After finishing the QA Automation course at Careerist I started to seek my first Software Tester job. Let me tell you right away – it wasn't easy. I was sending my resume to companies across the nation and I got zero or formal response, so after a couple of months, I became quite unmotivated. Eventually, I set up a Linkedin account. After 3 days I got contacted by a recruiter, had an interview and in fact got my first commercial job in software development. So it took me 3 months to find my first job. I should add that I didn't accept that first tester job offer. I chose a job less related to testing because it had better benefits.
This course taught me about UX design and where to go for more information. Therefore, it's also true that I think this course is an excellent place to learn about UX and would absolutely recommend it. This course is open to all. From a linguistic standpoint, the low cost and features are advantageous to those who access from locations with poor connection, and they also consider factors like neurodiversity in their formulation and methodology (the videos are brief and mixed with text and images, making it simpler for those with ADHD to follow along, for instance).
The Manual QA course was essential to me in many ways. I was able to learn the basic requirements in becoming an tester. I also learnt some of the hands on technique with some real life applications. The workshop has indeed benefited me in making disirable decision to be part of the forthcoming QA testing full class.
Careerist has a friendly, caring, and supportive staff. The instructors are knowledgeable, informative, and approachable. At Careerist, I experienced the strong sense of community amongst the administrative staff, the instructors, and the students. Because of this atmosphere, I've achieved my goals of obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills for an entry-level position in the IT field. Furthermore, due to the reputation of former students from Careerist working in the IT community, I was given opportunities to be interviewed for entry-level positions in the IT field. Today, I am currently working in the IT field and enjoying every aspect of it. Attending the Tech Support course was truly a blessing for me.
I have attended the Sales Engineer course with Careerist. In my opinion they are the best in terms of relevancy and content. From the tutors and fellow delegates to the learning materials, I have always found that I come away feeling inspired and with valuable new tools and techniques that I can implement into my IT job.
It's an OK course, but it's NOT going very deep into the topics. It goes a little deeper about Jira. If you have 0 knowledge about PC, this will be harder to learn, but it is enough to become a tester or pass an interview.
This Manual QA course touches on realistic examples that may potentially occur in the software testing field. Undergoing this course allows us to have a better idea of the prinsiples andinstruments involved in QA. The information is really detailed and beneficial.
Careerist is an excellent course provider and their delivery is coherent and informative. They managed to maintain a high level of quality delivery over a 2 months course on Systems Engineering. I have since gone back and listened to the podcasts which assist in keeping my information current and relevant. The podcasts are designed to be excellent bitesize pieces of information which have the added benefit in that you can listen to them at your convenience and when your schedule allows. I have the benefit of a constant refresher course at my finger tips.
I finished this school Sales Engineer course 1 year ago. It's like any school, the hands on experience is constantly improving and more is being offered. But let me tell you what this school really offers: ITS A SUPPORT SYSTEM I am about to finish my associates degree at the age of 35. I've had a very non-traditional and abusive upbringing… mentally I am not made for traditional schools… not to mention right before I enrolled, I lost my husband and gave birth to our child. The time I studied there has not been any easier, (and neither have I,) but they still worked with me, and even calm me down when it's really not their job. They kept me going when I wanted to quit. I hands down was not afraid of how I am going to support my child for his life BECAUSE of this school. I got so much more than an education. Yes it expensive but you honestly get more than what you pay for.
JobEasy provided fantastic service as I'm currently working full time and am further progressing in my tech career.
Highly recommend the course and the company, the customer service and team worked very closely with me;
Thank you!
The material Careerist offers is superb and their team is incredible. Every single person I've interacted with have been amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, the material is excellent and the course is very well structured. My favorite part has been the mentorship. Thank you for this.
The courses are concise, systematic, and cover all topics necessary to find a QA job. After two months of internship, I found a permanent QA role in a local company. Careerist equipped me with the necessary skills and the local experience I needed.
I took the Tech Sales Training course and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for all of the help and support Careerist provided to me during the course. I think I can honestly say that I would not have been able to successfully finish the course and find my first tech job that fast without their invaluable assistance. I would like to voice my appreciation to the entire team at Careerist for their support in this effort.
My Careerist experience with IT career track was very positive and provided me with a very useful skillset. The curriculum is very good, though it would not hurt to include a bit more of tools. By far the most useful portion to me was the support and insight provided by the mentor program. This is one of the main reasons I chose this school over others and I was not disappointed.
I decided to take the career path in UX Design, and wanted to learn more at Careerist course. I learned a lot, and I can discuss any process of UX Design, which I couldn't before. My advise to beginners is to study and practice hard to fight for a UX/UI Designer rule. Then, you will understand the basics of UX research, like planning research studies, conducting interviews and usability studies, and synthesizing research results. Not many courses go as deep in research as this one, so, enjoy it.
QA Automation corse was very helpful and interesting. The major benefit was learning how to approach software tests with a process instead of in an unfocused way. This training will certainly help me in all of my daily QA job. This training will certainly help greatly.
What I loved the most about the UX Design course is that it's designed to be hands-on. I learned design in Figma, built a portfolio, completed an internship, and — with the help of a mentor — landed a high-paying job in a couple of months. During the course we were given various assignments and projects that helped us apply the concepts we learned in class. This not only helped me understand the material better but also boosted my confidence in my ability to perform as a UX Designer. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to build a career in tech. It's an investment that will pay off in the long run, and I'm confident that the skills I've gained from this course will help me succeed in my future endeavors.
I really enjoyed the Sales Engineer course. I wanted to get an introduction to tech sales so that I can add value to my desire to work in IT. I was surprised at how creative tech sales. It is not just a language of its own but I really think it's an art/design medium of its own. I feel like I have gained enough knowledge to be able to liaise better with custommers and to be able to offer more tailored services to them.
From the free webinar about the Sales Engineer course, I found value in tools and frameworks that can be applied in the job of tech sales engineer. Sales process is one of the key components for success almost in any industry. This clapurse has been very helpful to me in getting a good grasp of key frameworks, strategies, and concepts of consultative selling. I now have the confidence to engage with clients, and lead the sales process effectively for the company I currently work for.
I really had a good experience with Careerist and I have learned so much and found the course one of the best technical courses I have attended. Even with a deep knowledge of IT, I had no clue about the process of testing and it was very easy for me to talk with my mentor, which made me more comfortable with asking for feedback.
