I have tried Match, Hinge, eHarmony, and others. This site is so full of fake profiles it was a waste of money. Pictures of beautiful 25 year olds (that say they are 40) with no detail. When they write they wont talk on the phone. If it isnt a woman texting me, then who is it? Gross.
Most men reaching out to me are either asian and 20 years younger than me or they are lumberjacks who are widowers from Europe. Lol- I never saw so many lumberjacks in one place. They all want my phone number after 5 minutes of texting and leave the conversation when i hesitate to give it. Once, i shared s google number and the left the conversation as well.
Coffeemeetsbagel is full of professional "chatters" who try to hook you with sexy photos and gain your interest with all possible means. They want to milk money from you so they are ready to talk to you 24/7. I was able to find a few decent and legit sites, i.e AFFlirts.com
I met my girlfriend there. I think it's smaller than Coffeemeetsbagel, but they police their platform better and they ferreted out all scammers. Coffeemeetsbagel is doing the opposite: they encourage scammers as long as these scammers have sexy photos. They accept scam because they are con artists themselves and they operate on a fraudulent work model. Avoid it at all costs!
I'd say 90% of the profiles are fake. Always same trend. Always "travel pictures" around the world. Never any local pictures. Every match except 1 has been a scam. Do not subscribe
More than half the men I've been matched with are scammers. Most are from Eastern Europe. So stupid - they report getting a degree from a university in Estonia or Macedonia and then claim to be longtime residents of my state.
He claimed to be from Montreal, basically from his mobile no. He also got a Hong Kong mobile no. Pictures from him mostly taken at home and HK. We texted and called for almost 2 years. Claimed his bank account in Canada being blocked because his Turkish accountant failed to file proper tax record and keep asking for money for different purposes. Trying to contact CMB if can find his profile for reporting to police.
I've been meeting girls from FlingFinder.club and it always works fine. Their girls are genuine, and the best proof of their sincerity is their consent to talk on phone and Whatsapp.
My recommendation is to stop wasting money on Coffee Meets Bagel, it's utter scam and absolute disgrace since their women are paid to chat with you and to keep you hooked. The women refuse to message via a free service no matter what. You can be assured that they are in love not only with you. They love everyone who pays for the chat.
Nine out of ten profiles are fake. They will say they prefer to chat on WhatsApp etc.
So it's more difficult to be reporter. They are always not near your location and will find many excuses for not meeting up but very glad to continue chatting
My friends tell me to try this site. Because she got a BF and now 've been together for 8 years.Another one they are getting married. But no luck for me.I am still looking.lol
I haven't met scammers yet.lucky me but I have seen some scam 's profile that post here.It still active on CMB tho.
This company allows so many scammers and fake profiles. In my daily dozen, usually 75% are fake profiles, they all say they're from China and use stock pictures. Just to see what would happen, I matched with a couple and they responded with the exact same sticker emoji at the exact same time. I feel bad for any Asian person who wishes to use the service to actually find a relationship because with the amount of scammers that pretend to be Chinese, they're making it difficult for women to determine who is for real. Complete waste of time.
Coffee meets Bull$#*! website is a bunch of fake profiles. I've spent over $250 on likes and not one response. On other sites I do pretty well. About 2/10 or 20%. I live in NYC. This site full of supposedly highly educated MBAs and great looking girls is so $#*!ing fake. What a joke. As bad as Tinder. DONT WASTE YOUR COFFEE OR YOUR BAGEL.
I'm a very good looking and successful guy. 6 ft tall, 153 lbs, runner actor in movies and tv.
A Zero response after $250 worth of beans purchased and used is an obvious and flagrant use of fake profiles posted on your site.
Coffee meets Bagel site is a misrepresentation of what it boasts to be. A flagrant lie and a blatant con.
Other sites I'm about 20%-30%. This site is absolutely Fake.
Their advertisements are fraud and fake. They say they don't let people continue if they are looking for "something casual"...ITS NOT TRUE.
Kept asking to upgrade to premium. I lost 50 dollars for a months subscription. The matches are pathetic and nothing as your preference. If you are smart then DO NOT fall for it.
The profiles on CMB are bogus and loads were fake ones. Hope this helps for you to make a decision is you were to subscribe...
Do not pay for anything on this app! I made that mistake and soon after they were down for the whole week of Aug 27th to today Sept 2nd (it even made BBC news if you need confirmation). Even now their service is spotty. And they won't even consider refunds for their failure to provide a minimal service during that time, just canned excuses and useless freebies that mean nothing now with the already poor experience I've had with their crappy app.
Bagels are fake. Almost never reply. Different countries same sex, repeated. Not one date in three months. This app is designed to string vulnerable males along to make as much as they can out of them. Shame
Talked for 6 weeks. He never answered (busy with work) when I called and the intense pursuit was a bit overwhelming. I want you as my soulmate... bought me a LV bag (found same pic in Poshmark) because he had to cancel our first date to go to bid for a construction job. He sent several pictures of himself throughout the weeks. Today he asked me to transfer money because he was having problems logging into his account in Cyprus and had to buy material for the mall he was building there... My brothers are 1. Robbery detective and 2. Money laundering investigator. Wrong person to try to scam. How can you be in Cyprus over 2 weeks and just now cant have access to your money.
Don't go to this site, I was there trying something new, nothing but Nigerian scam artist. One ask me to give him $50 buck gift card. "AS IF, I will give a stranger money" no way... they pray on single mothers. Be aware ladies, read into their words. I am sorry for the person who picture their using, I am sure he is not even aware his information is being used to scam women. Good thing I know scam when I see one, looks to good to be true run...
Be aware. This guy claimed that he lives in Houston, TX. A petroleum engineer, very good with his words and quite a gentleman when chatting. Horrible English but appears fluent in French. Asked for $5000! This guy named "David" maybe using stolen Facebook photos for his profile pictures.
4 fake profiles in one week... it's a shame bad folks can destroy a good business. If you're already in and paid, I recommend you request a new photo of the person making a thumbs up or a peace sign or whatever floats your boat. At least you can tell if the person is who they say they are.
More than a waste of time, it's kind of heartbreaking when you think you've finally connected with someone, and you realize they don't exist.
Met loads of scammers on this site. All had similar stories. All were not living in town but planned' to move there in two months time. Talked to you every day and then asked you for money to repair equipment. Check the photos of them.
My experience so far has been good. A lot of genuine guys, could go out and date. However, caught one scammer with no internet trail. Goes by the name of Kim Min Ho, says he's Korean. He'll ask you to quickly change to WhatsApp or WeChat and uses the number *******320. He works as an automation engineer for an offshore company in Singapore. Unlike other scammers, his modus operandi is unusual. He will message you in the morning, lunch hours and after office hours. He's not eager and will not ask for your personal information. He only asked for USD 1500 three months after matching on CMB. He will also not shy away from telephone calls but will not do video calls because of his 'work'.
Just putting this here so that other women will be aware and that this poor chap who's identity has been used can be made aware.
Answer: If they ask for money, it's a scam. Think about it. Would anyone really want to date someone who only needed money? No! That's why they come in so strong to get a strong "connection" going so you think you're more invested than just a dating relationship. ITS.A. SCAM.
