something is 'free', then you are the product. The only possible use I can find for Brainly, is that it serves as a stark and cautionary illustration of this.
Users are asked to sign up using Facebook or Google. This is immediately a red flag. This suggests collusion between Brainly and those unscrupulous entities to whom your data is a commodity.
The site itself is a zoo. Anyone no matter their lack of qualifications can answer questions.
If you sign up and answer questions, then Google and FB have access to your search history and other preferences.
My only regret here is that there is no option to give zero stars, or 'minus' stars.
It is like 40% wrong for all of the questions. My average went from 99 to 96 from two incorrect answers thanks to Brainly. If I didn't decide to check on Brainly I would've still kept my 99. Also, ask your friend about a question instead of this misleading web. Keep away from this bull$#*!.
I just want all parents to beware! I signed up for Brainly Plus to help my daughter with homework and then tried to cancel my subscription, they have been charging me for 6 months now. I continue to send emails and disputing charges with my bank. This is a nightmare and apparently I'll be charged for the rest of my life unless I change banks!

This is not a good place to study, ask questions, or help others. There are lots of inappropriate language, terrible answers, and lots of judgement. When you ask a question, only few take you seriously. Some just answer with incomplete answers just to earn points. You can't even do anything besides reporting them. Can't delete the answers or tell them to stop. If you're lucky, you may be able to get some answers, but overall, not a good site to get answers.

This is 100% cheating, as well as being extremely hungry for money. You can only get 2 questions answered before you have to get a subscription! Even the ads show that you'll have to bug your parents to buy this for you! Overall, dumb, no help, just cheating.
Brainly was built for students and parents to get help while learning on their own - if you get a full and clear explanation of a homework problem, it will help you understand and you should be able to do it by yourself next time! This website was good earlier but now it forces everyone to download their app and then only we can see the answers. Also 65% of its answers are wrong so you can't fully rely on the answers on their app therefore, there's no profit of even downloading the app. I'll will not suggest this app for the use. Because you can't force anyone to download your app. Either you remove your website or let the children see answers on the website without downloading it. It is very irritable when you can't see answer in the website. Please do something about it.

I have been a moderator on Brainly for quite some time now. Brainy used to be a decent homework help site. Now it's absolutely garbage. As I've had to moderate answers, I can tell you that most answers are just random guesses by people trying to get points. A lot of the questions asked are by bots that ask one question. Now Brainly requires your to pay to view low-quality answers. Which is absolutely ridiculous. As a moderator, I say to steer clear. Try other websites such as questioncove.com or peeranswer.com
They provide much better help (and not random users guessing to get points) and don't charge you money.
Brainly has changed a lot, and unfortunately it wasn't for the best. I'm not sure why they needed to charge money when they get so much grant funding. Perhaps it's greed.
Brainly is a terrible place if you are young and want to learn more. It is filled with simps who send google meet links and other inappropriate stuff (when I say inappropriate, I really mean it). Many questions will receive an answer within a few minutes, most of them will be inapplicable answers. It is a common practice as answering will get you points. They don't even check the authenticity of answers.

Horrible. They charge you without your knowledge. I've canceled before and got charged $40 FOR THE SECOND TIME. Refunds aren't possible and even if I was aware of the charges I was receiving, this website does not give great service anyway.

I can't send answers cause for some it said "It appears that your answer contains either a link or inappropriate words. Please correct and submit again!" and the most annoying part is that I spent a lot of time researching and answering it, its like all my time and effort is gone to waste.And idk maybe its because I'm from Phillippines and the moderator assume our language is inappropriate or something, but don't get me wrong I really like Brainly and I really want this issue to be fixed cause I just found this website a month ago and it helped me a lot and it also gives me a purpose to help students like me too that are struggling with their homework, assignments, and projects. I didn't even order, sign up or have any idea of what this company is. Yet they charged my PayPal account $79.80 Send me a receipt at 9 o'clock at night confirming my order. Ironically I was in a business meeting until 9:30 pm that night. They responded to my request for a refund by stating they had sent my test results. To which I responded what test result?
This company is a fraud and I am reporting them To the BBB, bank, and PayPal. I'm sure I can find a few others to post do not let them take advantage of you they hacked my account be aware watch your PayPal account.
So many people ask non-school questions that are absolutely disgusting and violate people's privacy. They say the site doesn't allow cheating, but there is nothing stopping a student from copying and pastign the answer write after. There is no way to avoid the disgusting things people say of there or the swear words brainly apparently prohibits. I hate it and have not had a good experience.

I've been using brainly for a while now and there is one thing that is constantly a problem. I'm doing a test and I use brainly on every question. I end up getting a 60% and I spend 20 minutes watching stupid ads. If you're gonna make us sit through and watch 30 seconds of ads for every question just to give us an answer that isn't right 40% of the time, it just isn't worth it. I also find it ironic how they are saying be honorable and your teachers will love you if you use this. My teachers would fail me if they knew how often I use this stupid website. Also you're honorable policy is a waste of time so just stop trying. Also your honorable policy is making people not use brainly, therefore losing you money because not as many people are watching your stupid ads. Basically, this website might seem like it's a good website at first look but once you get down to it you guys are just penny pinching liars that steal our time and give us wrong answers.

My phone broke and had to purchase a new phone. U would think all I would have to do is download app and login... nope. I sent a email requesting for it to be fixed from the email linked to the account I purchased it under. They claim I didn't have a PayPal under that email. Sent a screenshot of the transaction and it still wasn't enough. 7 days 6 emails still waiting for a solution on a 25$ purchase for an app that only helps 65% of the time. The app itself could be awesome with a few tweaks customer service needs a complete makeover! Like seriously they need a big meeting! Think twice before you download this company needs some work...
