The prices are crazy high. The automated service is awful. (Pushing so many buttons for a recording). The majority of their call center employees do not speak proper English and are VERY hard to understand. (BTW my last name is Flores yet I speak very well) again I must reiterate THE PRICES ARE HIGH! And lastly just in 2023 they have lost 12% of overall business and it is my goal to see them lose even more so they will bring their prices down.
I cancelled my account 2 months ago. I was still charged for the account. When I tried to get a refund, I was only refunded half. I had to call again to get that sorted out and asked a SECOND time if it was cancelled and I was assured it was. Then today I was charged 80 dollars for the supposed cancelled account. Now I've been assured THREE times my account is cancelled. But I have cancelled that card, so you can't charge me anymore anyway. I will NEVER use ANY kind of comcast service again.
I have been a loyal customer for 4 years. I was going to move because of my job, but it fell through. So I canceled the order and reconnected my current address. Four months later the job came through and I moved. I discovered that the first order had not been canceled. They had been taking my money for both accounts. Every day when I came home my internet was off becauseofnon payment. I called every day and every day they said they took care of it. Still every day it was off. For 4 years my payment was made by automatic payment. I can't believe how unhelpful they were. I will never use this company again. They literally stole my money and won't give it back.
When needing tech support, you can't get past the auto recording. If you say no, you will not take the survey, it will hang up on you. When you ask for tech support, it will reset your modem EVERY time. TERRIBLE.
I was told that I need a tech to come out for something that was not my fault. When I recieved my bill I was charged for it. I called in and they told me it was my fault that the remote was not sending a signal to the box at 2am in the morning. The remote was working fine all day then stopped. How could this be my fault. They would not wave the fee, only discount it. I still had to pay $20 for an issue I could not control. I'm pissed. I hate comcast and soon I'll be moving back to AT&T!
Comcast, Comcast... you GAUGE consumers (I was paying $85 a month for Internet ONLY, and got tired of it and cancelled.). When I called to cancel, the "customer service" rep offered me a lower rate:
ME: No thanks. You could've offered me that rate much sooner, and you chose not to. Now I'm mad, and going to another ISP.
HIM: Are you saying you EXPECT US to call you, and OFFER YOU the lower rate? The deals are all over the internet!
ME: Yes, that's what I'm saying.
HIM: Companies don't do that: call you, offer you the lower rate. You gotta call US.
ME: They do, actually. My mortgage is with Quicken Loans, and when I can get a better rate... THEY call ME.
HIM: So what if I can give you a lower rate?
ME: Nope. Still mad.
Comcast, in other words, is happy to exploit customers until their custmoers wise up. It's so sad, to see a company do this. Their technicians are pretty good... just, overall, not worth the money whatsoever. Wish I had left sooner.
BS COMPANY... Had cable problems for over 3 1/2 years... Finally got them to find problem & fix it... then my contract date changed to a Year longer... wtf?... to many commercials & the length of commercial breaks is rediculous for the prices they charge... NEVER GIVE THEM A PENNY!
While living in FL my service was Spectrum. It was less than desirable. Now with Comcast, you are worse than Spectrum. Often, screen breaks up and no sound, screen frozen and no sound or the screen just gets dark...then the usual...welcome, benvinido, benvenue. Happens often.
We've had problems with Comcast for many years. We used their internet service for our business, which was hit or miss depending on the day. In January of this year, we lost internet service and asked them to repair it. After 4+ months of having NO SERVICE, they insisted we should continue to be charged. We closed our account because they never sent anyone out to repair the service. We paid over $700 in this time, and received no credit or refund from Comcast. After we closed our account, they continued to charge us monthly. After going to collections, and paying the amount due, we are now out over $900 due to fraudulent charges from Comcast. I will NEVER US THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!
When they send you a late bill, they always cut off service days befor the date listed on the bill, and they make sure to shut it down befor things like the superbowl. If you pay your bill on time thier service is great, so just rember to pay on time. Also dont fall fo thier own a movie scam, if you cancel thier service the movie you own is gone. Spend 2 bucks more and get it on blueray.
Comcast is an absolute mess. One department has no idea what the other is doing. They have created an entire year of problems for our business and I would not recommend anyone ever use their services. They had outages for months. Their security software is a joke and blocks their own website, they have bad billing practices and inconsistencies. The corporate resolution team is a joke. Usually no call backs from any corporate employees and when they do call and leave messages they leave disconnected numbers. The amount of time spent on the phone in the last year alone just dealing with issues is more than 40 hours at this point. DO NOT TRUST YOUR BUSINESS SERVICES WITH THEM!
2 hours disconnected 4 times simply because you want to lower your outrageous bill and you get absolutely nowhere! Nothing but thieves. We will be changing our service. I'm done with these $#*!s.
Salesman lies, customer service is garbage. They state 30 day money back guarantee yet still apply charges. Website redirects when attempting to disable autopay... bunch of BS. Makes me upset, luckly everyone we meet who needs these services like theirs will be redirected.
