In theory, the idea behind Bumble sounds good. Women make the first move so you would think you are matched with people who are really attracted to you. Reality doesn't match up! I happen to like younger women and maybe that is just unrealistic. I can't say how many times I have been matched with women and open with a respectful or humorous line and pow-they just evaporate. This happens whether I respond either based on physical attraction or common interests. So frustrating! I receive quite a few messages from women that want money or an "arrangement." Haven't met with a single person from this site after spending lots of money. Bumble charges for almost everything like spotlights, compliments, etc. I really think money would be better spent somewhere else but unfortunately I don't find the other online dating sites much better!

I was banned on Bumble 07/13/2024. I tried multiple times to reach a live representative that could explain why I was banned. I received multiple times the same response stating that the ban is permanent and that I violated community guidelines. I asked what community guidelines I broke and received two automated responses.
After an investigation and much consideration, we have made the decision to permanently block your account for being in violation of our guidelines: https://bumble.com/guidelines.
We want to make sure that Bumble remains a fun, friendly, and, most importantly, safe place to make connections, so all members must comply with our guidelines to use Bumble.

Let's not talk about the past regarding Bumble because I'm sure there are many who have positive things to say about previous years of bumble. Let me just tell you this in the last 12 months this site results in nothing but what looks like clearly under age illegals and illegals That have been transplanted into the cities they now call home. So if that's what you're looking for bumble is the place to go in addition the ratio of liberals to conservatives on this site is at least six liberals to one conservative. The number of women who love to put in their post how much they hate Trump is only measured by their weight and less than attractive appearance. Listen, I've been on this site for the last four years and nothing has been worse about this site than the last 12 months. I wouldn't find a date on this site comparable, I don't care if the woman was a millionaire. Not one dime would I pay for Bumble after seeing the flood and let me tell you I'm being generous when I call it a flood what I should call it is a meteor impact of illegal underage, girls, and women looking for Mr. Goodbar. Don't waste your money and certainly don't waste your time.

I do NOT recommend Bumble to anyone who values their time, money and has dignity. This site is an expensive crap with zero customer service. They can at ANYTIME deny your access to your account and KEEP your personal info and pics. A total game of power.

This website is 100% a scam and a lie it is worse than Tinder I signed up for a 1-month trial and put on an excellent profile for myself I only received three replies in one month and all three of them were from sex workers here in Las Vegas trying to exploit me for money.there are no legitimate females on this website whatsoever

I met Bruno Poirier 3 years ago. He is schizophrenic and bipolar and has narcissistic tendencies. He is extremely verbally and physically abusive. Also sexually perverted. He was charged with 5 counts of assault. Ladies do not get involved with this man please stay away. He will hurt you and destroy you.
I uploaded his photo.

If they block you, they will not respond to your support messages and the only thing they will say to you on social media (Twitter/X) is we respond to everyone and we don't block for just any reason. They are quick to go on defense (Look under Trustpilot), but they will never fix their problem. Tons of people have been wrongfully blocked and it has never been fixed.
Do not use this site, I had only been on the site for 2-3 weeks, and if you read the terms and services, they pretty much keep track of the photos you have/had posted and of your IP address and phone number so if you try to make a second account you will be banned instantly.

At some point they decided to verify my photo. I sent them several pictures. They rejected all of them. Their requirements are ridiculous like "You copy the pose exactly", "Your photo matches your profile pictures". Do I have to go back in time? Do I have to drive 100 miles to the forest I had as background? They claim they use facial recognition software. Probably from 19th century.

Yet another bad review for bumble. Surprise, surprise (sarcasm). They banned me. I contacted bumble support several times to ask why I was banned. They refused to let me know. Fine. Don't tell me. Leave me in the dark. Well. If you choose not to tell me what I did wrong, at least refund me. Give me my money back. They also refused to refund me. Avoid bumble. Choose another dating app

Super slecht.

The female profiles on this site all seem to like hiking, horse riding, yoga, wine, cheese, gin, the gym, and running.
Photos showing a selfie in the gym, crossing the finish line at races, or petting their horse.
Common pre-requisites from the women who are looking for their "partner in crime" include:
"must be able to make me laugh"
"must have nice teeth"
"Must have good banter"
"must have a beard"
Completely false, laughable and depressing at the same time.
Fake profiles and time wasters everywhere, verification means nothing.
The algorithm means you'll find your successful activity lasts around 1-2 weeks, after which your profile will be banished to the wilderness of Bumble, resulting in no more matches, and you'll have seen all there is to offer in the local area.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.
Avoid this site like the plague.

All men beware! I have been bumple for a while and after a lot of swipes this has been my experience. There is rarely a real profile there. Bumble tries to keep you swiping and pay for premium features such as 'compliment', 'super like', etc. Occasionally you will get a match and start texting only to get no response after a text and then eventually be 'unmatched'. Sometimes you send a 'compliment' to someone and get an out of context scripted message and then no response either after!
It ismnot only frustrating but disappointing to know that you are being swindled by an App that calls itself legit. Contacting bumble support for help is impossible. They don't respond to your messages either! Bumble is similar to a scamming 'call center' overseas, but only right here!

I'm sure plenty of legitimate bans are placed each day on creeps and solicitors, but I'm a normal guy who just randomly had his account deleted without warning or reason. Customer support has also ignored me completely.
Date of experience: May 5, 2023
I should add that occasionally I do get about 1 contact every 2+ months from Bumble. My profile has professionally taken photos from a photographer & looks really good {IMO}.
Women I've talked to get 200+ responses PER DAY from Bumble. My target age range is also higher: I'm looking for educated, in-shape, women in the 53-63 age range. I myself am 60 but am in very good shape. Thus ratios are highly skewed (no women// many men). They will automatically renew you unless you put the renewal date in a calendar & make sure to cancel just before that date.
You can get customer support if you complain enough. I think support is not US-based but not sure.
Tip for consumers:
try to meet people at events instead

Usual process of when a guy signs up, you'll get one tailor-made contact from an incredible woman. This is fake. She'll be gorgeous, have exactly your same interests, and will seem friendly and interested in you. After a few exchanges, her profile will disappear and you'll get no more contacts from her.
I think all the online dating services do this to lure in guys. After this, there'll be no more contacts from eligible women.

They just want you to pay for everything, even to send a message or see who likes you for separate, too expensive, technical issues, fake profiles, no customer service, botched features, worst experience ever! I want my money back, but they already stole it. STAY AWAY save a headache!
Tip for consumers:
This site just want to rip you off your money, use another dating app please if you don’t want to have a heart attack

MY Bumble account was active for a few months. Even had a couple dates. BUT, that was after wasting a ton of time and $ on fake profiles. The way they work is the more attractive the Lady the more likely its a fake account. Then they Blocked my account after I responded to a female who made rude comments to me about my age, race, and hair color lol. Yes, they blocked me for responding in a semi negative way, " no foul language btw" to her insults. She is still on there, of course... Sexist, Racist to support her like that, you tell me?
Tip for consumers:
Was quick and easy.

SOO lame. How many people turn off the notifications on this app because it's constantly sending annoying reminders to use itself, which has the opposite effect of facilitating communication among users and potential lovers? Why is there some god awful time limit on making a first move? Every one knows men are prime movers, I though at first this was some nudge to make women more culturally assertive but you cannot attack some thing which is innate. I've had a 99% match vanish rate with interesting people where a real conversation and connection could have happened because I'm not incessantly addicted to my phone as the company seems to want all their users to be. With no free perks and no incentive for matches to start a dialogue I, as a man, simply am not interested in using their deeply demoralizing platform.
Tip for consumers:
Just get on hinge

Be wary of this sketchy, scam site.
1. They'll hide the cancellation option and continue to auto bill you each month
2. There's men dressed up as women on the women's side
3. There's prostitutes and prostitution on the app
4. Customer service is impossible to contact or unhelpful for the rare time they do reply
5. Fake profiles of models
I could go on but you get the idea. Use at your own risk!

Some 70% of men I had matched with and initiated a conversation don't ever reply! Or unmatched me soon after I started talking to them. Why are you matching then? What is wrong with you? Playing mind games or something? This app must be an ego booster for men and nothing else. I should add that I am attractive tall woman, and good at holding a decent conversation, so can't understand this.
I have now deleted Bumble and will never use again!
Date of experience: August 16, 2023
The woke chick who started the app won't even allow users to sort potential matches by race. So you'll be scrolling through countless people you're not interested in. And dont even think about posting a photo of yourself enjoying a sport like skeet, sporting clays or hunting because guns= "evil". Theyll delete the photo Woke garbage app.

I paid for a lifetime membership - BIG mistake!
The entire premise of this website is sexist. The company claims it "empowers women" but it does so at the expense of men. Women get to make the first move, but 99% of the time, the women just let the clock run out and after 24 hours, the match just disappears. Guys, this website is terrible. Women swipe right on men (and my guess is dozens of men at a time) and then they sit back and do nothing. Meanwhile, the guys have to wait until the woman initiates the conversation. This so-called "empowerment" goes against how men and women have been socialized for centuries. Joining this site was a big mistake. Do NOT upgrade to a paid membership, but even better, avoid this site like the plague.
Tip for consumers:
Men: Do NOT use this site. Women swipe right on dozens, if not hundreds of profiles, and because men are forced to wait until the women initiate a conversation, 99% of the time, you are wasting your time and money.

After a friend accidentally pressed a button, resulting in me buying a Spotlight feature, worth £44.99, I contacted Bumble to make them aware of the mistake. All I got back was some robotic response saying it's in the Terms and Conditions and can't be rectified. I'm now going to be in rent arrears due to this, resulting in more stress at an already stressful time. I received no empathy at all. This is how they make their money. How ironic that a company trying to promote love, lacks compassion and any kind of humanistic response. If I could give them zero stars then I would.

Bumble is fake. Prior to paying for a 6 month subscription, they "claimed" that I had 10 "likes" waiting for me. After my subscription payment was processed, those "likes" disappeared. For 6 months I received only four "likes." Then, to prove it's a scam, the day after my subscription ended, Bumble tells me that I have 9 new "likes" and that I would need to purchase another 6 month subscription to view their profiles. I actually tried to cancel the subscription within 30 days of my first day with Bumble, but they refused to provide me with a refund. Bumble is a joke. Please don't waste your money. Trust me.

I love the "women message first" concept that Bumble runs on as a businesswoman who knows exactly what I'm looking for. I met my current boyfriend on here, would never manage that on an app like Tinder. Glad bumble exists in a time like this.
Date of experience: April 4, 2020
It feels like a scam, a gimmick, a trick somewhat.
It showed my friend 4 matches, but when he actually paid for the premium, the matches reduced to 1.
They are just making money off men. We emailed their support, and they didn't even reply.
Do yourself a favor and don't install bumble if you like your money or if you have any self-respect.
Also, the reviews seemed way too positive, I think they are paying for fake reviews. I can understand women rating the app higher, but for men, it's not very useful and I am surprised how high the review is.
Tip for consumers:
DON'T USE IT

Bumble has changed the way people date, find friends, and the perception of meeting online, for the better. Women make the first move. On iPhone + Android.
