I am beyond upset this this company. The first dress I bought was ordered in brand new from the factory. When it arrived there were so many defects. It had things missing was was coming apart at the seems before I could even get it out of the bag! With that being the case I did not feel good about the quality I was receiving but I could not get my money back and go else wear because "it was past 7 days of purchase" which is completely out of my control, because I had to order the dress. So after expressing my concern and not being able to get my money back, I found a different dress that would hopefully be of better quality and I did... but when it came time to order the dress the store associated insisted that I order 2 sizes up from the size I had on in the store... when I got this second dress in and put it on it was WAY to big! I called the store and informed them of how big it was and they said to come in and see the alterations department so I did. I expressed at that very moment that I wanted to order the right size but they pretty much told me they were not going to do that and they would just alter the dress to fit. With my hands tied and having to trust these people I went for not one but two alterations appointments and each time I expressed that I was not happy with how the dress looked. The alterations completely changed the shape of the top of the dress. My dress was taken in 4.5 inches on each side for a total of 9 inches taken in on the dress because it was 9 inches too big and was ordered in the wrong size per your staff. I went back to the store to try and correct the situation and I was told that there would be nothing done but if you want to buy another dress from us I can give you 20% off... I spent hundreds of dollars on my dress and $500 ON ALTERATIONS ALL WITH YOUR COMPANY! This is just wrong... this is my WEDDING dress. This is a big deal and David's Bridal doesn't care and will not rectify the situation.
I went to the Springfield location to try on wedding dresses and had an appointment mind you, the store was crowded and I felt like the consultant working with me wasn't actually focused on the appointment. There was three other ladies she was pulling dresses for and I was looking for an era specific dress to fit my wedding theme. She pulled this Melissa Sweet dress for me told me it was the last one and that it would fit my theme perfectly, now I didn't have anyone with me so I was relying on the consultant for honest feedback about what the dress looked like on me. Her exact words were " that dress is so you, it fits perfectly and looks amazing on you" I was unsure about buying the dress and told her that she told me it was the only one and they couldn't hold it for me. Worried I would miss out I asked her about returns she told me I could return it for store credit if I didn't like it. Ok fast forward to now I am completely unhappy in the dress it doesn't feel like the dress I'm supposed to have which makes me uncomfortable and I definitely don't feel beautiful in it so I call to find out about exchanging it for something else only to find out I can't return it because it's past the 90 policy. My wedding is in 5 weeks and I'm stuck with a dress I don't want to wear because the consultant wasn't forthcoming with the information about the return policy at the appointment. The customer service lady today didn't seem to care her solution was oh well you could always sell the dress and come in to purchase a different one. Are you bat$#*! crazy lady I spent 1600. 00 on a wedding gown I'm now stuck with plus all the jewelry to go with shoes, and over $500 on dresses for my daughters who are in the wedding oh and plus shoes for them as well. Davids bridal doesn't care one bit for their customer, their experience, or their big day all they care about is lining their pockets. The fact that they don't stand behind their product or admit that consultants lie to get the sale because surprise they work off commissions. Will never go here EVER again, and everyone else should run the other way.
Very unprofessional. I wish I could give your company a zero. I went in there looking for a dress for my step daughter's wedding. I met with Dawn at the front entrance. She told me to find some dresses and I liked any to write my name down and someone would help me. I did just that. Found about 6 dresses and went back signed in. Told her I signed in and there a few dresses I was interested in. She stated so bring them and I will have someone let you into a fitting room. Called to another young Latina girl to follow me and told her that I was just trying dresses. I wish I could remember her name. The young lady excorted me to fitting room and told me if you need me to zip up your dress you can find me, I will be in the front. Left me there by myself. I had no intentions to be running around the store looking for anyone to zip me. I tried on some dresses and just put them back on the hanger went to the app and ordered straight from there. Because I was sure which one would fit accurately I bought about $1900 worth of dresses that I plan on returning since at the store there wasn't much help.
I will however give huge thanks to Nesha. She was actually working with a wedding group and saw that I had a lot of dresses in hand standing the middle of no where not knowing what to do with them. She asked me if I needed to help. She was actually the only one who did not make me feel like Maybe a was not a buying client. I will be back with my huge amount of dresses just so we can return them. Since I only needed one.
It's actually sad being the my wedding and all my brides maid dresses I bought them here before COVID and my daughter's sweet 16 and he party shortly after. And today it's not worth what it used to.
Nesha again thank you very much. I would rate you a 20 out of 5. Excellent service.
Very unprofessional and rude. You will see me again but only for returns.
We went to David's bridal in Fargo ND for a fitting with Taylor she was amazing very helpful and it was a great experience!
Priceless priceless princess experiences every time I go into Saginaw mi David's Bridal is the absolute best
First off let's start by saying I called ahead. I ordered a prom dress from a website and received it in the mail and the top piece didn't fit. No big deal I was just gonna have it altered to fit. I called ahead to David's Bridal to ask first off if they would even work on it. The lady on the phone said yes. Then I asked if I could come in now by chance for someone to look at it and possibly start on it, she said yes come right in! I live an hour away from this place and I told her this and she still proceeded to say, "that's okay we're still open". So we get there and I ask to talk to the lady in alterations and get told that she left for the day. Right there pissed me off. Then I talk to another lady asking when she would be back and this lady proceeds to say I'm gonna have to make an appointment for next week. So as mad as I already am I'm almost ready to say yes when ANOTHER employee chimes in and asks where I got the dress from I told her from a website and both of these women give me the rudest look I have ever received, put their hands up and say we can't touch it you have to go else where. So then I'm arguing with them about how I talk to the alteration lady myself over the phone and she said they would work on it no matter where it's from and these two other employees proceed to tell me that "oh she must be the newer one, she probably didn't know". IF YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF A BUSINESS YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD KNOW WHAT TO TELL A CUSTOMER! If they do not know then they should talk to a manager and tell the correct information to the customer. David's Bridal has forever lost any future purchases from me which is a shame because I've bought a couple from the past and have seen a few wedding dresses that I really like. But with service like that and the fact that the 2 ladies I dealt with in the store were so rude about it as if it were my fault absolutely killed any liking I had left for the store. I will never again buy from there and I advise others not to have to deal with the people who hate their jobs and don't want to deal with a potential customer. Absolutely rude.
I purchsed a dress for my anniversary and went in March and was told the dress could be altered and was quoted a price. Unfortunatel I went on saturday as I had been told I could come in 4 to 6 weeks to get the alterations done. I was dissapointed as I was told they would not fix the dress because it was a liability for them. I was requesting a lot of work to the dress and it did have a rip on the illusion in the front. I could not believe they said they would not do the work after telling me they would. I was speachless and left scrambling to look for someone to do the alterations on a holiday weekend. I was just told don't panic you still have time. This was the store in Watchung NJ. I do not recomend you go there unless you purchased your dress there or have minor alterations. I suggest the store makes sure if they can do the work begore promising they can. Two months latter I'm in a bind due to their uncommited promise that they could alter it. They even told me they do not buy fabric to make the alterations I was requesting. I let them know no one ever told me that because clearly I would have taken my buisness elsewhere
Oh My Goodness... My daughter and I went into David's in Woodbridge yesterday afternoon and had one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. On walking in, we were greeted and asked if we had an appointment which we did not. We were looking for off the shelf Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid dresses. 10 minutes in I asked an associate if they had any dresses with a certain (classical) neckline style and showed her an example and she immediately said, no, we don't have anything else like that in the store. They literally have thousands of dresses and many with that style of neckline. She did not offer to help in any way. Then my daughter was in a change room and an associate knocked on the door and immediately opened it wide, not waiting for a response. My daughter was naked and there was a man sitting right by the door waiting for his wife to come out of another change room and he saw everything. She was mortified! How is this not in your training package 101? Totally and completely UNACCEPTABLE! I picked up an outfit for my mother and when I went to pay, the girl asked me who had helped me. I wasn't going to say anything but the fact that she wanted to attribute my sale to a sales person for some sort of gain, flipped my Karen switch. I told her that NOBODY helped us and told her what the other sales girl did. She apologized to my daughter but used the excuse that they were conducting interviews and didn't have the time to help us. There was one other lady in the store trying on dresses, my daughter and I and about 5 staff and they couldn't have helped us? We were in the store for about 45 minutes and we saw the girls all standing around chatting with each other, fluffing dresses on hangers and completely ignoring us. David's, you need to do something about training these girls in the world of sales. I am in sales and very successful because I would never treat customers as we were treated yesterday. My budget for my dress was $1,000 and my daughters was $500 as well as there were 3 more bridesmaids that are in need of dresses. We probably could have found dresses in your store if we had have had any help whatsoever. But I'm thinking a return to your store is probably not in the future for any of us.
A completely disappointed possible customer!
I just visit the website and he ask me about human and a robot, Please fix it, or assist me, Thanks
Omg! Run do not walk they are unorganized they over book appointments. Their customer service skills are non existent I purchased my gown and bridesmaids dresses and accessories from them when it was time to pick the items up we had no shoes I called the store and customer service mind you this is in July I just got the shoes a week ago and its October they have several brides waiting in dresses 15+ minutes before the consultant returns had my wedding date wrong and had my alterations appointment a week before my wedding it took me 3 months of contacting them before they offered me 10% off the shoes I ordered three months ago really called customer service back the representative kept calling me BOO like she knew me I spent 4,000 and all they offered for their horrible service is 140.00 back its not the money its the principal we brides put our confidence in a company and after they get their money they don't care I will never shop here again and I would advise other brides to look elsewhere while I was there 30 minutes no one ever acknowledged me and after dragging this out so long you would think they would have been more appeasing to me but no they have their money so that's it they couldn't find the bell so my say yes moment was ruined there were women in there when I got my dress who were picking their dresses up and they were dirty and torn and they were the wrong size and they were told they ordered new dresses the undergarments they provide for brides to try on the gowns were filthy I refused to put them on so I'm not gona go on and on but I've been trying to warn other brides so their experience isn't ruined as mine washope this helps someone also if you do decide to try them ask for Neva she was excellent just overworked
