I spent a grand total of five minutes on this site.
When I confirmed my e-mail address I realised I wrote a typo in my username. Okay, I'm going to quickly fix it...
No way! They wanted me to pay for change my username. Seriously? XD
"Alas", I had to deactivate the account before I even could take a look around. I can't believe it exists.
This website is actually impossible to navigate, full of fake art made by fake people to profit off of gullible children, and also benefits and supports a literal new age genocide! DISGUSTING! DO NOT USE!
I made an account with deviantart a month ago and to this day it refuses to let me in. Ive tried this on other computers, on different search engines, and the website will never let me log in OR create a new account. Other people i've talked to have had the same problem and apparently the "help desk" has no idea what to do either. Sticking to Tumblr and other websites for people to see my art. It would be horrible if i had a lot of art posted to deviantart BEFORE this all happened just to lose it all. Thank god.
Occasionally I participate in their forums. They seem to use different standards depending on your political stance and easily give in to request from more liberal members to close a thread if the content is not to their liking. Liberal members however do not seem to suffer so much from these interventions. Though it is to be expected that art community usually tends to be on the more liberal/leftist side I still find it disappointing that the staff sometimes have it hard to hide their personal political preferences.
There is a lot of problems like extreme Cyber bulling on the community. I reported it in multiple times and nothing is done. All they want to do is sit back get their pockets full of money and let this kids friendly community turn to waste. So if your child decides to sign up or look through this website, don't allow them.
I had spent over twelve years on DeviantArt and I must say that it is absolutely a nightmare now than what it used to be. What was once a fun and entertaining website to be on as I eagerly enjoyed daily usage, now I dread having to even sign on to see what garbage has decided to bother me now.
If it's not the bot followers I receive, there's always either some fricking underage kid or pedophile fetishest adding innocent artworks to their dirty collections. I despise what this website has become, absolutely no control over the amount of garbage users have been joining in recent years (i.e., the bots, kids and pedos) posting terrible half-attempt drawings that provide no value.
To make things worse, DeviantArt now supports A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) "art" on its platform, as well as forcing a paywall on an important feature like "2-Step Authenticator" is only available for Core users.
What has become of this website? It's practically on life support at this point.
I am deviant photoshop artist. Have be a deviant for 2 years, and over those years my profile grew and got a lot of views but not much watchers. I got like over 1.1k page view and only 8 watchers. The site is good for stock photos to use in your art to create what ever you want. You can do art commission, sell prints, and make premiums galleries. There is a dark side to Deviant to note though... some people spam porn or upload nude images of themselves. (not for kids)
Not everyone will support your art and the community got a'lot dramas. I wouldn't recommend coming here for supporters if you are looking. Don't even think about freelancing here you wont have any luck.
At least I got a great gallery.
I'm a young woman with an orientation difference, and I'm full of talent, in writing, music, and drawing. I've joined this site after learning internet safety, which I didn't know much about before getting my new laptop for Christmas last year. Thank god I've learned internet safety, recently. So many users have gotten themselves into trouble, for harassing, threatening, or beating teens down. Taking advantage of them. I'd say if you're an adult it's okay for you to join the site. If you are a teen, please get off the site. It's not for children under the age of 21. Those are the rules.
But on the bright-sight, I've gotten many favorites for my grim-reaper and the gray alien I've drawn. I still plan on drawing more to come, and I really love the black with the sparkles on the core membership. It makes a good-wall paper, including the snakes, and skulls.
This is one of the best hubs for unique artwork of all kinds on the internet itself. I've been a member for years, but find myself browsing much more than creating. The interface is relatively easy to use, and they offer premium memberships with extra features. It's still awesome using it free though.
It's what I call the creative outlet for the photographers, artists, graphic designers and the ones with active creative imagination. It just inspires you in so many way by seeing all that creativity! Just wish their navigation gets a little improved.
Answer: They not care cyberbully
Answer: I've been on dA since 2009 and have already lost so much business due to the layout changes. So many previous customers are jumping ship because of how bad the website changes are.
DeviantArt has a rating of 2.1 stars from 141 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with DeviantArt most frequently mention and core membership. DeviantArt ranks 488th among Graphic Design sites.
