Good quality choices, fasy delivery and they packed the dress really good. Thank you!
I returned 2 dresses back to Couture Candy after purchasing because they weren't what I was looking for. I returned the package with the dresses inside on approximately June 29th or 30th. The package was then "lost" for about 3 weeks. I was stressed, in contact with the Post Office, with CC customer service, fearing that the package was stolen. My son's wedding was fast approaching and I felt precious time slipping away. After I had spoken to a USPS supervisor and was discussing filing an insurance claim for the money I spent on 2 very expensive dresses, I then contacted CC customer service and told them the dresses were lost, and I needed to order 2 more Mother Of Groom gowns. My son's wedding was now 3 weeks away, and I had nothing to wear, but had spent $1,200. I was told that if the dresses were lost, that was not their problem - They would not give me store credit. I would have to spend another $1,200 for two more dresses. Then, the following day, I was notified that the dresses weren't lost at all, they were received by the warehouse on July 3rd! I unfortunately wasted a whole month with this mix up. I ordered 2 more dresses and I had 2 1/2 weeks to have them altered. Since these are gowns that can't be quickly altered, I struggled to find a place that could take my dresses. I finally found a seamstress/tailor who could alter them. The cost of alteration was over $600 hundred dollars because of added "rush fees." I also had to drive 60 miles each way to this tailor. 2 trips for fittings and the final trip to pick up on the way to my son' wedding! The customer service was on point thru all of this, but someone did not communicate from the warehouse to the office that my dresses were received ON TIME! What a stressful, frustrating experience for me, which was easily avoidable. I would like compensation for part of my altering fees because CC caused my dress buying process to take weeks instead of days. I feel that CC should pay at least 50% ($325) of the fees, to compensate for the inflated altering prices for to the "rush status." And to also show good faith for the emotional stress I suffered. Your lack of communication between departments definitely needs improvement. I'd like a written response to this email.

Suzanne Martin
The dress was package beautifully but unfortunatly the material was a bit scratchy.
We ordered an evening gown, its the wrong size that was delivered. The occasion is in 2 days time!
Couture Candy TOLD US ITS NOT RETURNABLE. WE COMPLAINED. THEN, THEY TOLD US IT WILL BE A STORE CREDIT AND AGREEING THAT IT CAN BE RETURNED. We did not approve of that. A second SEPARATE order was placed and was paid in full SINCE THE EVENT IS COMING CLOSER. It has no connection with the first order. THE SECOND ORDER WAS THE RIGHT SIZE BUT THE WAIST AND BUST WOULD NOT FIT SO IT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED AGAIN. Now, the company states its their agent who entered the right size on line. Unbelievable! They are giving mixed messages. Company worded their response that in order for us to move forward, we should accept it as a store credit UPON RETURN OF THE GOWN AND continue the second order,AND APPLY THE STORE CREDIT TO THE SECOND ORDER (WHICH WAS ALREADY FULLY PAID, BY THE WAY) BUT THE SECOND ORDER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FIRST ORDER. The return of the first gown will not take place unless you say "Yes." Our initial response was "No." THEY FORCED US TO SAY " YES."
WE ASKED FOR A REFUND OF OUR MONEY FOR BOTH.
Company does not want to make a full refund of our money, AND both dresses were paid in full $862.00 EACH
Until eventually, they consented FOR A REFUND BUT 20 per cent will be taken off for the restocking fee for both GOWNS and we will be an exception to their policy that the gowns are not returnable! We complained to our bank for a fraudulent transaction. The bank refunded us fully for the 2 gowns. Now, they communicated with our bank and they got our money back without notifying us prior that they will get 50 per cent off reactivation fee.
They gave the wrong information to our bank and insisted on their policy which was obviously misleading. I am warning all future customers to be very careful about ordering and returning your items:
AND IF YOU DECIDE TO ORDER A SECOND ONE: DO NOT PAY THE SECOND ONE IN FULL WITH YOUR SAME ACCOUNT BECAUSE THE SECOND ORDER WILL BE TIED UP TO THE FIRST TRANSCACTION, REGARDLESS IF IT IS A SEPARATE ORDER. I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY TIME WRITING THIS REVIEW BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR ORDERING. I WILL SEND ALL DOCUMENTS TO MY BANK. TECHNICALLY, IF YOU ORDER A SEPARATE ORDER (NOT CONNECTED TO THE FIRST ORDER), YOU SHOULD BE REFUNDED FOR A WROND SIZE AND FIT. BOTH GOWNS WERE RETURNED. I DO NOT SEE ANY REASON WHY THE SECOND GOWN NEEDS TO BE TIED UP TO THE FIRST ONE,
THE PREVIOUSLY $ 862 IS NOW WORTH $406.93. Another transaction is pending for the other gown.
Now, everything is STORE CREDIT! THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK. BE CAREFUL GUYS. ITS A RIPOFF! The company claims that "they won" and thEIR ADVISE: THERE is no other recourse but call our bank. However, our bank told us to call Couture. We are getting the runaround. IN SUMMARY: THEY DO NOT GIVE AN OPTION TO THEIR CUSTOMER TO SAY "NO" BUT FORCES THEIR CUSTOMERS TO SAY 'YES' IN ORDER FOR YOUR ITEM TO BE REFUNDED AS A STORE CREDIT, AND BOLDLY STATED THAT YOU CAN NOT RETURN YOUR ITEM. WE INSISTED A RETURN BUT STILL THE SECOND ORDER WENT THROUGH DECEPTION OF NOT BEING REFUNDED FULLY AND PAYMENT SHOULD BE APPLIED ATHROUGH A STORE CREDIT FROM THE FIRST ITEM RETURNED. BOTTOMLINE: YOU HAVE TO SPEAK THE TRUTH AND THIS COMPLAIN IS ALL ABOUT FRAUD.
You have deceptive transactions. You should be honest to your customers.
Nothing! That is fraud! You made it appear there is a refund but its a store credit and eventually when we complained you agreed with the refund but will take 20 per cent off restocking fee! You are giving your customers mixed messages along the way. You do not give a choice but ask customer to say "yes" and agree with your terms in order for the transaction to proceed.
