Job (pronounce Hob) was fantastic on the phone. He was patient, understanding, and explained things really well. Now, I can re-set some items by myself, without having to contact Comcast and wait for hours. Representative before him was not helpful in any sense that they were unable to provide any next steps when they cannot solve the issue.
I reluctantly got a phone as the sales guy on the phone pressured me into a great deal. I tried to return phone, guy on phone says he'll email me a shipping label within 24hrs. I waited 48hrs, nothing. I call back and they say return deadline has past. At this time I tell them I only want the internet or I'm leaving this company entirely because I do not want to pay $30 for a phone I don't need. Instead they cancel the phone's service ($30/mo) and now want me to pay them $30/mo for a serviceless phone (equipment). Worst company ever. Throw a customer away after nearly 20 years for a Google Pixel 8. Low
Comcast is overpriced, unreliable and just downright scum. The speeds aren't always great, signal disappears constantly and cancelling was a pain in the $#*!. Get a different provider.
These guys basically just take your money and run. Service drops constantly, they don't give you the speeds they say they're giving you, and then they raise your rates randomly. Ugh.
This is by far the WORST customer service that I have ever received! We received our self-install kit. I tried to set up our user name and password. Had big-time issues. Kept getting the information did not match their system please call for help. So we called waited 15 mins for a rep. The rep gets on the line hardly speaks English. Talks to us for over 30 mins having us trying to log in. ACTING like she is setting up the accoutn for us. Finally says oh well I need you to speak with one of our technicians to finish. You wont have to hardly talk to him I will explain it all. He gets on the line and has no clue who I am or what is going on. We tried to explain to him. He started asking questions about is this an old address. Not making any sense at all. We finally had to just hang up as we had wasted over an hour on the phone to get no where. So then I think Ill go on and chat with someone. OH NO you have to use a user name and pass work to chat with someone. WTF why? So if we are having issues with user name and password you are SOL. This has been by far the worst! I work customer support and your support is what gives customer service a bad name!

I have had Comcast for many, many years...and though the services that they provide is outstanding, when it comes to their customer service it is the worst experiences I have ever had with any company! Every single time I have to call! First, it is extremely hard to get a live agent on the phone, not every situation can be handled by the automated service. I have been on hold right now for a live agent for 43 minutes and counting as I write this review. This is after I went on line to ask an agent to call me because I didn't care to chat, so when an agent called me (as requested) they called me from the cell phone department...I don't even have a cell phone from Comcast! So of course they had to transfer the call to a different department. (Agent answered while I was writing this review, and now I have finally had my situation resolved.) Most of the agents that I have spoken with are very nice, and knowledgeable. Please don't get this review twisted, the agents are not the problem. The problem IS actually getting an agent on the phone. I'll be completely honest, every single time I have to call Comcast I consider switching to a different provider simply because of how hard it is to get a live agent. What about the elderly, or those who aren't computer literate. It's really sad to say to that as awesome as there service is, and as much as I enjoy being with Comcast they are going to lose this customer because of their customer service center.
This company doesn't care about overcharging you this company has supervisors that literally lie to your face about your bill when you have all the proof and friendship they overcharge you for bills that they cannot explain and their customer service is just horrible if you are smart stay away from this company I went from $25 a month to a bill for $35 and yet I spoke to one supervisor and got hung up on and I spoke to another supervisor who just didn't care at the end of the day I was credited only $80 when they overcharged me almost $200 and on top of that I paid the bill and they still disconnected me the same day stay away guys stay away
I am a "supposed" cherished DIAMOND member that they just lied to about a new plan, as well as it's costs, basically forcing a phone upon me which I repeatedly said I didn't want or need. They sent the phone without a SIM card, and then a bill for twice the amount that they said it would be. I contacted them the day the phone arrived, without a SIM card, so I didn't even know the phone's phone number is and told them I didn't want it. It was never used. I asked them what I should do with the phone and they said don't worry about it, and closed my mobile account that day. Today, several months later I just recieved a letter from collections for the phone that I offered to send back or drop off. They told me it was too late to give me a shipping label because it was outside the time frame, and so I went to drop it off at one of their stores, they told me the same thing, which was basically EAT IT! I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION!
I am so disappointed giving false information every time I call never told me the true and giving false I ask to speak with supervisor and still didn't resolve my issues so ridiculous.

Comcast is the WORST Company. In the US, they have the worst customer service and my advice to the new costumers "Don't trust them" they tell you something and you would be in a hurry and you respond by saying yes you agree of course you didn't know that you got yourself into a contract that they charge you an arm and a leg for when you want to cancel. You try to call them good luck talking to a human and if someone answers after waiting forever they tell you someone will follow up with you and of course no one calls back. DONT BE FOOLED Like me. I will never ever go back with Comcast if my life depended on it. AGAIN WORST COMPANY EVER.

The network connection is bad but what's even worse is the customer service experience, especially the inefficient/unhelpful and annoying automated message system setting.
This is the worst company. I am always losing connections. They are always coming out to fix something and I work from home. I can't hardly work anymore. I am trying to find somewhere else to go.
I recently had to return a Comcast box and to re hook up the new one and I have been treated like I don't know what it's just does not make sense that Comcast treat customers the way they have been treating them and I wished it was another cable company in the area or somewhere that we can just drop them because they don't respect you they try to hurry you off the line then they call two days late they're not fix or help to set up your equipment and then have the nerve to call you when you're gone out of town because they didn't do what they were supposed to do and want to continue to talk to you about it no that's not fair and it's not right Comcast is just it just is not worth it anymore to go through the things that you have to go through and I regret the things that I have to deal with with them now

Monday I turn on my TV to find I have no cable channels. I call speak with four different people only to be told that the package I had the day before and have had since 2016 no longer exists. If I wish to have the same channels I had I need to now pay an additional 40 something dollars a month. I explained that the package I had was what I could afford. Also ask if I could just change to internet and that was going to be as much as I was paying to have cable and internet. I am so very annoyed with this company that I have been with for 7 years. How can you treat your customers this way. I spoke with four people not one of them was rude to me but how can you just take away someone's channels for no reason. This is insane and this is not good customer service. I am wondering if this couldn't possibly be Criminal. The crappy thing is there are no other options in my area. So I am stuck with only a basic package which gives me local channels that I could have and not pay anything for but in order for me to change my package I have to pay more. Makes no sense whatsoever. Comcast you need some better management. You get a rating of a one in my books. I will be glad when I can not have your service at all and I can go to someone who truly appreciates me as a customer.

Everyone here commending comcast for good service is a LIAR! Xfinity customer service is 2nd only to their internet and TV service which is the worst in the world. Comcast is in competition with AT&T to see who can be the worst and most insulting in the world. Most of the agents speak ghetto ebonics and I believe on purpose to confuse and alienate the caller. Internet service in poor neighborhoods in America is often only available from Comcast/Xfinity, Comcast knows that these people are poor and often people of color so they take advantage of their virtual monopoly. They overcharge, lie, cheat, constantly trying to pressure the poor, the elderly, disabled, or disadvantaged people to upgrade when they cannot afford the package that they already have. I am an elderly (69), disabled Vietnam Veteran living on a fixed income. I will summarize my experience in the last 6 months I tried repeatedly to reduce my Intenet/TV/Voice package. A representative convinced me using direct lies and lies of omission to sign up for a package that I could not afford. I have tried many times to downgrade to just the Internet (my contract requires me to keep 1 service of 3) until July of 2021. However, several Comcast/Xfinity customer service representatives have told me that it was not possible for me to downgrade at this time (lies). Comcast has long waiting times for their help-line. It is my opinion that the reason that any company that has customer help-lines that typically have 10+ people waiting is not providing an acceptable level of service. Have a nice day
My service was repeatetly failing but I was always charged for days that I did not have internet access. After multiple calls to their customer service (always took time to get the chance to talk to a representative; such a waste of my time) to restore my service, I decided to cancel my service. The representative told me that my registration was canceled. I kept on getting bills. Later on the costumer service did not recognize that I requested cancelation! However they could see I was not using their service (I had a new and better internet supplier) but they sent the "debth" of the service I never received to credit collection service companies! I wasted so much time (while pregnant and working) and i n the end this affected my credit score. I highly recommend finding another internet supplier with better service and better customer service. Note, I ended up paying $142 for service I NEVER RECEIVED just to fix my credit score. Stay away!
This is the worst experience I ever had with this company. Have to reboot multiple times I have not complained until now. Now I'm told by another company I have to upgrade just ridiculous
1st off. I had Xfinity mobile. If you want to change, beware. When you change, they don't tell you they lock your phone. Their customer service trying to get someone that doesn't speak broken English is impossible. I finially talked to someone to unlock my phone. They said it takes 24-48 hours. I lost money…over $500 because in my business I take orders with credit cards and since I didn't have a phone, people didn't buy. It finally took a total of 72 hours to unlock it. When I called them they also told me I had an issue with my home service and they couldn't tell me what it was and they needed to send someone out. I took a day off because they said they would be here between noon and 4. At 3:55 I got a call they were running late. I finally talked to a service guy and he said my modem is out of date. The same modem they told me I needed 2 years ago because the precious one was out of date. I called both internet and the mobile group to tell them my dissatisfaction. All I got was broken English telling me they understand my concern. Comcast is a monopoly that should be against the law

I left Comcast and went to Direct because of bad customer service nearly impossible to get someone that listens on the phone decided to go back to Comcast because their service was better than directs but direct billing and customer service was much much better than Comcast. I signed a one-year contract. I asked if there's any promotions included I was told no I asked them if this would be my correct billing Amount and I was guaranteed it would not change for 12 months bythe Comcast Rep. The first month bill was wrong the second months bill. They corrected to make the first bill right now and month nine and 10. It's wrong again. The Hermitage Tennessee location I was told by the store, manager that i should've read every line of the contract especially the small, print,. We are not wrong, we had it in the fine print the manager said. Yes i should have read it. But i went over all the points as I told him I went over with your salesman and he guaranteed me. Because these are the exact same problems I had the previous time I was with Comcast. Well, guess what they're still up to the same old tricks, they change your bill, blame it on government taxes, and inflation. I specifically said this number will be my contract amount for 12 months and it will not change and I was guaranteed it would not change. Yes it does please people read every single line of the contract. They will not honor their pricing they expect you to honor the length of your contract and they can change the price and say it's this or that Beware buyer. Beware. My contract is up in May. I will be gone in May.
I have never dealt with a company that tries very hard to avoid having a customer speak with a live customer service representative. I truly dislike this company with a passion.
Those that know me know that I am not a fan of Comcast or its business practices. As an ISP, I would expect Comcast to have high standards for internet connectivity and customer service, but in practice they are a company that are focused almost entirely on maximizing their profits at the expense of positive interactions with their customers across all fronts. Even outside of being an Internet Service Provider, Comcast has a tendency to acquire different businesses and media and turn them into profits for a short period of time before taking away the benefits that consumers find in those different businesses.
Their online services leave a lot to be desired since online resources may not be entirely factual. For example, those looking to sign up for Internet service in their area may see speeds that are claimed to be available to them only to find that they have to settle for a lesser speed since the infrastructure in their area is not able to support those faster speeds. I've personally had to deal with a number of negative interactions with their staff and the contractors they send out to fix issues with their service. Comcast, in some markets, outsources the people that are sent out to their clients to fix or connect service. This essentially becomes a guessing game on whether or not the individual will be respectful and friendly.
