DHgate

Before I placed my order I inquired how long it would take until I would receive the order in Pennsylvania. They said it would ship right away via DHL and I would have it in 8-18 days. I placed my order April 14 for over almost $800.00. Right after I placed the order their website indicated the ETA was June 23. Good luck trying to correspond. You get broken phrases that says "Hello friend", "don't worry friend" but you can't believe anything they tell you. Now they say it has arrived at NYC customs on May 14, but they still have not provided me with a tracking number so I don't believe them. I will be lucky if I get it by June. You would do just as well by throwing your money out your window.

So far all of my transactions with dhgate sellers has been great. Prices cant be beat, shipping time from china to the united states is very reasonable (especially when it is free), and the quality of the products is exactly as described and pictured. Will definitely be doing more business with this site and its sellers. Overall very happy with dhgate.com as a site. Keep it up!

I've had an excellent experience with DHGate. They have a great assortment, amazing prices, and generally ship on time. While my specific shipping situation is usually an item going from China to the US, which can take a while, the products usually arrive within 3-4 weeks, which is within the delivery estimate. I usually buy blown glass products, for 50% the price that they would be at a brick and mortar store in the US. Love DHGate!

1) The price was around $80, which was the lowest I could find.
2) The delivery time was acceptable considering it was shipped from China.
3) The product came with minimal instructions which were not adequate.
4) I had to ask two people with software expertise to make the product work as it was too complicated for the average person to use with the minimal instructions supplied.
5) After about an hour the product started to malfunction and became useless.
6) A similar product was available in the USA for about $40.00 more, but had good support and instructions and talking to the seller, it had a low failure rate and good support if there were any problems.
7) I feel that DHgate is far removed from the producers of the products it sells and therefore anyone buying through DHgate is taking a high risk that the product will not perform.
8) DHgate needs to screen its suppliers to insure quality.

The seller promised an item in 9 days. It took 51. The company makes you wait to dispute payment. Then they condescendingly call you "friend" and don't answer questions straightforward. They give you limited reasons to dispute and then use those reasons to "prove" that you don't get the customer service required to move forward. This is a fraudulent company. I will NEVER order from them again.

I ordered two orders to two different addresses from one seller. Well I never received either package. Contacted the seller and the seller says the tracking shows delivered. I open a dispute with DHgate thinking they will help me because they hold the funds from the seller until delivery is confirmed, right? WRONG. I open the dispute and show them my local post office doesn't have the tracking numbers provided. They give the seller TEN days to respond to my dispute and then give me just ONE day to contact the local post office (which was a Sunday when usps is closed) before they release the funds to the seller. Guess what happens? As soon as the funds are released the seller deletes their shop/account. So even when I try to escalate the issue DHgate is now telling me there is nothing they can do since the seller is no longer on their platform. They offer me a $5 coupon on my next DHgate order while I'm out over $100. Just don't do it guys, it's not worth the risk.

This is the worst place to buy anything, and I only wish I had done research beforehand. I ordered a lithium ion light, it never came in the mail, and now I'm in the middle of a dispute claim with the seller for a full refund, which they're trying to deny me and send me another product with them paying the shipping. I want my $50 back, damn it.

Don't ever buy any dresses from this website. Should anything ever go wrong they are terrible to work with and will not give you your money back, even after providing evidence to justify your case. They represent many other companies out of the US. so it it VERY difficult to get appropriate responses given the time lag, lack of effective English and overall communication. I do no give them a rating at all, Is their less than Zero stars?

I would give this zero stars if that was an option. I ordered a big game board and received a lipstick. I contacted seller, no response. I tried to open a claim and the website gave out an error message every time. Finally was able to speak to someone online and explained what happened and provided proof. They said they would open a claim on my behalf but never did! Stay away from this website and save yourself some money and time.

Ordered custom motorcycle fairing from Charles Auto Parts, seller on DH Gate. Received wrong item. Paid $465.11 USD and have been trying to get a refund for over a month to no avail. The seller offered a $50.00 USD partial refund! Filed a dispute with DH Gate and the seller with no resolution. I sent pictures and was told "very nice, you make fit, we send you free gifts, no refund"

Looks like a legit site. Like a Chinese Etsy? It is not. I didn't receive my order which was honestly unsurprising. When I asked for the refund I was told by customer service that I had to contact the seller myself and ask them myself for a refund and only once they agreed could I get one. I laughed. Your expectations should be low here. Like as low as it gets. That, or just do shop here.

I said in previous write they only refunded me some money and kept back $5 for no reason and gave me a $5 coupon. The coupon is only valid if I spend another $59 in their store. So I get robbed again. This is extremely illegal in almost every country of the world. I have bought and sold off them for years and have only just realised they did this as I never checked. They must have robbed me out of hundreds. Not only are the sellers robbing but so are DHGate.

I wrote safe since i purchased an item which didn't arrive for a long time. So i opened a dispute and within a few days DHgate found the dispute in my favour and refunded me fully. On another experience i had bought items and received them promptly, faster then described and the items are of good quality and at a great price.

I ordered sneakers for $60. They create a shipping label then mail a piece of paper with that shipping number to a wrong address so it looks like your delivery is complete then they take your money. If you contact seller they never get back to you, if you contact customer service they send you in circles for weeks and months. I looked up other reviews and this same thing happened to hundreds of people.

The sellers are unreliable and sell products with a high error rate. Something that takes months and years to figure out. I was burned badly by many merchants at DHGate.
Also, the DHGate platform itself is specifically designed so that users post reviews after receiving their products, but then can not post an additional review or revise their review. You can only review a product based on a specific order. There are also no direct merchant reviews. Everything is very restrictive so that if something changes down the line you can not go back and change your review or add a review either at Product or Seller or Order level. This means many people who have a good up front experience but a poor experience down the line can not report this.

Big flaw. DHGate should have a merchant review system where you can review on customer service down the line.

DHgate is a professional outfit. They follow up on virtually everything. If I could change one thing (that DHgate does not control) it would be for the individual companies to ship ordered items out faster. Sometimes it takes individual companies, listed on DHgate a little too long to expedite an order. Overall, DHgate does a Good Job!

This was my first time ordering from DHgate, and it was quite simple. It is essentially eBay for China, and you purchase direct from the manufacturer. This allowed me to obtain items for much cheaper than if I had purchased them from a store. I did not purchase a replica item, as DHgate has been doing a great job of trying to remove replica items from their website. As long as you buy from a reputable seller, you should not run into any issues. DHgate does not pay sellers until you have received and checked out the items condition. I would definitely recommend this website to anyone.

I'm very pleased with the shipping time and that I did not have to communicate more with the seller than to just wait for my order with the provided tracking nr.

My second order:
I was very happy to see that the shipping time only took 9 days when the required shipping time was around 14-24 days. Also, yet again I did not have to talk with the seller more then just purchasing the item and getting it delivered, saves me so much time when everything is done correct!

I order some fairings back in May after them sending me the wrong color and wrong size for my motorcycle the only I could get a refund was to pay 120 shipping back to them and that was over a month ago I still haven't got my refund back and they keep giving me the run around. I have sent several emails and no response and also they don't have a contact number to reach them anymore I guess they had too many complaints. But I'm for sure going to let every media site on the internet know to be caution when order from the site. I wish I could post the emails and lack of communication to show you guys how serious I am. So I will be posting this several times a day until I get tired and on each site as well. Since they want to steal my 500 dollars Ill make sure people know how not to purchase from this site!

I ordered items smart watch, when i received them not same like information at site of seller and one of them not working, i ask refund with 47 usd seller accepted refund, till now not reach to my account. Refund since 2017-07-06. I asked them for Transaction number no answer.
I think this site is fake site.

So far, my experience with DHGate has continued to be a positive one. I get great quality products at a very low price. Everything arrives at a timely manner, I will continue to use this site for all of my purchasing needs!

I think DHgate is one of the best wholesale websites because the website has many terms and conditions which are protect the buyers but I have 3 points that the website management should consider: 1- the date of posting the items in not shown (which gives the sellers to post old items and write 2016 new arrival). 2- The website should attract more seller and items (most sellers sale same items). 3- The refund process should be a little bit quicker.

This site has may items at a very cheap rate but beware and do not spend money here. I ordered an item. It was not delivered. The tracking no. Shows it was delivered. When I called USPS, they said the address was not mine but the city was the same. They said this is a seller scam that somehow they get and post tracking no. For the same city. So, on the USPS site, it shows that the item is delivered, but in reality, it is not.
I opened a case on dhgate. After many tries to explain this to them, they could not understand. It is a Chinese site and there are a lot of communication issues. Or maybe they pretended, they did not get it. In any case, I learned a lessons!
