Buyee

Well, when I started using this site I was happy with its service, because I only bought one item at a time. The problem came when I was charged the infamous package consolidation fee, which is nonsense, and some of my colleagues had the same problem; it does't make sense and feels like scamming your clients. Their costumer service doesn't provide an explanation always and they're inflexible, they do not help the costumer. Also, if an item comes in a bad condition there's no way to get refunded. I'm very disappointed at this moment.

Been using Buyee (linked to Tenso.com) services quite a few times already. Quite disappointed at their International Shipping Fees charged, which is highly priced for small and lightweight items. Customer Service Agents standard is average, you have to write to enquire with them about your order then they will respond; otherwise you'd would not hear from them. Recent experience of using Buyee service to purchase a very small and lightweight (item was below 70g), their Warehouse did not bother to look into the item's size but instead packed the very small item into a much larger package in order to charge on the volumetric weight which is pretty illogical and charging much higher International Shipping fees for the very small item. Would recommend anyone to consider looking at alternative providers which also offer buyer shopping services for shopping sites in Japan, at a more competitive price.

My favorite website is Japan Yahoo auction where I can buy genuine Japanese items which I never find anywhere else.
Buyee helps me to bid and get it very easily and conveniently.
Without their support, I won't able to enjoy those products on my wishlist.

I decided to use DHL which is quite expensive option but worth using its service.
I received the item the very next day as it is intact.
I always love their promotions such as international fee or service fee discount. It is worth buying the rare items through Buyee.

Great service! Helpful customer support, and very fast shipping. Highly recommended company! They offered coupons while bidding, make the payment, shipping to the warehouse, and shipping to customer. Several options can be use for shipping with wide range of cost and speed.

Terrible customer services especially for international shipping! They charge a lot for shipping fee, also split one package to two package without informing to me. The. They want to charge me 2 times for shipping fees. When I ask them to verify the packages, they refused for helping. Buyee 's services don't like topical Japanese companies' services, but really like some Chinese guys doing scams!

- As a monolinguist American, trying to shop on a Japanese with, primarily Yahoo Japan, I need a bridge between languages and cultures. Buyee fills that gap. Proving a great service.
- The down side is the service frequently cost more than the products I buy. However, Buyee is a business and need to make money, so I understand, and choose to accept it.
- In general I have not been disappointed. Except lately, the Buyee pop-up assistant has been slow to get a response or give up waiting. Perhaps a part of COVID-19 effects on business.
- Packaging, usually good. I collect stamps, and their repackaging usually destroys the original shipping stamp's.

I have used Buyee for about two years now and, for the most part, am very happy with my experiences with Buyee. Their customer service is excellent and responds quickly to inquiries. I especially like shopping via Buyee to purchase things from Mercari.

I also appreciate how they handled the various shipping problems (due to COVID19), by offering to store packages in their warehouse until the restrictions are lifted, and also offering to repackage packages that are returned to their warehouse.

I'm taking off one star for their international shipping fee, it is absurdly expensive in comparison to other e-commerce sites based in Japan. I would shop with them more if they didn't charge such high costs for their international shipping.

Been using Mercari especially for Mercari purchases, and it's easy. I use Paypal, since they won't accept cards- well my cards atleast. They ship the items within 2 days as well after payment and they got a lot of options, and you can even request them to downsize the weight of your item. The only thing though is they do not allow modifying the prices. Hahahaha!

I am ordering so much with buyee, they are always fast and the service is top! I never had lost or damaged goods and I love how I can always pick the lowest shipping service (to Germany) Thanks for the great service! =)

I want to hug every employee of Buyee. I heard some people say that Buyee is bad before, but I personally think it's really convenient of a site. It's a generous site. And I hope that they can know that they are very important for my life!

It's about 5 years since I use Buyee. I'm really appreciated with its service. I don't need to deposit some fund to start bidding from Yahoo Japan Auction. Just pay what I win, I like this function. Buyee also help me buy from many famous shopping website such as Rakuten, Mandarake, Surugaya and Mercari. And Buyee offer a wide range of shipping methods, so I can choose the best way to ship my parcels. Moreover, the best thing about Buyee is its customer service. The team always accept my selfish requests and serve as I need. I'm very happy about it and I will continue use it more and more! But there is only thing I really want Buyee to allow users edit a declare value of parcel. I hope one day Buyee will.

I've been using this proxy for a little under a year with no problems. Often times when people have run into issues, their problems have been with the sellers themselves and not the proxy, and while I've dealt with issues with sellers Buyee is always swift to fix them! They're also generous with coupons and their shipping is always super fast! Can't recommend them enough.

Please consider and replace nilon bag which you packing goods.

I use this service quite a lot, it's a very good service. I am glad they have the option for mercari. Shipping can be expensive, also the fees, not sure if that's there fault though. I use the service quite often.

Everything is very simple to use, just be carefull about shipping cost, it's different than on eBay, you will paid local and international shipping together at the end, before shipping, and not at the end of the bidding process.
Shipping costs are not clear on all yahoo auctions, but I love to search new items on Buyee, and filters are very efficient.

I was eligible for a coupon but despite the web page showing the deducted amount, when I finalized it paypal deducted the amount without the coupon. I contacted customer service and they admitted that I was eligible for the coupon but they would not refund me the amount which is very disappointing. Stick with the alternatives like zenmarket.

Shopping at Mercari at Buyee is very simple and the service quickly orders the products we bought. I have bought clothes with Buyee and I have more orders planned. Promotions are often and their offer is beneficial for users. I recommend this service, products come well packaged.

Buyee keep on updating me that they try contact seller since 1 month now. But no to avail. I had paid for it but seller still not post it to buyee. And what buyee only update me they still cannot contact seller.

I dont know how long and how many times will buyee update me on the same status again and again. Buyee expect me to consolidate other items and leave out the pending item, and ship internationally once the 1 item arrived, which will cost me a fortune to post it internationally. I want to consolidate to save the postage charges, but option buyee advice me is an expensive one.

Are buyee expect me to spend more in buyee so it is worth it to do international postage? Seems like its a strategy to make people other country to spend more in buyee.

Feel cheated by buyee.

I highly recommended using Buyee.jp for JDM item. I did more than $10,000 transaction with them and I do not have any issue. The customer service of Buyee.JP is very helpful if you are not sure about the product.

I have purchased a lot of items on Buyee such as magazines and music products. It's a great place to find some rare items for a very reasonable price. Shipping isn't actually too expensive and comes relatively quickly! I really enjoying using Buyee I just wish the service fee wasn't 500yen as it can bump up the price of smaller items quite quickly.

I bought mostly fountain pens, watches, and arts items from Yahoo! Japan Auction though Buyee as the agent. I think they do an excellent job In responding to customer enquiries. Also Buyee staffs also do an outstanding job in packing up parcels, which in my own opinion, is reliable and safe. Buyee is also improving on business promotional parts as they are frequently giving out more complimentary coupons and discounts to Mercari and Yahoo! Japan Auction users. However there is also some drawbacks -- the flat rate of 500 yen agent service fees; In some occasions, the item prices (or other cheap stuff) is less than even 500 yen of service fees, this flat service rate policy sometimes involuntarily prompts me to consider buying more "luxury" or "expensive" stuffs and this make me "psychology more balance".
In overall, I rate them the highest agent buying company compare to Zenmarket or BuyJapan etc...
