Buyee

They are a bunch of useless robots, who will happily charge you for useless service. When it comes to problem, they can't even rectify it in time. It took them ages to just fix a simple document typo with DHL in my case.

I love do my shopping at my favorite website is Mercari where I can buy genuine Japanese items which I never find anywhere else. They helps me to bid and get it very easily and conveniently. Without their support, I won't able to enjoy those products on my wishlist.

Worst customer service, i waited 5 hours and no one responded on their online customer support.
And there is no number to call so you can only either wait for them to reply your email (which is extremely slow) or their ridiculous online support. I will not use them ever again.

Their site was down and I was unaware my shipping payment didnt go through

Happened to check and it had racked up storage fees and was now going to cost me $70 to ship an item worth less than the shipping.

No emails or reminders that my order is in limbo and I get punished? Dude never again.

Shipping and service fee is quite cheap compared to other online shops which ships from japan. As most of the websites which i want to shop at doesn't ship to my country, i always go to buyee as it is very convenient and easy. Could find many rare japanese idol merchandises which made me satisfied

I made an order with Buyee to ship my package using Seamail and payment went through without any issue.
A few days later Buyee contacted me saying JP post returned my package because it's oversized for Seamail. (Their system told me nothing about the dimension of the shipment at the checkout page)
Now my only option is DHL, which is triple the price. They denied my refund and refused my request to split shipment into smaller packages.
I now have to call my credit card company and file a fraud dispute because they pulled a bait and switch on me, ate my payment, and holding my shipment hostage.

Update:

I filed a dispute case with my credit card company, since buyee had no proof of delivery, they favored me on the case after a month of investigation. On the same day I got my full refund, buyee got pissed and deleted my account, but who cares, it's the last time I will ever use them.

I use Buyee regularly for my purchases on Japanese websites. Easy to use once you are familiar with the process. Shipping can be pricey, however Buyee does have promotions from time to time so you will have some savings.

Try avoid this proxy website if you can.

First, they have the worst customer service.

Second, They charge package consolidation fees and other nonsense fees.

Third, there is no sense of warning Billing and Shipping addresses differences so they will not cancel after you

Paid for shipping, which is ridiculous.

I never had a problem with other Japanese proxy buying website except for BUYEE.

Again, I would not recommend BUYEE for someone who is trying to buy stuff in Japan through a proxy website.

Im so pleased with the customer service. They reply so fast when you have questions about anything you buy then the website is very fast especially when im using the yahoo bidding and they offer direct shipping.

I joined up and won to items, I wanted to pay via PayPal but their system prompted that there was an error. I contacted PayPal and was told the issue was not from their end. Even though it was a bank holiday, I managed to verify with my bank that the issue is not from their end either. Hence I proceeded to contact buyee to inform them of my problem. However, before I could get a reply from them, my account had been blocked. Feeling frustrated as I took the trouble just to want to pay (do you know the difficulty in getting a response from the bank during a bank holiday) I decided to just give up on their website all together. Fours days later I got a reply from buyee saying that my account has been unblock and that I have an outstanding with them even though the error message issued was not resolved. Hence I have decided to just ignore them as how they have ignored me. To those who wishes to join them, my advice is to look for a better alternative instead.

I've used Buyee quite a few times recently (both for Yahoo Auctions and Mercari), and overall I've found them to be efficient and their fees reasonable. I have purchased laptop parts that are much more expensive outside Japan and using the small packet service this keeps shipping costs low.

I have been with Buyee for over 2 years now, They offer continued 5 Star Service. Customer Service returns my emails promptly when I have a question. They have gone out of the way during the Pandemic to make sure our experience continues to be the best!

Buyee contacted me saying that because they didn't put my full name on the package, I had to pay for shipping a second time to fix the error. I had no choice but to pay double the cost for my package, and it was delayed by 2 weeks due to a mistake on their company's part.

I used Buyee for the longest time to get items in Japan. For most time, I am very satisfied with the service. Most of the times, I would buy high value items and with this, all the other costs seems very reasonable especially with the care they take in repacking and sending. In less expensive items, then the service do seem a bit high. The only thing I feel that Buyee could improve or help or do more are when I buy big works of art that are framed. It would have been nice if they can remove the work from the frame and sent them rolled in a tube rather than send the whole thing as is, as the costs were prohibitive. Having said that, I do understand that it is a big ask.

I have been using Buyee for almost a year now and have not once been disappointed with the awesome service they provide! I highly recommend using them over other proxy sites as they have more available shopping options!

I bought a foldable bike and needed to communicate with their support team over a number of issues.

- The wheels came inflated and they needed me to approve either deflating them or removing them before shipping.
- After deflating the wheels, the quoted shipping price went from $130 to $440, prompting more questions from me regarding dimensions and whether or not the bicycle was folded.
- It wasn't folded but it would cost $30 to fold.
- From the dimensions provided, the price of $440 was not correctly calculated based on the formula provided, which I informed them.
- They eventually adjusted the shipping price to $330 for 2 day shipping (I opted not to have it folded in case of damage)
- The most painful thing about all of this is that they reply once a day, and it was very difficult getting through to the live chat system.

My item arrived well packed. I would not recommend using this service for the difficulty in communicating with them alone.

Buyee has a great variety of clothing with great prices. It is sus that after my item is shipped to their warehouse I have to ship it again. I haven't received my package yet, but it has only been 2 days since i shipped it. I also wish sellers where more specific about their sizing.

Support stated on their email that "I had to pick my item up from the customs" which is a lie, the item gets brought to your address by your local post office or you have to pick it up from the post office if they can't find you. And they aren't giving a refund for either the shipping cost or the item cost either. And I have no way to get my item now. Buyee is a service that scams overseas customers.

I am using buyee for a while now and I am very satisfied with this platform. There is so much good deals, you can find high-end and luxury items for a reasonable price. Also, buyee customer service is always highly responsive and careful.

As proxy for international buyer, the site is very user friendly. Though there is a lot feature missing from original site. Buyer have multiple option for payment and shipping with estimated time and cost.

So, rewind three weeks ago, I've just purchased a Sony aibo Robo dog. He was 600 USD and shortly after the pup arrived at the warehouse, they terminated my account? These *ssholes ruined a birthday gift for my girlfriend! And they all refuse to help me and won't do anything about it! So I believe my package might be auctioned off now this is such bull$hit I'll never use buyee again their service $#*!! N sucks.
