This is the first 1 star review I have ever submitted. I submitted an order on cubavera.com on December 30th, 2024 for an outfit for a wedding which was occurring on January 25th, 2025. The order was for pants and a jacket, and the website stated that I would receive the items in 3 to 7 business days. I received the pants by themselves in a matter of a few days, but almost 2 weeks after I had placed the order I still had not received the jacket. I logged into my account which confirmed that the pants had been delivered, but that the jacket was still being prepared for shipping. I submitted a message on their website requesting an update, but received no response, so I sent an email the next day. I received only an automated email response, but no details regarding my order status. I dug up a number from their website and called a day or two later, but I was redirected to Perry Ellis support. Still, they were able to look up my order based on my order number, and told me that on their end, it was showing that the pants and jacket were delivered together. I told them that I only received the pants, and that even when I log into the website it still stated that the jacket was being prepared for delivery. They said that sometimes this happens where the warehouse only has one item in stock from the order and ships it by itself. They said that they would contact the warehouse for an update. I asked them if I could get a ticket number to track this issue, but they said they were taking notes under my order number so if I needed to call again, the notes would be there. At this point, it was only about a week and a half before the wedding, so I called the same number again the next day to see if they had any update. They told me that they don't handle Cubavera orders. I told them that I had just spoken to someone about my order the day before, but they just kept repeating that they didn't handle Cubavera orders. I asked them what number I should call then, and they said that Cubavera did not have a support number, only an email. I told them that I had already emailed multiple times and received no update, and they said that they couldn't help me. I was so stunned that I checked the phone number multiple times to confirm that I was calling the same number as the day before, which I was. At this point I decided to just find a similar jacket at Macy's and I ordered it with expedited shipping and received it in time for the wedding.
After the wedding, I sent an email to Cubavera giving them 1 week to confirm that they would provide a refund for the jacket I never received and the expedited shipping I shouldn't have had to pay for, otherwise I would submit this review and file a claim with my credit card company. I only received a generic automated reply. As I write this review a month and a half after placing the order, the Cubavera website still says that they are preparing my jacket for shipping. Needless to say, I will never buy anything from Cubavera ever again.
TLDR
-Did not receive my jacket in time for event which was 4 weeks out, even after multiple emails and calls
-Was given an update by phone that the jacket should have been delivered, but was then told the next day that this number does not handle Cubavera support
-Requested a refund but never received a response, so I am now preparing to submit a claim to my credit card company
-Cubavera has terrible or nonexistent customer support, which makes no sense for a company that provides online services
